I might as well put up a thread for the Steelers and the upcoming draft. I'm sure Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert will do their damndest to have an all-black bunch of new Steelers.

SBNation has their latest mock draft up with this for the Steelers:

"31. Pittsburgh Steelers: Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida. Mike Pouncey is not as good a football player as his twin brother, Maurkice, who happens to be Pittsburgh's center. He's a talented prospect in his own right, and as they say about the offensive line, chemistry means more than just about anything."

Oh, yes, draft Pouncey the Younger just because the two siblings have good chemistry. Whatever happened to getting the best player available? There are plenty of talented white players for both the O-line and D-line that the Steelers could use, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for any of them to get drafted.

They drafted no whites last year and two whites the year before, both offensive linemen. 2008 wasn't any better and the only white drafted that year was Mike Humpal, a linebacker out of Iowa. Unfortunately he has yet to play in the NFL.
