Speaking of affletes the University of Memphis freshmen are a bunch of skinny undersized waifs.
Most of the recent freshman "stars" have been skinny assed punks.
Or fatties like Tiny Gallon or Renardo Sidney.
I think many Division 1 basketball players can't play basketball.
Mostly they play street ball. They do that because they can't shoot.

Good post! Here's the production from the "great" Derrick Nix: http://espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=46227

The Spartans' - Draymond Green - is chunky as well.. but he's a solid player.

EDIT: SEC basketball is pretty weak, and I don't see many giant affletes.. LSU has really struggled this year. Alabama appears to be nothing-special. Tennessee has been struggling. Georgia might be a little better than previous years. I think that South Carolina has lost to some "nobodies." The SEC is pretty much Kentucky and Florida (and Tennessee should be able to do damage in the weak league).

True frosh Alex Kirk, of New Mexico, has excellent length.. he's a "big kid" for sure. I think his frame is kind of comparable to that of Minnesota's Colton Iverson.

http://espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=51164

He's been a solid rebounder and has blocked some shots. Looks like he gets into "White Man's Foul Trouble" - though. Limited shot-attempts as well.

So, I saw right now that Jon Kreft is on Florida State.. he of the "past drug problems."

He no doubt got punished more because he's WHITE! In the same game, the Caste-heads aren't saying anything negative about thug LaceDarius Dunn..

Manute Bol's son, Madut, is only 6-9 and he doesn't play much for Southern U.

Back to Tiny Gallon.. yeah, he left OU after last season, another "one-and-done".. apparently he was drafted in the 2nd Round by Milwaukee and then cut. Then Boston picked him up and then cut him:

http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/celtics/post/_/id/4677394/cs-officially-waive-three

The Celtics officially announced the release of Stephane Lasme, Mario West, and Tiny Gallon Thursday afternoon.

The moves trims Boston's roster to the 15-player maximum well in advance of Tuesday's season-opener against the Miami Heat.

Read on for the team's full press release, or hop HERE to read more on Lasme's expected signing with the Maine Red Claws (where Gallon could land as well).

BOSTON, MA â€" The Boston Celtics announced today that they have waived forwards Stephane Lasme, Keith "Tiny"Â￾ Gallon, and guard Mario West. The Celtics roster now stands at 15.

Lasme, a 6'8"Â￾ 215 lbs forward, averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game during the 2010 preseason for the Celtics. He scored a preseason high of 12 points against Philadelphia on October 6.

West, a 6'5"Â￾ 210 lbs guard, appeared in all eight preseason games for the Celtics averaging 0.7 points and 0.7 rebounds in 7.3 minutes per game.

Gallon, a 6'9"Â￾ 290 lbs forward, was signed by the Celtics on October 19 and dressed for the game against New Jersey on October 20.

better late than never, man.
on another note, there are several teams playing tonight that have athletic White players who are fun to watch. at 6:00 pm Central time on ESPNU, Florida plays against a cupcake. the Gators have the very athletic wing Chandler Parsons, who at 6-10 actually leads the team in assists. the versatile Parsons is still very, very raw from a skill standpoint, but he is very smooth and long and has tremendous upside. he is second on the team in rebounding at almost 6 per game, and averages just a decimal point below 10 points-per-game.

they also have 6-10 sophomore Erik Murphy, who has terrific potential.

meanwhile, also at 6:00 pm Central on ESPN2, Minnesota plays a horde of talented White players from Wisconsin. led by 6-10 senior forward Jon Leuer, the Badgers routinely start 4 White players.

an All-American candidate, Leuer is a terrific talent, leading the Badgers in scoring (nearly 20 ppg) andrebounding (over 7 rpg), shoots over 50% from the field, 50% from 3-point range, and nearly 80% from the charity stripe, and he also has 26 assists to just 19 turnovers. his best move is a pull-up midrange jumper off the dribble, but he can do nearly anything you ask him to do on the floor. he is incredibly smooth, can handle the ball on the perimeter, and his only real negative is that he's not an elite leaper (although he's a very capable dunker).

