Chad Hall with 2 carries so far. I don't get the NFL network, but I'm guessing the line did a horrible job of blocking because he only has 1 yard.

Interesting to see that Chad Hallwas running the"Wildcat" on 2nd & goal..quick burst was stopped just short of the goal-line.

The Mike/Michael Vick story certainly is a heartwarming one. Against all odds, the most overrated athlete of all time leaves prison after two years, looks rusty in limited action last season and is atrocious in preseason play this year. Then, after a very fortuitous injury to Kevin Kolb, the same guy who struggled mightily the week before in preseason (against reserves) lights up the NFL from the moment he steps under center.

Yes, an older, rustier Mike/Michael Vick, who was wildy inaccurate, especially on his deep throws, during his tenure with the Falcons, has suddenly become laser sharp on all throws, no matter the length. His previously horrific offensive line appears to have caught this magic as well, as he now enjoys maximum protection on nearly ever throw. Of course, when he is pressured, he is impossible to sack, much as he is nearly impossible to intercept now, too.

This story is so ridiculous that Hollywood would reject it.

I now wonder if I should have started Kevin Walter instead of Jeremy Shockey this week. Time will tell.

Just read that prior to this season, the incredible Vick had TWO career 300 yard passing games. Wow. This season- he has 3 already. Wow again.

This guy is one of the few walking endorsements for prison rehabilitation.

He is one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the league. 4 of the top 11 most sacked quarterbacks are black. So much for being mobile. McNabb, Garrard, Campbell and Vick.

It was good to see Chad Hall get 3 carries. He looked good on the carry where he almost got in the endzone and on the 3rd and short carry where he got the 1st down despite little room. Unfortunately his YPC will be brought down due to how he was used. Chad formerly was over 6 YPC, but now will be at 3.7 YPC- with 6 carries for 22 yards. At least if Hall is moved to 3rd RB behind Harrison, but ahead of that bum Buckley it would be somewhat fair. I'd have to check Buckley's college production, but he's been horrible in limited action for the Eagles this year.

It's not that ridiculous. It has happened before, a QB not playing for a few years and performing well when playing again.

George Blanda hadn't played regularly at QB since 1954 and was out of football in 1960 when he signed with Houston of the newly-formed AFL. Blanda then played better than ever for the Oilers.

Jim Plunkett was cut by the 49ers and spent 1978-79 as a backup for the Raiders. When Dan Pastorini went down with an injury, Plunkett became the starter and took the Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XV.

..... But none of those QB stories properly support the "fix" and "massive conspiracy" theories

Steve Young and Terry Bradshaw took a long time to realize their potential, among others.

Vick hasexcellent running ability and a strong arm, so once he finally learned to scan the field rather than take off running at the first opportunity, he became a good quarterback. Thefact that most NFL defenses are laughably badalso helps.

I think Vick has a low IQ, but in today's NFL he can succeed. But look how long it took; he's 30 years old now.Edited by: Don Wassall

Now, as for Michael Vick, although I normally will not heap praise on a black QB, he has shown quite a leap over his previous seasons, and I think that it's because he is now doing the things that successful white QB's do. According to his teammates, Vick is not one of the guys that hits the scene after the work day is done. They say that he's just a boring guy who spends all evening in the film room with the coaches studying and learning. If that is indeed the case, then my hats off to him, as that is what it takes. Of course, if he has a few dreadful games and the Eagles flop, I won't shed any tears.

He lights up the NFL because the opposing defenders are willingly allowing him to do it.

Just watch the first play in the next videoclip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQQd50OGYho&feature=related

Watch how Desean Jackson is allowed to get open without a defender closing on him.
The cornerback doesnt run with Desean Jackson, and the safety doesnt start to run towards him until he made the catch. This is how Convick gets most of his big plays upfield, when Desean Jackson is simply allowed to get open with defenders always making "mistakes" .

The oppossing brothas are helping him big time every single game. This is how he was made the No1 QB.

This was true before Vick ever started. DeSean Jacksons big seasons he was criticized for getting most of his yards on blown coverages, more than any other receiver in the league. Its just bad db play. Notice how his worst game was when DeSean Jackson was held in check. The blueprint was laid on how to stop Vick a few weeks ago, why the Texans didn't try and do that, I don't know.

