Penn State started 12 whites last year. These are the projected starters for 2010.

RT-Lou Eliades
WR-Brett Brackett
WR-Graham Zug
TE-Andrew Szczerba
Center-Doug Klopacz
RG-Steven Wisniewski

ILB-Chris Colsanti
OLB-Nate Stupar
Safety-Nick Sukay
Safety-Drew Astorino

With the updated information it looks like 10 white starters this year as of now.. Astorino is very fast(runs in 4.4 range) and is a top safety for the 2012 NFL draft.

Just a couple of things on Penn State. I was looking at their old depth chart, and it looks like Mike Zordich is going to be starting at the other OLB position, giving the Nittany Lions a snow patrol.

I think Penn State is having an open QB competition for QB this year, and Matt McGloin has a good chance IMO to start ahead of the black quarterbacks.

One last thing: look out for Senior WR Brett Brackett to start this year.

What happened to LG Matt Stankiewitch? I know he broke into the starting line-up during last season.

Also, Penn State actually brought in quite a few Whites in their last 2-3 recruiting classes, so I would expect a number of Whites to see the field even if they don't start. We'll see..

Yeah, Matt should be starting at RG if I remember right. Thanks for reminding me about him, Deadlift.

To add to what I was saying earlier... Micheal Mauti was projected (on this site) as a starting linebacker last year, but he tore his ACL before the season started.

I'm not totally sure if he would have started or not - because it seems like Penn State has a "seniority" system in their determination of who starts.

I'm guessing that Mauti is still in Happy Valley. It seems like they have too many White LBs....

Robert Bolden gets the start today for Penn State, and Joe Pa's love affair with medicore afflete QB's continues. Penn State is a team that I still despise even though they are close to a half white team.

Also, I believe we now have two starting white WR's Brett Brackett and Graham Zug.

Alright! That's the kind of change I can live with.

Paterno thinks being "hip" means giving one black QB after another a chance while never playing a White at RB. It's nice to still see White WRs and safeties on Penn State, but Paterno's recruiting area is overwhelmingly White. State College is very rural and very White, as is most of Pennsylvania, and few blacks from the inner city want to go there. Additionally the Cultural Marxist media has branded Penn State as "racist" based on one or two emails and scrawls, probably perpetrated by blacks or jews, as most "hate crimes" on college campuses are hoaxes.

If Paterno coached in the SEC his teams would be as black as any of them. Edited by: Don Wassall

Don, I imagine you are right. Some here thought Urban Meyer would be more fair to Whites in Florida based on his teams at Utah. It didn't happen though, and for the same reason. The way Penn State keeps starting black QBs is a shame. It seems that once many programs start 2 or so in a row they tend to stay with black QBs, no matter how bad they are. It makes no sense, except when you factor in the Caste System.

UPDATE on starters:

NO snow patrol.. Stupar and Colasanti are listed as starters, and an African (Senior) named Bani is the other 'backer.

Stefen Wisniewski is listed as the starting (right) guard. Doug Klopacz is the starting Center. Lou Eliades (Greek or something else?) is the starting Right Tackle.

Mike Zordich, who had several off-field problems, is now a fullback along with Joe Suhey.

Michael Mauti is healthy, and he was credited with 4 tackles in their Game against Youngstown State. He is Stupar's back-up. It's possible that Mauti may eventually become the starter.

Chris Colasanti, the Senior starter, had 13 tackles against YSU. Mike Yancich is his back-up and Glenn Carson is 3rd-string, both are White.

I hope this clears things up...

Well, I guess I should have held up on my enthusiasm. Still, its nice to see 2 White WRs.

Hey I can live with black QBs as long as their targets are white WRs. You cannot have it both ways all the time. You have to look on the bright side of things and as long as Joe Pa keeps using white WRs then I am fine with his QB situations.

Well, Matt McGloin started at QB for PSU the last two weeks, so I think he should be listed as a starter here.

Robert Bolden (black) started against Northwestern, and the announcers' said it was partly because Joe Paterno believes that a player shouldn't lose his starting spot because of an injury.

To be accurate, they should have added "or a felony arrest." Joe's become quite the coddler of affletes in his dotage.

Joe was really slow to the take during his interview with a BSPN field reporter right after the game. I think his age is finally catching up with him. I don't think he'll be coaching next year.

There are a ton of great White High School QB prospects in PA but I think Joe has been trying to get another Terrell "Everybody Murders People" Pryor clone since he lost out on him to Ohio State a few years ago. Hopefully, the next coach won't have the same philosophy.

Paterno's fondness for black quarterbacks seems to be his way ofshowing his criticsthat he's still "relevant" as he's been taking shots about his age for the past 15 years.
Paterno also echoed Fisher DeBerry's comments of a few years ago about blacks being better football players because they're faster. There's a ton of great White high school running backs in Pennsylvaniaas well, but Penn State won't recruit them. Today, John Cappelletti would be a walk-on 8th string tailback for JoePa, or more likely a fullback or linebacker. Edited by: Don Wassall

Going to go out of my way tomorrow to watch the new improved Nitanny Lions tomorrow, amazing what happens when the coach has a paradigm shift.

QB Bolden to transfer.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5982537

Quarterback Rob Bolden will seek a transfer from Penn State, his father told multiple media outlets Sunday.

Robert Bolden Sr. told the website Lions247.com that his son has informed the Nittany Lions coaches of his intentions.

"They're not looking for him to leave, they don't want him to
leave, but he no longer wants to play at Penn State," Bolden Sr. said.
"He's not happy at Penn State currently. If it was up to me, he
definitely [would leave], without a doubt. He's definitely made it known
that he does not want to be there anymore."

A message left for a Penn State spokesman was not immediately returned.

Bolden started eight games this season for the Nittany Lions and
became the first true freshman to start a season opener for Penn State
in 100 years. But he missed a game after suffering a concussion Oct. 23
against Minnesota and then lost the starting job to sophomore Matt McGloin down the stretch.

Penn State coach Joe Paterno earlier Sunday lamented not getting
Bolden more playing time. Penn State stuck with McGloin throughout
Saturday's Outback Bowl loss to Florida, in which McGloin threw five
interceptions.

Bolden's father told the Altoona Mirror that Rob not playing in
the bowl game finalized the decision to transfer. The younger Bolden
wants to move to an FBS program.
