CONGRATS to Northern Iowa!! In the Duke thread a few weeks ago I was venting off a little steam..hoping for a Duke/No. Iowa Championship after they won their conference tournament; knowing it wasn't totally realistic...WOW! Hope stays alive another week!

Hoping BYU can bounce back down by 10...

<div>Typical overly done dramatics by a black.  They're the masters of crying after losses, curling motionless into the fetal position, or just remaining on the bench staring blankly into space.</div>[/QUOTE]

Kind of like when blacks tweak an ankle or fall hard. They writhe in unimagined agony as if they've just been hit by a car. Five minutes later they are back on the field/court jumping up and down like retards.

well, at least we know the Idiot/Liar-in-Chief is spending his time wisely ... Obama picked 13 of 16 games correctly on Friday.

so glad he has enough time away from anally raping America with his health care phallus to enjoy some hardwood action. sorry, but it had to be said!

I'd rather have Obongo picking games than attempting to "run" the country.

Anyway, BYU is down 6 at the 10 minute mark. With the way BYU is getting raped, I'd be shocked to see them win. I saw that foul also Jimmy, complete BS.

and, even as i was typing my previous post, Fredette "commits a foul" by getting hit in the nose with a flailing KSU elbow. according to the commentator, he "was reaching in." with his face, apparently.

Good lord, I can't stand all the shots of K-State's coach and all of the drooling of the affletic Wildcats. Will BYU ever have a foul called their way?

No doubt that Kentucky will be getting the same kind of man-love.

It's all part of their "Look at me!, Look at me!" mentality. That's also why they like to wear "bling", including gold teeth, diamond stud earrings, saggy pants and baseball caps off to the side.

A bunch
of "baby boys" and drama queens.

Frank Martin is another rabidly racist, caste coach from the looks of it. Even as I typed this, the "announcers" showed his many "faces" throughout the game. Good grief, I think the media found their new lovechild this side of Lebron and Tiger.

BYU is getting killed on the glass. KSU is getting a ton of offensive rebounds. combined with the foul disparity, it's not looking good for the Cougars ...

ball game. it is a tough loss to take for us BYU fans, but overall the day was excellent. hopefully, our men will continue to play well in the Tourney.

and, finally, here's to a great season for BYU! it was their first time to advance past the first round since 1987, if i recall correctly.

Well BYU lost but there is some good news. He may not be Jimmy Chitwood but Jimmy Fredette will be back next season. He had 21 points in the loss but you could see the hunger in this kids eyes. Fredette is the 3rd all time leading scorer in New York History! He is in some pretty good company. This kid can play at any level and BYU will be back strong next season. Congrats to the Cougars on a very nice season.

I'll chime in with just about every poster that is commenting on this NCAA tourney. This is about the most white friendly tourney I can remember in a loooong time. Not only are majority white teams winning, it's WHO they are beating. EX: Basically all white Cornell beating coal black Temple and all-white St Mary's ringing up coal black Villanova. Plus, Georgetown went down in Round One. A lot of people who think American whites can't play ball just need to take a pill of "shut the hell up" based on these results. GAME ON!

Somebody please locate a picture of that Kansas bruva bawling after the game. I'd like to send it to all the sports bloggers who criticized Tebow after the SEC Championship game.

Funny thing. I've been observing sports for some 50 years now. I can't recall offhand seeing a big-name white athlete crying as Tebow did after the loss to Alabama. I have seen black athletes do it.
One of the most famous pictures I have ever seen of this was the Georgetown guard being consoled by John Thompson after he threw away an inbound pass that cost Georgetown a national championship. It was on the cover of SI. It's nice to see the upsets by the mid-majors. Edited by: white is right

The only losses we've had this year have been Notre Dame, BYU (2nd round), and Vandy. Not bad, very white friendly tourney this year. We're guaranteed another white team advancing between Wisconsin and Cornell. Also Purdue, Gonzaga, and Duke can all advance tommorow as well.

That's all part of the over-the-top, obnoxious M.O. of the affletes. The post-loss dramatics are akin to their feigning injuries after being beaten on a play (football & hoops especially). I've seen in countless times (personally/when playing & as a spectator, etc.). All of the above falls into the trusty "TNB" category...yo!

Rece Davis at Espn said that if you saw UNI and Kansas walk into a gym together, you would never think that UNI could compete against Kansas. Talk about stereotyping. Is Rece a "racist"?

Jack Lambert;

Gonzaga which has the deserved reputation of very white friendly is not white friendly this year. They only have one white who gets serious minutes Matt Bouldin who is their leader scorer. They start 4 blacks : Robert Sucre, Elias Harris, Steven Gray, and Demetri Goodson.

If Omar Samhan was an afflete ,he would be considered a lottery pick in this year's NBA draft. He scored 32 points going 13-16 against a top ten team yesterday. He averaged a double double 21.2 p/g, 11 rebound/g and 3 blocks per game.

Their second leading scorer Mickey McConnell scored 26 in West Coast Conference Championship game against Gonzaga, 23 against Richmond in the opening round of March Madness and 15 points yesterday.

OK, Samhan's Irish-Egyptian. Got a picture of him?

I follow 'Nova only because I went to grad school there in the mid-'80s* (as did my dad when I was in diapers). Which is why I rooted for 'Nova during their march to the D-IA FB title. That said, I appreciate a one-black team like St. Mary's breaking into the Sweet 16.

Who on CF has categorically sacrificed loyalty to one's alma mater to root for white teams?

*I attended the victory rally at Philly's City Hall the day after the Wildcats upset Ewing and G-town in the 1985 final. But I don't get too giddy at the memory any more.

I went to Syracuse for undergrad but I find it very tough to root for them anymore becuase Boeheim is usually so non-white friendly. A few years ago (maybe last year?) they weren't so bad as the had 3 whites who played alot -- Devendorf, Rautins, and Onongut. This year they still have Rautins, but that's it. These days I always root for Notre Dame over them. And I was hoping Vermont could pull another upset over the Cuse like they did a few years ago, but it wasn't to be.

That being said, this has been an outstanding tournament for our guys so far.

Remember that troll thousandknives who said Northern Iowa wasn't a good team and that they wouldn't win a single game in the tournament

Yes I remember that fool/tool. Northern Iowa got out the longknives for thousandknives. What a great tournament so far.

Cornell just destroyed Wisconsin. This team is very talented just like Northern Iowa. What a game by the big red! I'm getting ready to watch Duke later on today. That is going to be a high scoring game. California has a very good team. They won the Pac Ten so Duke needs to be ready. Go Blue Devils!