The Vick story is far different from the other examples cited. Jim Plunkett spent the first years of his career on a mediocre Patriots' team, and still had some nice moments. He then went to the 49ers, who were also bad at that point. The Raiders team he shone with was full of talent. No mystery there. Steve Young started with a terrible Bucs' team. He always had tremendous talent, but no one could have done well with that group. On a smaller scale, Vinnie Testeverde went through the same thing. The 49ers team that Young eventually led was very talented offensively and had a wonderful system in place. As for Bradshaw, any QB in the NFL could have "led" those Steelers to Super Bowls. He never had a 300 yard game until his final season in the NFL.

In Vick's case, he never played for a bad team. The Falcons were very good when he was there, but HE held them back. Matt Ryan proved this when he performed so well, with the same offensive talent Vick struggled with. Remember all the times we heard that he had no weapons? How bad his WRs were? Roddy White was there with Vick. No one knew he could play until Vick left. None of the other players cited spent two years in prison. Vick also didn't look great last season. Even the loyal jock sniffing hordes commented that he seemed noticably slower. And, as noted, he looked horrific THIS preseason. There was even talk of him being cut.

So....how does this ex-con, who seemed much slower last year (as would be expected- older, hadn't played football, etc.), suddenly seem quicker than ever? Oh yes, and he appears to have been given this miraculous re-birth of speed since the last preseason game THIS year, when he looked slow and sloppy against reserve defensive players. And as for his new found accuracy, again- it is unprecedented. Maybe if, like some others, he spent years on a horrible team, with weak receivers, and then came to a more talented group, with a coach like Bill Walsh or something, it might be understandable. But I'm sorry, it is just not believeable to me that a wildly inaccurate passer, who struggled with all kinds of throws, could suddenly, at an advanced age, after a two year stint completely away from the game, become this incredibly accurate quarterback.

And for the icing on the cake, the player in question just happens to be the media's darling, the most overrated athlete of all time. Call it just another conspiracy theory if you want.

Lets see, an entire year of getting into football shape, being mentored by new coaches and working on fundamentals. DeSean Jackson is the type of receiver that makes a quarterback look better. Roddy White is the type of receiver that the quarterback makes look better than he actually is. Its that simple. He still struggles with throws. Reid is just smart enough to use him in situations where he can make the throws he is comfortable with. The Bears got him outside of that comfort zone and he didn't do so well. Going to prison was a great thing for Mike, well at least getting to change teams. He was taught how to be more of a passer. Yes he didn't look great last year, he just got out of prison, there is a difference between being in shape and football shape. I still don't think he is looks as great as the media is hyping him out to be. The change in scenery is going to provide no more success than he originally had, its just this time hes having it more with his arm. Like most black quarterbacks, they have a few good seasons, then they are figured out, and they never adjust. Mike was lucky enough to land on a team that seems to love black qbs and they helped him adjust his game, but it won't last long. Even though they have worked with Mike, the Bears laid the blueprint on how to get him out of his comfort zone, its only going to go downhill from here. He has a high rating, but he threw a pick the last two games, and has been sacked 20+ times, which is the 10th worse I believe. Look at all the afflete qbs in college and NFL qbs no longer doing well, they had a good season or two, hyped up, and regressed, some of them even losing their starting jobs in college. Mike was just lucky enough to get a second chance, to perform well, get hyped up, and regress again.

As for Bradshaw and anyone being able to lead those teams to Superbowls, get out of here man. Bradshaw was one of the best quarterbacks of all time. Who cares how many 300 yard games he had, he did a terrific job in the role that was asked of him. If he was on a team that needed a qb to throw 300 yards a game he could have done that. I don't even know what to make of your post. Are you implying defenders are just letting Michael Vick throw all over them? that the teams he faces are running slower so he looks faster? Are these same guys writing the story line also letting Hillis rush for a 1,000 yards this season. Is that the plan for their script? have a black quarterback win, but then also have a white guy rush for a 1,000 yards? Vick looked decent in preseason, keep in mind, he was also playing with "scrubs". He looked good when he threw to Riley Cooper and Chad Hall.

He was rusty his first year playing. He had a year to learn under Reid who could make a golden retriver look like a competent quarterback, and a year to get back into football shape. Yes he is older but you don't just lose all of your athleticism at a certain age. You act as if he is playing lights out. He is playing good, but doesn't look anywhere close to the level of Manning, Brady, Brees etc. The guy isn't going to win a Superbowl. Like I said, he is already starting to get figured out, its only downhill from here.

