As if the Steelers aren't black enough they will now have a sumo at center. From Rotoworld:

Rookie Maurkice Pouncey has begun running as the Steelers' first-team center, displacing veteran Justin Hartwig.
<div ="s_pNewsTextMain">
Fantastic news for Rashard Mendenhall and Ben Roethlisberger. Hartwig
was one of the worst run-blocking centers in the league last season, and
Pouncey has the potential to be one of the best. Trai Essex's right
guard job appears to be safe.
</div>
As usual Rotoworld shows their bias for white athletes and love for the affletes.

That would be bias against white athletes, wa33, but your point is well taken. Sad to see the veteran White linemen being replaced wholesale. This kind of stuff started with the White RBs and CBs in the late 60s.

Many teams around the league start three black offensive linemen and some even four. I can't wait till the final depth charts come out and we do all the research so a comparison can be made to last season.

Looks like Peter King has overdosed on Caste System Kool-Aid:

<DIV =blog_entry_title>SI picks Steelers to win Super Bowl XLV</H1>
<DIV =Common>
<DIV =Common>

Tuesday, 6 p.m.

Sports Illustrated NFL guru Peter King picks the Steelers to win Super Bowl XLV in the latest issue of the magazine, which should be on news stands tomorrow and delivered to subscribers Thursday.

King calls for a 33-27 Steelers' win over the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl.

Furthermore, he says the Steelers will go 3-1 in Ben Roethlisberger's absence -- if Roethlisberger's suspension, as expected, is four games.

King also says the Steelers will finish 11-5 and earn the No. 2 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye in the playoffs. He has Baltimore finishing second in the AFC North with a 9-7 record and making the playoffs as the sixth seed.

Before Green Bay, King has the Steelers road to the Super Bowl going like this: A 16-13 win over the New York Jets at Heinz Field and a 27-23 win at Indianapolis in the AFC title game.

Definitely fantasy-land predicting. Apparently, Pete hasn't bothered to observe the Stellers in action this pre-season and the sterling performances of the all-affletic QBs that will be playing in Big Ben's absence, along with the abysmal blocking of the sumo O-line. I predict that the Steelers won't even make the playoffs this year!!

If the Steelers will go 3-1 without Big Ben, then they should keep him on the bench and finish the season 12-4. Of course, SI is known for its horrible predictions. The Steelers began unraveling last year and as Tomlin continues purging whites from the roster they will slide into oblivion.

Quite a few members on this board stated in the past that black coaches are more fair than white coaches when it comes to white players. I don't think that argument holds any water. Just take a look at Pittsburgh and Raheem's "Dream Team" down in Tampa. Blacks coaches seem to be even worse. Hatie Smiff is almost as bad as these two.

the new breed of coaches doesn't seem to be very good in that respect. Dungy was seemingly one of the few that was semi-fair.

The Steelers release 5 white players out of the miniscule number they had in camp:

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10247/1085176-100.stm

"The veterans include former starting center Justin Hartwig, linebacker and 2008 rookie of the Year Patrick Bailey, and five second-year players: Cornerback Joe Burnett, fullback Frank Summers, guard Kraig Urbik, kick returner Stefan Logan and defensive end Sunny Harris.

Also released were wide receiver Tyler Grisham, safety Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith, defensive tackle Steve McLendon and rookie defensive lineman Doug Worthington, a seventh-round pick."

Hartwig, Bailey, Urbik, Grisham and McClendon. And LB Brandon Renkart was released in an earlier cut.

If my calculations are right, the 53-man roster to start the season will have only P/K/LS, OL Doug Legursky, TEs Miller and Spaeth, and DL Smith, Keisel, and Hoke.

Only 9 white men til Big Ben gets back!

Mike Tomlin won't be satisfied til he gets the white contingent down to a K/P/LS and a couple token white position players.

He can't wait til Smith, Keisel and Hoke are gone in the next year or two. Hell, how could he even worry about drafting new D-linemen when almost no one gives them a chance anymore?

Big Ben will probably be gone after this season.

That will leave the TEs and not much more.

But rest assured the DWFs are salivating for the chance to see a coal black team with Dennis Dixon at QB in the '11-12 season.

I almost think Don should bar the Steelers from this site if this continues because there won't be any white players to talk about.Edited by: Van_Slyke_CF

It's sad really to see the Steelers turned into Grambling North.

The DWFs in Jacksonville and Miami seemed to turn on their teams when the number of Whites on the 53 man roster dwindled to around 9 or 10 -- and that's counting the kicker, punter and long snapper. American Whites are amazingly self-loathing and black-worshipping, but even they have their limits, which will be tested again in Pittsburgh and Tampa.

Wasn't there a noticeable inflection point with the NBA as far as popularity that we can draw on as an example? I pray for the day one of these Caste teams cannot draw a half stadium, even with a good team visiting.

More evidence of the lengths Tomlin and Colbert will go to in order to create a near all-black roster:

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10249/1085432-66.stm

"They kept their two rookie outside linebackers, Jason Worilds and Thaddeus Gibson, the only backups on the outside after they released Patrick Bailey. Neither is ready to play the position after both converted from college defensive ends, so, if there is an injury, Lawrence Timmons would move outside, one reason they started him there Thursday night.