for Minnesota, their best player is 6-4 senior guard Blake Hoffarber. virtually everything good for the Gophers runs through Hoffarber. he is the team's leading scorer and the leading playmaker, as he already has 60 assists this season. heis a dangerous 3-point shooter, has a 3-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, and is a terrific pickpocket, with20 steals on the year.

later on, North Carolina's athletic 7-foot forwardTyler Zeller takes center stage. finally healthy, Zeller has emerged as the Tarheels' leading scorer. unike many scorers, Zeller is very efficient with his touches (he also leads the team in field goal and free throw percentage). he is also second on the team in rebounds, blocked shots, and steals.

How many of these starting five for Louisville are European American?

you need to read a bit more carefully, mate. veritas' post clearly states those are the 5 White players who get minutes for Louisville, not the 5 starters.

but to answer your question, ofhis aforementioned White Louisville players, Marra is the only regular starter. Kuric has started 4 times this season, though.

i made a mistake in my comments two posts up. Florida's cupcake game is tonight, not last night. i read the schedule wrong.

additionally regarding last night's games ... i wonder what the Minnesota fan base thinks about Tubby Smith's somalian-gophers dropping a game to the White Badgers of Wisconsin. why do i ask? because Tubby's black Minnesotans got their butts beat by a bunch of White Minnesotans wearing Wisconsin jerseys. Tubby Smith doesn't recruit White players, you see. so he only brings in black kids from Minnesota.

meanwhile,4 of the top 8 players in Wisconsin's rotation come from Minnesota. 3 come from Wisconsin. and 6 of the top7 Badgers (including 4 starters) are White players. but there's not a race-based pattern in recruiting by Tubby Smith. nope, he recruits purely on ability!

*****************************************

thereare acouple ofcaste matchups tonight at 6:00 pm central time.

Duke takes on NC State on ESPNU, and Notre Dame plays Georgetown on ESPN2. the top two players for Notre Dame are White athletes: Tim Abromaitis and Ben Hansbrough. Abromaitis will have a chance to play pro ball for a living, but likely not in the NBA. Notre Dame plays 4 White athletes in their 7-man rotation.

Duke typically starts 3 White athletes, and if you don't know about the super-leaping Plumlee brothers by now you've just not been paying attention. Kyle Singler gets much-deserved hype as a terrific player and All-American candidate. the guy you may not know a lot about is Ryan Kelly. the 6-11 power forward actually won the McDonald's All-American 3-point shootout at 6-10. he only gets about 15 minutes-per-game for the Blue Devils, but he is second on the team in blocked shots and is shooting over 51% from the floor, 53% from 3-point range, and 83% from the free throw line. i'd like to see his minutes go up, but he's in a crunch with the aforementioned talented trio.Edited by: Jimmy Chitwood

This is a great example of the lunacy of the caste system. All in all great post Jimmy C.

JC you're on a roll with posts lately man! You hit that right on the head. I too have noticed that Bo Ryan has pretty much gone in at will and pick the top white Minnesotans and bring them to play great team basketball in Madison. I love watching Wisconsin play, they do not receive enough respect.(must have something to do with the racial make up of their team).

Notre Dame pulverizes Goergetown 69-55!
smiley32.gif

Very nice game from both Abromaitis (20 points) and Hansbrough (17 points), even Scott Martin played well (11 points). Nate Lubick had 5 points for the Hoyas. I count FOUR White-led teams tearing it up in the NCAA at the moment...

Notre Dame
BYU
Duke
Wisconsin

... looking good!

i like Scott Martin. his career was really stunted by a severe knee injury, and he still hasn't fully recovered. as solid as he is now, just imagine what he could do if he was close to 100%.

*******************************

as for White-led teams ... most people don't know about them because they play way out West (which means very late at night), but going into tonight's game against Mississippi State, the St. Mary's Gaels are looking strong.