He may be the media's darling but the fans don't give a crap about him (except dwf Philly fans and black people). They would be better off writing a script to get someone like Josh Freeman to win the Superbowl. I feel dirty having to defend a slightly above average dog killing quarterback who is probably one of the biggest pieces of sh*t playing in the football league right now, which isn't an easy task, but your conspiracy theories are just getting ridiculous. Why not let him win the Superbowl before his image was tarnished? Its not a heartwarming story, not too many white people sympathize with dog killers. They are just afraid to keep voicing their opinions because blacks pull the race card "he did his time, what else do you want....its because hes black isnt it".

If these games are completely legitimate, then we are forced to conclude:

Michael Vick is now one of the best QBs in the league, and perhaps all that annoying, over the top drooling from the jock sniffers and DWFs for all those years was actually justified.

Raheem Morris is one of the brightest coaches in the league, and the nearly all black Buccaneers are evidently a pretty good squad.

The nearly all black Steelers are one of the best, if not the best, team in the NFL, and their coach Mike Tomlin is obviously great, since he sports one Super Bowl win already and was able to lead them, without Big Ben, to a 3-1 record to start the season.

Lagarette Blount is evidently a real diamond in the rough, and seems to be a legitimate NFL starting RB.

The top ranked black QBs in the NFL (Vick, Young, Freeman, Garrard) sport an astounding combined TD to INT rate of 57 to 21.

Denver, under the impressive tutelage of Josh McEminem, has the NFL's top passing attack, which features the sterling Brandon Lloyd and the imcomparable Jabar Gaffney as the starting receivers. Lloyd, by the way, somehow has more receiving yards than anyone else in the league.

These are just random observations. Like the Vick situation, none of them make sense, if all games are played as unfettered, competitive contests, and I think they all provide food for thought. I'm certainly pleased with the success of Peyton Hillis and Danny Woodhead, but if I'm obligated to explain that kind of thing, then others who poo-poo my "conspiracy theories" should be able to explain the sort of examples I cited above.

For, if these games are entirely legitimate, then teams like Pittsburgh (especially when Big Ben was out) should not be powerhouses. And there is no way that Tampa Bay, coached by the ultimate AA head coach, should be the "surprise" team of the year. Most reasonable observers predicted they'd be one of the worst teams in the league.

Certainly, Denver's passing attack, with such putrid WRs (one of whom is somehow leading the league in yards), should not be the top ranked one in the NFL. I know, it's all because of white QB Kyle Orton, right? With THOSE receivers? And THAT coach? And no running game? Okay, maybe we should put Orton in the Hall of Fame.

Again, I provide these thoughts for intelligent consideration.

Orton plays in a weak division. Black players play harder for black coaches for a short time. Blount is good. He is a good runner, despite being a piece of crap human being. I wouldn't call him a diamond in the rough, he had one great game against a pathetic Arizona team and has been average since. And its not like he was unknown, he was highly thought of before the Boise incident.

Denver isn't winning any games with that passing attack. Drew Brees threw for 5,000 yards and didn't have a winning season, he doesn't have any real passing threats, at least not that year, his go to receiver was Lance Moore of the practice squad. NFL isn't recruiting the best talent, so crappy teams will sometimes surprise and win. Who did Tampa beat? Carolina (twice)? The Bengals? Arizona, San Fransisco? Yeah real surprise there. And many NFC south fans picked the Bucs as a surprise team.

Who was the best team Pittsburgh beat in that time span? Atlanta? with a close overtime win, where Ryan didn't have the best performance, targeting White 23 times. Then wins against Tampa Bay and Tenn. Crappy teams beating other crappy teams. This is what happens when you fill the NFL with crappy players. Pittsburgh does have a good defense, I think they are number 1 in rush defense. Raheem and Tomlin aren't really coaching anyway. Who have they beaten since, the Bengals, the Raiders? impressive. Then Buffalo in overtime where an afflete dropped a td.

Michael Vick is not anywhere close to being one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He is the best black quarterback right now. Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Rodgers etc are all better, despite what his numbers may say.

These are competitive contests, with many crappy players. You are not arguing that there is a caste system and this is the reason for all the crappy teams beating other crappy teams, you are saying that this is all fixed, there is a big difference. You can't get it through your skull that this is the result of forcing underqualified athletes into the league. Yes there are some good players/teams left, like the Patriots, Falcons etc. The AFC north is pretty tough, I think the Steelers are better than they are given credit for, good defense, and find ways to win despite a horrible line. The only team that sucks , or is at least inconsistent are the Bengals. The Browns are doing well despite having no receiving threats and having the hardest strength of schedule, not to mention going trough 3 different quarterbacks, most of their losses have been by only a few points. The division Denver is in is absolute garbage, that is how Orton is throwing all of those yards with those receivers. I have said this before. Put Jamaal Charles in another division and he doesn't average 6.3, which is almost the highest for any rb in the superbowl era.

