During the Jim Tressel era you can pretty much count on OSU have 10-12 white starters. This year it's 11(now its 10). I still wish Tressel would give some white DBs a chance Ohio St hasn't had one starting since Dustin Fox.

OFFENSE:

FB- Zach Boren
WR- Dane Sanzenbacher
TE- Jake Ballard
OT- Andrew Miller
OG- Justin Boren (the highly touted Michigan transfer)
C- Mike Brewster
OT- Jim Cordle

DEFENSE:

DT- Dexter Larimore
OLB- Ross Homan
OLB- Austin Spitler

OLB- Tyler Moeller (Injured out for season)

Ohio State likes to rotate their D-Line a lot during games so DE Nathan Williams will see a lot of time as will DTs Dexter Larimore and Garrett Goebel. Edited by: whiteCB

Nice that is good to see from Ohio State. Now, if Tressel would just stop starting Pryor. Unless they have 4 lbs, it looks like Ohio State has a snow patrol here.

I can't remember if they use 4 lbs or not. But nice to see a white WR starting for Tressel, but unless Pryor starts throwing, he won't get many looks.

i will say that terrelle pryor is the only black qb i enjoy watching. he is a great athelete for a 6"6 guy. However, like most black qbs he cant throw the ball. If Ohio state was smart they would put him at wide reciever and get a white qb with a strong arm and good pocket presence. Edited by: green fire317

Ohio St runs a 4-3 so yes we do have a Big Ten SNOW PATROL on our hands!

OSU's first since that 2005 trio of Hawk, Carpenter, and Schlegel.

Pryor needs to straighten up those loopy throws he has so Dane Sanzenbacher can put up some good stats. The defensive backs have enough time to adjust to by the time it comes down, some of his throws look like punts. I dont know if the run game will be as strong this year so he might have to throw more because if he is the only consistent running threat and cant throw, teams will shut him down. they probably should put him at WR with a few gimmick plays taking direct snaps.

Ohio state always seems to have good white linebackers playing for them. Probably the best one ever, who didn't pan out in the NFL, was Andy Katzenmoyer. Noone had more ability than this guy. He was a freak athlete. It's terrible he never lived up to his potential.

I saw Moeller in the spring game. Kid is a stud. Don't forget about Stoneburner as a TE/WR

LOL...yeah as soon as I saw you guys putting up team previews for the upcoming season I had to do Ohio State. There was no research necessary, all upstairs.

As I did too Mike. Moeller is talented. He's a little undersized (has played a lil safety) but makes up for it with defensive back like speed, tenacious tackling, and hard hitting. Player(soph) to keep an eye on, reminds me of Hawk.

I have suggested switching Pryor to wr, as that was the only position where he did anything in the bowl game against texas. Unfortunately his two extremely poor performances against michigan and texas in the final two games will do nothing to change the minds of delusional buckeye fans who think Pryor is in the same league as Tebow.
White LB Tyler Moeller will miss season from head injury

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio State coach Jim Tressel says linebacker Tyler Moeller will miss the season.

The fourth-year junior from Cincinnati injured his head when
it hit the floor during a family trip in Florida about two weeks ago. A
hospital spokesman says Moeller was released Monday from the Ohio State
University Medical Center.

Moeller, a junior, was expected to start at outside linebacker.

Tressel said Monday he hopes Moeller returns for the 2010 season, but gave no details of the injury.

Receiver
Ray Small has been sitting out preseason camp due to academic issues,
but his father says he's due to rejoin the team any day.http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/9923310/OSU's-Moeller-to-miss-season-after-hitting-head

Of course the one white player on Ohio St that I knew would be a guy to watch out for gets hurt and is out for the season. However, that is petty compared to the nature of the serious head injury suffered by Tyler. I guess Tyler was ona family vacation in Florida when on the first night of the trip out at a restaurant he gets blind sided with a vicious punch. Moeller's head hit an object and split his head wide open. Three days later he had surgery at OSU's medical hospital to drain blood leaking into his brain. Talk about a serious incident. He's lucky to be "fine" now but here's a link showing a picture of the horrific wound:

ouch!

