    Cole Aldrich is the man!
    Triple Double baby!

Kansas, Syracuse, and Arizona have all advanced!

Eric Devendorf is another white dude who is just red hot!

Morningstar on Kansas looks like a good shooter also.

Way to go Alderich. I totally forgot about Kansas. So far so good for alot of our teams. Did you guys see Brockman tearing it up today as well? There are so many good white forwards and centers in the ncaa. Hopefully they will get to start at the next level. Edited by: white lightning

Amazing statistics being put up by Cole Aldrich so far. 10 blocked shots, who says white men can't jump! It's hard to believe that Cole was riding the bench last year for the Jayhawks.

Ten blocked shots. That's crazy. What's the tournament record for a game?

I don't know what the record is but this kind of triple double is very unusual. Usually a triple double consists of double figure points, rebounds and assists. Having double figure blocked shots in a game is almost unheard of. Thats a Wilt Chamberlain kind of number put out by Cole Aldrich.

That should gain him more respect from now on. The guy is freakish athlete. They need to cut the crap that white men, especially tall whites (6'10+) can't jump. Well they can, and maybe even better than most blacks.

man, i can't remember the last time Duke played so poorly... other than Kyle Singler, they looked awful. and even Singler struggled to put the ball in the basket. and once again, we see Gerald Henderson and Nolan Smith disappear in a big game. 'Nova's defense ate 'em up.

Purdue lost, but Robbie Hummel was the best player on the floor. it's just a shame he didn't get any help.

Gerald Henderson was a no show and Nolan Smith has never done anything at Duke and thats not a overstatement in the least. As a Duke fan I am tired or great regular seasons and relatively early exits from the tourney. As great as Coach K is , some of the blame falls on him. Duke is becoming a team that can't handle the pressure and expectations. Toughen up.

I guess we can just hope for the best with regard to Gonzaga and Syracuse. Another awful tournament for our people, though it might not be quite bad as last year's final 4.

Duke played like crap last night [IMG]

Henderson and Scheyer shot 4-32 from the field and as a team Duke shot 26.7% [IMG]

Gonzaga & Syracuse are probably the most white friendly teams left but if they lose I'll probably end up rooting for Kansas or UNC. I like Cole Aldrich and Tyler Hansbrough. It would be nice to see Hansbrough win a championship in his last year.

a couple of very complimentary articles regarding Josh Heytvelt and Micah Downs.

    Heytvelt and Hansbrough meet again.

Zags' Micah Downs long strange journey

sometimes it helps to remember these young men have lives off the court. best of luck to them tonight against UNC! [IMG]

Arizona has a great white player in Chase Budinger... but white friendly?

i'm thinking that label certainly wouldn't apply. not for the past decade or so, at least.

I can say the same for North Carolina (just Hansbrough) and Kansas (just Aldrich), not white friendly either.

Syracuse has only one notable white, Eric Devendorf.

I somehow use the term because of the elevated game and status of these players.

Kansas actually has a tradition of playing a lot of white players. and this year they often have three whites on the court at a time (Aldrich, Brady Morningstar, and Tyrell Reed). so, i'd say they were more white friendly than most.

Brady Morningstar just made a steal and dunked on a negro in the open court! [IMG]

you're right about North Carolina. other than Hansbrough, no other whites are featured. hopefully that will change next year with Zeller coming back healthy and the Wear twins arriving on campus.

Syracuse has typically been non-white, but this year three white men see a lot of time, including arguably the best leaper on the team Orangenat (sp?) and the two best shooters in Devendorf and Andy Rautins. but as you say, they're done regardless.

early on, Heytvelt and Downs are playing well for Gonzaga. but Pargo is getting thoroughly out-played by UNC's Lawson.

Kansas should win (2 white regulars, 1 white superstar).

The UNC-Gonzaga game is up for grabs. Hansbrough is an NCAA legend, while Gonzaga has 3 white starters. My best wishes to both Teams.

If I rememver right UNC also has Bobby Frasor, who sees the court. Tonight, UNC had Hansbrough, Frsor, and Zeller out on the court together for a little bit. They didn't show much of the game where I live, but I know I saw them out on the court together. UNC had a majority of white players on the floor tonight.

Kansas lost to nearly all-black Michigan St. [IMG]

Goran Suton played great though against Kansas. He had 20 points, making him easily the best player.

Michigan State beats Louisville!!!![IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    Goran Suton was brilliant again:

    19 points (7-15 FG's, 3-5 3pt's, 2-4 FT's)
    10 rebounds
    4 assists
    1 steal
    1 block

    Take that Obama!!!![IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Nice, we have two teams in the Final Four whose best players are white, and they won't be playing each other in the semis. So, we can hope for a Michigan State - UNC final.

Also, although it's good to see no black coaches in the Final 4, the one I hate the most (Calhoun) is still there. I'll be rooting against UConn all the way.

Suton was unconscious in the first half. He played the middle against the full court press and zone to perfection.

At one point Gus Johnson said, "Suton is a great..." and it sounded like he was going to say "athlete" then kind of paused and said "thinker." He just couldn't bring himself to calling Suton a great athlete.