Vick and Garrard are also in the top ten for being sacked. Garrard has 17 tds to 11 tds, and has only thrown over 200 yards a few times this year, one of them was because of a dump off pass to Maurice Jones Drew who took it the distance, which is probably where most of his yards come from, he dinks and dunks, and is a game manager at best. Maurice Jones Drew is the reason for the success. Freeman is a young black qb, who like Leftwich, Culpepper, will have initial success, and then regress. Right now he is not really making reads, lobbing it up to receivers and dbs are just having horrible play, not just vs him, all over the league. Vick is the only one who I can say is playing above average football.

And again, you've been asked how many times to keepthis subjectout of the weekly NFL threads and the NFL forums?

I'm not going to waste time refuting what is and has been easily refuted by tons of contrary facts innumerable times by innumerable posters. Because just like a troll you'll just restate your position over and over again without acknowledging any of the many holes that are pointed out in your "theory" that every game is scripted and fixed, or at best resort to your fallback position that you "don't know how and why it's done." Maybe GPS tracking devices are now guiding Vick's passes; that's no more absurd than your assertion that the league office issued a secretmemorandum orderingDrew Bennett to retire from football.

This site is about the Caste System, and has built up a lot of credibility over time, credibility I intend to see kept.Your obsession goes in Happy Hour. Are you a troll? Last warning.Edited by: Don Wassall

The blueprint was laid on how to stop Vick a few weeks ago, why the Texans didn't try and do that, I don't know.

"Bad DB play"? Good joke.
Well, maybe there is a way to find out who is right, me or you, maybe there is a way to find out if it was indeed "bad DB play", or a play where "the opposing defenders are willingly allowing" Convick to light up the NFL, as I described it.

Lets watch how the same Texans defence played the week before, against a White QB. And in particular, lets watch how the same cornerback, Glover Quin, who "forgets" to run with Desean Jackson, plays against a White QB. Lets watch the first play in the next videoclip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NZNL1dhq7Y&feature=related

What do we see? Well, against the White QB, the cornerback doesnt "forget" to run with "his" receiver, he actually runs with him and makes an interception.

Lets fast forward to min 1.40-1.50 in the same videoclip. What do we see? Again, the same cornerback, who "forgot" to run with Desean Jackson, actually runs with "his" receiver, he covers him well and makes another interception.

Well well well. Who would have believed. The negro cornerback, against the White QB, never forgets to run with his receiver, but against Saviour Convick, he forgets to run with Desean Jackson, thus allowing Desean Jackson to get wiiiiiiiiide open, so that Convick can make a big play and cement his status as a "great" QB.

Ofcourse, this also expains why he didnt threw interceptions, his receivers are almost always wide open, the defenders are almost always making "mistakes" when they face Saviour Convick, mistakes that they never make when they face White QB. When Convick finally threw an interception, against the Bears, he threw it right in the hands of the defender, I guess the defender didnt have enough time to get out of the way and let the receiver make a great catch for "the best QB" in the NFL.

As for Desean Jackson benefitting from blown coverages, who was he playing for before Convick ? Ah, lets see, maybe another negro Saviour QB? Maybe. Funny how most of the "blown" coverages came when the defenders were facing a negro QB, not when they were facing a White QB. But thats just a coincidence, no ? "Bad DB play", as you named it. Yeah right.

As for why the Texans didnt try the blueprint to stop Vick, well, if they tried, they maybe would have succeeded, and then what? Who would the NFL then present as their Saviour negro QB? How can the colleges justify all those negro QBs, when there isnt one negro "great QB" in the NFL? No, we cant have that. There must be at least one great negro QB in the NFL, and if there isnt, we'll manufacture one. Defenders will "blow" coverages, they will produce "bad DB play", also "bad Linebackers play", also "bad defensive linemen play", and so we will have a negro topping the QB rankings in the NFL, so that colleges can justify loading up their QB position with negroes, because after all they are looking for the next "Michael Vick".

