i am beginning to really enjoy NFL this season. we have guys like Peyton, Danny being featured for their teams, Chad Hall, John Kuhn, Brian Leonard (to a lesser extent) and Toby Gerhart all contributing as well. when was the last time we could enjoy that many white runningbacks (and actually being labeled as runningbacks!)

go Toby!

wow. what an incredible play call and amazing execution by Green Bay on a4th down-special teams-turned-big pass play ... that is, right up until the afflete falls down while running untouched in a straight line (with his affletic, perfectly-honed, time-honored negro skill), resulting in a perfectly-thrown ball by backup quarterback Flynn falling incomplete.

Geez that gimmick play should have worked! Quarless is clearly not as athletic as he's made out to be. HE was wide open and tripped over his own feet.Flynn threw a beautiful ball!!!!! WTF?

damn, Brett misses Toby with this short pass.

Jared Allen needs a few sacks in this game! he only has 1 on the year.

Favre clearly threw the ball well behind a wide-openGerhart, who had to stop his run, completely turn around, and dive to tryto get a hand on it ... but then Uncle Chris blames Toby for not being on the same page with his quarterback. WTF?!?

The Redskins-Bears game is being called by many the worst game ever seen. Look at both teams long and hard....getting a picture?

Gerhart was effective with 5 carries for 24 yards last night. It's an absolute disgrace that he only has 15 carries so far this season. He should be getting 6-8 carries a game and he's only averaging two per game thus far.

I didn't watch the Denver game, but is it possible that the affletes have "quit" on McDaniel?

I know they have an ALL-black defense, which is infuriating, but are they "that bad"....

DE Justin Bannan starts for the Broncos. He used to play for the Ravens and Bills.

Great Woodhead article!

Be sure to save it in your Microsoft Word guys. I don't want to post the whole thing here- b/c unlike often times- a copyright is shown on the bottom.

That was great man! Thanks!

It's a good article and it's great that Danny is getting recognized as a good football player in the NFL, but the elephant in the room in this article is that the stereotype exists pretty much because he's white. We all know that there area few5'-8" 200 lb (and smaller)black running backs in the NFL, and they are never the subject of such "dreams". It's a good bet that those 26 white high school running backs who led their states in rushing last year included no small number of those who could run and cut like Danny. But we'll never know, will we, becausethat stereotype andf**king "dream" blocks theiraccess tothat FBS scholarship as a running back. They get to play linebacker or safety instead.

It would be nice if someone from Denver can inform us of what the media and DWFs are saying there. The Broncos are 4-13 since starting off 6-0 last year, and yesterday's game was one of the most humiliating lossesof the last 40 years.

I noted last night that the Packers had an all-white backfield out there on a few snaps, with Kuhn at RB and the fullback, #35,whose name I can't think of right now....

Here's a link to the Denver Broncos message boards....I joined last year just to promote Hillis. He was pretty popular amongst the fans and was literally the subject of the most threads. Of course you had your typical DWFs. I have gone back and posted a couple of times this year after successful Hillis games coupled with disastrous Denver games. The reaction to my comments about McDaniels are increasingly positive:

if Toby was a Packer he would have had a very solid hold on the RB position by now.

Most are calling for McEminem's head. I've both heard and read where people are calling for Bill Cower or John Gruden to replace him. One delusional DWF wrote something about how great it would be if they got both Bill Cower and Michael Vick, "because he's got great moves and can throw the ball too"...must be thinking that Cower would use him like he used Kordell Stewart...crazy stuff.

There are a lot of dog-lovers along the Front Range and I don't think they'd take too kindly to that, not to mention that QB is the least of their worries...the coal-black defense and anemic, affirmative-action running game are...and Tebow is wildly popular here anyway. McEminem is reaping what he sowed. Like I've said before, "karma's a bitch".