WhiteCB, it looks like there's a few changes in the latest Buckeye depth chart. Unfortunately on defense to replace Moeller they have Brian Rolle (black) listed as starter at MLB, and Austin Spitler moved to Outside. Osu has changed their LB corp midseason in the past, and usually it's beneficial to the white players so we'll see.

They now have Dexter Larimore starting over Denlinger at DT, but that doesn't change the number of white starters. Either way, this all adds up to only 3 white starters on the D.

Zach Boren, the younger brother of LG Justin Boren, is listed as starter at FB, again a change that doesn't affect the number of white starters.

Anyway, this all puts OSU with one less white starter and in the 10 "close, but no cigar" category. I have a feeling though that sometime mid season that the number could wind up going back to 11 due to changes at LB.

With a QB like this, I could care less about Ohio State. From the blog of James Edwards.

Murder ain't no thang; everbody be doin' it, and they deserve a second chance and crap.

Check it out:

Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor had Michael Vick's last
name written in his eye black sticker under one eye, and his sister's
name written under the other. What grabbed more attention was Pryor's
words on Vick after the game. It left some reporters scratching their
heads.

"I just feel that he made his mistake, and I think he needs more
support,"Â￾ Pryor said. "Not everybody is a perfect person in the world. Everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever.
I just feel that people need to give him a chance. I always looked up
to Mike Vick, and I always will. I still think he's one of the best
quarterbacks. I love Mike Vick. I look up to him a lot."Â￾

And then they wonder why nobody wants to live around blacks?

So how long is OSU going to suffer through having Pryor at the helm? He is grossly incompetent now and doesn't show any sign that he can get better. They would have won tonight with any mediocre quarterback in his place. They have almost three more seasons until he loses his eligibility. That's a scary thought for Buckeye fans.

Pryor reminds mea lot of Vince Young, and that's not a compliment. He probably has the same walnut-sized brain too,as the comments he made about Michael Vick abovethat Col. Reb linked to illustrate.

USC is far from a white friendly program, but I was glad to see them win, given the huge difference between their white freshman QB, who was clutch in an extremely pressure-filled situation at the end of the game as hemarched his team down the field, and theincompetent Pryor, who immediately and predictably stalled out his offense after USC scored.

Pryor is an "athlete" and will make a highlight reel play now and then, but he's not a capable quarterback. But he will continue to be a media darling for the rest of his college career and then it will start up all over again in the NFL.Edited by: Don Wassall

Looks like Matt Barkley could be the next nightmare of the caste clowns everywhere, especially the media. I noticed that he started his post-game interview on the field by praising God and going from there.

As the Tim Tebow era winds down, here we have another young white, Christian man, leading a major college football program and destined for success in the years ahead.

And yes, what a contrast that was to the QB on the other side, an incompetent, thug worshipping clown.

Also nice to see the lone white linebacker from USC making the INT and nearly taking it to the house. And let's not forget that offensive line, I counted 4 white OL, and they really took over the game in the 4th quarter. I think one of the announcers mentioned something like there potentially being 4 first-rounders in that line.

Is he serious? Sounds like something someone might say while tripin' on acid. If he actually believes what he said, the guy is college football's #1 thug loving clown. Maybe he's the next Murderin fool (Ray Lewis). Yeah everyone murders, it's no big deal. Actually, if you're PETA it's no big deal unless it's a dog.

My guess is it was probably just a brain fart of a person with a very low IQ. Maybe he meant to say "yeah there are some murders, thieves and such out there and like Mike Vick they deserve forgiveness if they've had a change of heart." Sounds like he must have trouble putting together a coherent thought in words.

No, what am I saying...yeah, all he cared about was trying to excuse Mike Vick, after all he's a brutha, right Terrell? It just gets more and more ridiculous. And he's one of those guys who isn't happy enough yet when 7 of Scout.com's top 12 QBs are black in a 13% black country...

"No not enough black QBs yet, they're still the victims. They're in the "doghouse". And btw, "who let Vick's dawgs out...woof,woof!"
