So far, we have had three nearly all-white teams in St. Mary's, No. Iowa, and Cornell all advance to the 2nd round, with the Gaels going to the Sweet 16! Plus other white friendly teams in Purdue, Kansas, Gonzaga, BYU, Butler, and Wisconsin all advanced. So far, I think we are having a great tournament.

I'm sure if some of my friends were watching that game, they'll no doubt be shocked that a bunch of unathletic white guys can be a nearly-all black, athletic team like Villanova.

Don't forget Duke! Omar Samhan was amazing in the low post, unstoppable! He's Irish/Egyptian and I don't think I have ever heard of that unique combination before. The St. Mary Gaels stands for Irish-Warriors and that's what they looked like today and I hope they go all the way to the regional finals(elite eight) and meet Duke as they are in the same bracket. Awesome tournament so far except for Notre Dame going down but you can't win them all.

This is the best NCAA basketball tournament since I became aware of CF in early 2005. Lots of white and white-friendly teams still alive and playing well!

Yes - St. Mary's was quite a surprise.

It's a pleasure watching Northern Iowa against Kansas. At times, there are 7-8 white guys on the floor all at once. Great wins today by St. Mary's and Butler against virtually all-black squads. I would be great to get to the Elite 8 and have almost all "white unfriendly" teams booted.

Northern Iowa is up by 11 with 10 minutes left in the game.

Nice Alley-oop by Northern Iowa!

The announcer merely called it a "nice offensive play." No mention of Cook's "athleticism."

I know. It's a joke. All they do is rave about Kansas and their athleticism even though Norther Iowa is just as good in that department. They have been leading most of the game. Come on guys. Hang on. I love Northern Iowa!

It looks good. Make your free throws and it's over. What a day for our teams and for Wladimir Klitschko!

Remember that troll thousandknives who said Northern Iowa wasn't a good team and that they wouldn't win a single game in the tournament

Northern Iowa upsets the Jayhawks, 69-67. Once again, not bad for a team full of unathletic white guys.

Yeah Blue Devils, where are you at now, thousandknives?

This is the most interested I've been since Christian Laettner was playing for Duke. I've hardly watched any basketball the past few years; I've been content just to mostly read the posts in the BB sections here. Maybe this tournament will spark a lasting resurgence of interest.

Was glad to see the Northern Iowa-Kansas game fairly officiated. They let them play and the better team won.

It certainly has been! I've waiting for the Klitschko fight and March Madness for sometime, and the results are astounding. Congrats to Klitschko and our white-friendly NCAA teams!

I'm praying for Duke to win it all!

I was trying to think of that troll's name the whole second half.

I agree Don. What a tournament! Finally our teams are catching some breaks. Although I still think Kansas got a few more calls. It was better officiated than previous years. These kids can play. Kansas won't sleep for a week! Lol.

Nice, we get two virtually all-white teams advancing to the Sweet 16 with Duke, Gonzaga, Wisconsin/Cornell, and Purdue still to play. Butler, who plays a fair amount of whites, also advances today.

Somebody please locate a picture of that Kansas bruva bawling after the game. I'd like to send it to all the sports bloggers who criticized Tebow after the SEC Championship game.

Typical overly done dramatics by a black. They're the masters of crying after losses, curling motionless into the fetal position, or just remaining on the bench staring blankly into space. You lost, everyone knows you're disappointed, get off the field of play and leave the stage to the winners.Edited by: Don Wassall

Ok guys. Let's root on Jimmy and the Byu Cougars. This is a huge game and it will be hardly fought. I really want to see them win. Jimmy Fredette is one of the top 5 players in the whole country! Go Cougs!Edited by: white lightning

Funny thing. I've been observing sports for some 50 years now. I can't recall offhand seeing a big-name white athlete crying as Tebow did after the loss to Alabama. I have seen black athletes do it.

Whoever's directing the BYU-Kansas State game has a humongous homoerotic mancrush on Kansas State's coach. Countless shots of him, while BYU's coach is almost never shown.

'twas a GREAT win by Northern Iowa. those tough White kids managed to not allow Kansas' physical play (and the officials swallowing their whistles) down the stretch get in their heads. UNI played their game and took it to the top seed in the whole Tourney. awesome!

but it was "funny," how none of UNI's players had any affleticism ... this, despite the elder Koch brother repeatedly dunking on black heads like some sort ofprescriptionacne medication.

earlier in the day, Saint Mary's played beautiful basketball as they controlled the "very affletic" Villanova. the commentators kept talking about how the Gaels played old school basketball ... "it's almost impossible to double team their big man inside, becauseeveryone can shoot and pass and they can all hit the three ..." wow! what a unique idea. basketball players who are unselfish and can actually knock down a jump shot. no wonder they "look like aEuroleague team."
smiley2.gif

now, we're watching BYU get physically assaulted by Kansas State. it's almost like watching a prison rape on some of these no-calls. i mean, seriously. BYU players are getting shoved out of bounds and there's no foul. grabbed from behind and called for travelling. one BYU player was even called for the foul after he got elbowed in the face. *whistle!* foul on BYU's face! i mean, WTF?!?!

K-State is one of the most foul-committing teams in the country, while BYU is known for not committing many fouls ... yet, BYU isn't even in the bonus until 1:29 left in the half? meanwhile, K-State had been in the double-bonus for the last 7-8 minutes because BYU gets called for a foul if they get anywhere near a KSU player. *growls* this seems to happen so often ... which is why the UNI win was so big, in my opinion.