Sweet 16 qualifiers in last year's NCAA Tourney, the Gaels have started out with a 10-2 record. 4 of the top 5 players in the rotation (although only 3 regular starters) are White athletes, led by outstanding point guard Mickey McConnell. he's deadly from DEEP and is a surgeon passing the ball. the other 3 White players who are usually on the court (often with all four on the floor at the same time for long stretches) are Australians: Matthew Dellavedova, Clint Steindl, and thehigh-rising but very raw Mitchell Young.

don't sleep on the Gaels, as they are afavorite to win the WCC and likelywill make another run in the NCAA Tourney.

Will Notre Dame "fade" - though? They usually seem to fade in the latter part of their Big East schedule.

I like Jack Cooley.. he's athletic.Edited by: Deadlift

Klay Thompson (IMHO) has to be the best White American wing-player (SG-SF) in a while. I honestly haven't seen him play, but judging his numbers (22.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 steals) he clearly has mad talent. He's got great size (6'6) for his position, solid ball-handling, MAD HOPS, plays solid defense. I might be wrong on this, but he could the American version of Manu Ginobili.

From previous posts, I thought that you knew that Klay is Mychale Thompson's son?

He has a negro skull, and I believe he has grown his hair out just like Blake Griffin has. I found it "comical" how WSUs whole offense (ala Steph Curry, and perhaps Austin Rivers' when he gets to Duke?) was built around him as a true frosh.. it didn't quite workout for WSU. Simply put, few guys are "monsters" right away, but WSU didn't get that memo. Basketball is also a TEAM game, and sometimes the MSM forgets that. Look at Kobe killing the Lakers' and Gasol getting very limited shot-attempts.

I don't think Washington State has made the Big Dance the last 2-years with Thompson, but, of course, I think they have a shot this year (in a non-dominant PAC-10), but they just lost to UCLA.. 80-71.

I think I gave a solid analysis of how "the System" works.. believe me, I'm not hatin' - but simply keepin' it real. It's a fact, that, for instance, Steph Curry's Davidson failed to win their Conference Tourny and missed the Big Dance in his final year there. The MSM sobbed about that.

Duke had Gerald Henderson and DeMarcus (all-world scorer from the Cali preps), and they couldn't do jack in the Big Dance. OU had Blake Griffin for 2-years, and a few other good supporting players, and they couldn't get over-the-hump in the Dance. Now, no one said anything about Washington State and the Dance, but I'm saying that if they make it this year, I don't expect them to do much damage. And, Washington State hasn't been listed on this site as currently being White-friendly.. I think they only play one or two Whites. Inexcusable.

P.S. -- When someone is made into "the man" on offense, especially as a true frosh, there's a good chance that they are a hybrid. Whites can only have J.J. Redick, you know, and that's it... and the White genepool struggled mightily to churn-out that token "White freak." It will be another 1,000 years before another can come along....

you are correct about WSU having fallen hard the last couple of years. they lost in the first round of the NIT two years ago, and didn't even qualify for it (much less the NCAA Tourney) last year.

what's "weird" about the very black (including the light-skinned mulattoThompson) Washington State team is that in 2007-08, they had arguably the best year in school history. why is this weird? well, 7 of WSU's top 8 players were White (if you count the half-Hawaiian point guard Derrick Lowe).

so what happened with all that success wrought by White athletes? the program started recruiting "real" talent ... and you see what has been the result.

Nice snippet from Jason King in regards to OK State's Keiton Page, who is largely responsible for the great start the Cowboys have had this year:

WHO'S HOT?
<B id=yui_3_2_0_1_129372849493730>Keiton Page, Oklahoma State[/B] â€" The junior shooting guard has been one of the biggest reasons for the Cowboys' 11-1 start. Page is averaging 15.8 points on the season â€" and 22 in his last three games. Page has made 11 of his last 24 shots from beyond the arc.