Anthony Madison, all 5-foot-9, 180 pounds of him, made the team. It shows that, even though they released Patrick Bailey, the Steelers are serious about improving their special-teams play. Same for keeping veteran special teamer Arnaz Battle instead of the Wes Welker-like young receiver Tyler Grisham."

Let's see:

1) They drafted two linebackers who aren't ready to play their positions but released special teams standout Patrick Bailey simply because they wanted to keep the affletes on the roster for the future, even though it seems as if they are admitting both blacks can't do much to contribute this year, including special teams play.

2) It's O.K. for an undersized black to make the team, but not white men.

3) They could keep Arnaz Battle who doesn't do anything but play special teams yet the same didn't hold true for Patrick Bailey.

4) Tyler Grisham is described as "Wes Welker like" but can't make the roster in front of rookies like Sanders and Brown who've proven nothing so far.

Patrick Bailey did a damn good job as the white special teams demon but they replaced him with a more expensive black in Arnaz Battle.

Tyler Grisham could be a very good 3rd receiver, if given the opportunity, but the Steelers couldn't wait in the offseason to bring in Battle, Randle-El, Sanders and Brown to say, "Hey, sorry, but there's no place for Grisham anymore."

DISGUSTING

WR Tyler Grisham and DL Steve McClendon are the two white men on the practice squad.

This team is going to regret letting Patrick Bailey go elsewhere.

And their all-black QB contingent....

Deadlift: Thanks for pointing that out. I was sure it was a white guy who was on their practice squad last year.

So it looks like the final tally is 9 white men on the 53-man roster til Big Ben gets back and only one more with Grisham on the practice squad.

Mike Tomlin is an idiot.

Coach Mike Tomlin refused to "back himself into a corner" and guarantee
that Ben Roethlisberger would start for the Steelers as soon as his
four-game suspension is up.
<div> "I'm
going to dodge that one and not artfully," said Tomlin. Interim
quarterback Dennis Dixon couldn't even beat out Byron Leftwich. He
would have to play out of his mind to get Tomlin to even consider
benching Roethlisberger in Week 6 after the Steelers' bye. This will be
a non-issue in October.

We all now he'd love to follow in Raheem Morris footsteps and have a black qb starting for his team. It's too bad all the black qb's suck and it will never happen.

The team already voted to take away Ben's captain status. With only 9 white players on the roster, it is not a mystery on who probably voted against Big Ben.... Raheem and Tomlin can have their all black teams, and I will enjoy watching them lose

The Onion's take "

Weakness: Roethlisberger has lost considerable respect in his own
locker room and throughout the league because he was not convicted of a
crime"Edited by: snow

I'm so excited about the Steelers opening up with Dennis Dixon at QB!

I can't wait to see a starting lineup on offense with TE Heath Miller as the only white man!

And DEs Aaron Smith and Brett Keisel getting another season before Tomlin and Colbert send 'em packing!

I'm so excited, in fact, that I think I'll mow grass tomorrow morning and spend the afternoon watching it grow back.

Brilliant! But I always found it more fun to paint stick figures on my walls and watch them dry! My wife isn't too thrilled about my habit though.

Former Steeler's coach Bill Cowher was one of the main proponents of the caste system for many years after he got into the league. Entering his fourth year as the Steeler's head coach, Mike Tomlin is already well on his way to making the Steelers one of the blackest teams in the league this year and he makes Cowher look white friendly. This year's version has just 9 white players on it to start the year.

QB Ben Roethlisberger, one of the best in the league, is suspended for the first four games of the year for a crime he was never charged for. Despite making the Steelers contenders year in and year out, and that their favorite athletes like Santonio Holmes do things worse then this, this incident sent him over the edge in the eyes of the Steeler drunk white fans, who now hate and revile him.

Heath MIller, out of Virginia, is one of the better players in the league at his position. He can block and catch very well. Matt Spaeth out of Minnesota is the other white Tight End, as the team decided to release Sean McHugh. Marshall grad Doug Legursky is the only other white offensive lineman on the roster. The Steelers released starting center Justin Hartwig and backup Guard Kraig Urbik, probably for their lack of melanin.

Aaron Smith, now in his 13th season, remains a key cog in the Steelers defense. He plays at a Pro Bowl level when healthy, but he still doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Whenever Smith gets injured, the run defense struggles mightily. Brett Keisel is a solid starter at the other end spot. Chris Hoke is the athletic backup nose tackle to obese Casey Hampton. Hoke usually out performs Hampton when given a chance, but of course Hampton remains the starter. With the Steelers stockpiling black linebackers, there wasn't any room on the roster for special teams demon Patrick Baily this year.

With all the white D-Linemen on the wrong side of thirty, and not a single young white player on the roster, Mike Tomlin will be running away with the blackest team of the year award for years now.

Number of White Starters: 3 (4 When Ben gets back.)

Number of White Players on the Roster: 9(10 when Ben gets back.)

Grade: F-
