I have no doubt that Toby Gerhart could put up similar numbers himself if he were a feature back. It's just a damn shame he had to end up on a team with the best RB in the NFL.

Toby plays for the Vikings behind the 2nd or 3rd best running back in the NFL. The best by far is Peyton Hillis.

KP, it's not a stretch to claim Hillis is the best in the league. He plays in the hardest division in the NFL to run in and is averaging 4.8 YPC which is better than Ray Rice, Rashard Mendenahall and Cedric Benson. Sure the Browns o-line is pretty good...But so are the defenses in that division. Hillis is dominating almost at the level of Chris Johnson last year- after he became the starter- when he's been healthy.

The Pats need to start giving Woodhead 12-20 carries a game- he's averaging 5.2 YPC to law firms 4.1 and is a much better big play threat and receiver. Lawfirm should be the change of pace guy.

Hillis may very well be the best all-around every-down RB in the NFL right now, especially when you add in his great/soft hands receiving enabling him to stay in on 3rd downs and also his tremendous blocking abilities on pass plays. Hillis is an athletic freak!

Hillis and Woodhead were the leading rushers in the Browns/Patriots game. I wonder when the last time was when the leading rushers were White from teams playing each other? Probably in the 70's, maybe 60's...

With 8 games left Hillis needs 356 yards for that elusive 1,000 yards. That only averages out to 44 yards per game.

I've been very disappointed with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady this season.. They just don't look comfortable.

At least Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco and Eli Manning are looking good. The MSM sure does hate Eli. Maybe it's because of his youthful appearance?.. which attract women btw. Women don't want to go out with 20-something-year-olds that look 45. "Sorry" affletes!!!

Hopefully Mangini doesn't turn into a ManGina next year and forget about how Peyton Hillis played a HUGE role in keeping his job. It's clear that Hillis has the potential to be a superstar and should be the man in Cleveland for the next few years. I have a dream that the Browns will draft T.J. Moe this year. I have a dream that Hillis can run the ball, McCoy can do his thing and at Qb, and Moe will make an immediate impact in the slot as a rookie and eventually get a chance to play Flanker as well. I can dream can't I?

TJ Moe is awesome but is only a sophomore. Maybe the Browns can draft Greg Salas or even better local talent Sanzenbacher in the later rounders as they clearly need talent at receiver. Cribbs and Evans are the only guys I would keep.

When Clay Matthews shot through the line and stuffed either Jones or Barber as soon as he was handed the ball, Crissie immediately started to blameit ona White o-lineman, but then when the replay was shown and it was undeniable even to Crissie that Matthews made a great play that no lineman could have stopped, he reversed himself and gave credit to Matthews.

At another point in the game the truck was telling Collinsworth to praise RG Josh Sitton, as the announcers are prompted to do prepared spiels about players periodically during games. Collinsworth dutifully went about praising Sitton as the camera feed focused on him, but never once mentioned his name. It was just "this guy is playing well for Green Bay."

Colt McCoy is playing very well right off the bat as a rookie. And yet a lot of the media wolves were ready to throw him under the bus during his rookie training camp. Stories were being floated that the Browns were going to cut Colt. It's great to see another White player sticking it in the faces of the professional anti-White media hacks.

Right on, Don. Colt is the key guy besides Hillis that is making the Cleveland offense go. Before Colt came in, the Browns offense was simply too poor in the aggregate to win games, even with Hillis as the feature back. I thought Delhomme might be able to get the job done, but he's shown by his play that he's over the hill. Seneca has also shown he is utterly unable to get the job done. So, I was very disappointed in the Browns because I thought they would do well this year with Hillis, and the Browns demonstrated in the preseason that they could just run over people with Hillis and Vickers. Well, Colt has exceeded everyone's expectations and looks really, really good and mobile out there, especially for a rookie. What a breath of fresh air!! Now, it looks like Hillis and Colt will be able do real damage with a fantastic running game and a solid passing game.

The Browns winning formula was shown in spades against the Pats. A heavy dose of Hillis to steadily move the ball, wear down the defense, and control the clock. Here and there, The Juggernaut is also able take big chunks out of the D's hide with long runs through the heart of the D and around the end. This puts heavy pressure on the opposing offense to score, as their opportunities are very limited with the Browns hogging the clock. With Hillis and the great Browns running game, the opposing offense is shut down simply because they cannot get onto the field. When the Browns put up 7 or even 3, the pressure just increases that much more. And in the second half, the Browns running game becomes more and more difficult (perhaps impossible) to stop. It's all possible now because of the play of Colt McCoy entering the picture.

I just watched the NFL Network's "highlights" of the Cleveland-New England game, and it was about 2 minutes long, but the only Hillis play shown was his TD run in the 4th quarter. Could the anti-White agenda be any more obvious and blatant?

The NFL Network always seems to have odd highlight packages, and the analysis is often devoid of actual analysis, usually consisting of more hype than not (even moreso than ESPN, the king of hype). With that being said, I don't think it's any express anti-white agenda by the NFL network. It's just them being, as usual, a second rate production when compared to ESPN, NBC, FOX and others.

On the plus side, ESPN's "The Blitz" led off with one of Peyton Hillis' great runs in the game. It was the run where Hillis hurdled a defender, and Berman did one his characteristic "whoops" and both he and Tom Jackson were complimentary of him.

Don Banks of SI was also high in his praise of Hillis, even pointing out how stupid McDaniels was to get rid of him, "Every time I watch Peyton Hillis run the ball, like he did for 184 tough yards and two touchdowns on Sunday, I wonder what in the world was it about his game that Denver head coach Josh McDaniels didn't like?" Who knows, maybe McDaniels didn't like the color of Hillis' skin? Maybe McDaniels couldn't get it through his head that Hillis could be a stud running back, not just a "white fullback" only fit to block and catch a few balls out of the backfield. Oh well, his loss.

"His running reminds me of Larry Csonka. Guys like that might not be born with the most natural talent. But they make up for it by playing smart and outworking everyone."

Not much talent but they work hard and outsmart everyone-CLASSIC.

Yeah, if you use him in place of a Negro you have a roster problem. I hope Peyton goes nutzz against the Jets and everyone else.

If you see Hillis as something other than a feature back who will continue to knock Zulu Warriors out of game, score lots of touchdowns, and effectively end the game for the other team, you have an intellectual problem.

Just what the hell does Hillis have to do? Run for 184 yards, or some such impossible feat? Make receptions that are beyond the ability of half the affaletes at WR in the league? What imbeciles some of these fans are.

Anyone who sees Hillis as a blocking and pass catching FB is to put it bluntly, a fool. I don't even like the comparison to Csonka, as it conjures up someone who is "old" and leads to the "throwback" player tag. Hillis is not a throwback player anymore than Brandon Jacobs is.

Fortunately, some people are able to look past Hillis' race and see him for what he is. I don't have the quote handy, but I saw someone comment that he is something like a new Jerome Bettis. That's a fair comparison, although it's safe to say Hillis is in much better shape than Bettis ever was, even in his prime.