It happened against Kolb too, blown coverage quite a bit. You really think the defenders in the NFL are that good? come on man. Those are two different games, no way of knowing what the play call was, or what the defenders assignment was. These guys have mental lapses, all the time, its only noticed when someone like Sabby has one. White quarterbacks are benefiting from messed up assignments too, and doing a much better job at it then any of the black ones, they read the defenses much better, find the mismatches, and find the holes in the coverages. I didn't know Glover Quin was such a consistent player

Just because there is a blueprint doesn't mean every team can execute it. Or is every team in the NFL trying to protect Vick except the Bears, who aren't white friendly themselves...

what black quarterbacks in college? they have all been proven to be frauds, Jacory Harris, the guy from Texas A&M. Who do they have left? Terrelle Pryor? yeah really expecting him to light it up.....maybe at wide receiver. Cam Newton is running a system that is similar to what Tebow ran mixed in with concepts that Leach and June Jones ran, inflated stats, with nowhere near the passing ability of Tebow. BUST, unless he converts to another position.

The Eagles play, you can't tell anything about that play because of the close angle and don't have a clue as to who is supposed to be where. The Rusty Smith pass is underthrown, and the next one is a short pass that he jumped. No way to tell if that was the receiver running the route wrong or Smith's fault.

It's no secret, or shouldn't be, that black defensive players get away with amazing amounts of sloppy and indifferent play, to put it kindly. Larry Johnson said that black players play harder for black coaches; that's hardly a revelation to the racially aware who follow sports. We know that racial considerations are a prime motivating force in the NFL in a lot of ways. There is a racial spoils system that exists and is pandered to, to the point that blacks get away with murder, figuratively and occasionally literally.

Houston has been passed on by every team in the league; most defenses in the NFL are terrible and can't stop not only Vick butalso good White QBs. I remember CFers positing a few seasons back that this was going to be the year that McNabb and the Eagles were going to win the Super Bowl because it looked like everything was falling into place; didn't happen.A number ofblack QB have played lights out for a period of time; it was only just a couple of months ago that just about everyone, including some here, were writing that Vince Young had become a star. Hell, I remember a nationally televised Sunday night game between theSteelers and Ravensin which Kordell Stewart looked like an all-time great. Vick is still far from a proven superstar at quarterback, and in fact looked quite mortal against both the Giants and Bears, two of the few teams in the league with good defenses.

Mr, dont try to bullsh*t me. "No way of knowing what the defenders assignment was" ? WTF? Can you actually say those words with a straight face? What other assignment could he have? "Stay put while the Eagles deep offensive threat blows past you" ? Is that it? Are you serious? Funny how he didnt have this assignment when he faced the White QB the week before. Funny how he never forgot to run with his reciever when he faced the White QB the week before.

Quin didnt have mental lapses all the time, against the White QB he didnt had one mental lapse, he was always covering well the Titans receiver, but lo and behold, against the Saviour Convick, he starts the game with a "mental lapse" which allows Convick to start the game with a bang. Yeah, thats just a coincidence, it cant be what I saw it to be, a defender willingly allowing a receiver to blow past him and thus allowing Convick to start the game with a bang.

If the cornerback was not supposed to run with Desean Jackson, then who was? the slower linebackers? the defensive linemen? Bigunreal sounds much more convincing than you do.

As for White QB benefitting from messed assignments, and "bad DB play", and "mental lapses", well, I dont know what games have you watched, but in games I have watched, these White QB have to work hard to find these messed assigments, these "bad DB play" are not handed to them on a plate, like in the case of Convick.

Ofcourse that the negro college QBs are proven almost always to be frauds, but that doesnt prevent colleges from looking for the next Saviour negro QB, now does it? It doesnt prevent even NFL teams from giving them chance after chance, does it? It didnt prevent JaMArcuss Rusell to become the top overall pick, did it? It probably wont stop Cam Newton to be taken in the first round and given a chance even before Tebow gets his chance, now does it? Even though he put up poorer stats than Tebow, he will be presented as the next Michel Vick, while Tebow is warming the bench as Orton doest give any sign of slowing down. And negroes will be given chance after chance at the QB in college and NFL, no matter how much they suck, because after all, the coaches will be looking to find the next diamond in the rough, the next "Michael Vick" b1tches, the best QB in the NFL, the crackaz just hate because a brotha is lighting up the NFL.

Not any team can execute the blueprient? Another joke. Ofcourse they cannot execute it if they didnt even try it. If they allow Desean Jackson to blow past their cornerback with the cornerback just watching, yeah, I guess they cannot execute the blueprient. Convick is just unstoppable, he is the Messiah, we are just fools for even trying to stop the Superman. The White QBs, well, they are human, they make mistakes, we can try all kinds of blueprints to stop them, but for Convick, we are just waisting our time, lets just sit back and enjoy his greatness while it lasts. And Bigunreal is called "a troll" on these threads. Sheesh.
