And, in a shocker, Austin doesn't have blonde hair or blue eyes...

Thousand Knives is a liar. Thank you Deadlift, for challenging him on basketball- now I will challenge him on football.

For a power back Toby's size- with his FREAKISH leg strength- a 4.48 40 is great. Just take a look at a typical NFL combine from footballsblackfuture.com's database: the average tailback runs in the low to mid 4.5s and typical NFL 1st and 2nd teamers run about a 4.5 or high 4.4 at the fastest. Toby's stats made him the best tailback in the entire FBS last year- even his YPC was good although not eye popping. He had his best games down the stretch against the best teams (Oregon, USC). He actually wasn't too far off in YPC- from the Heisman winner Mark Ingram. Stanford should have been 10-2 on the year if not for dumb decisions by coach Harbaugh. In the bowl game Toby did well considering there was basically zero passing threat to open up the offense with Luck injured.

Toby runs like Beanie Wells, Shonn Greene, Michael Turner or Peyton Hillis, except his 40 time is faster. Toby will disprove this liar by running no slower than a 4.55 on the NFL combine's slower track. That is faster than all the aforementioned guys and even a bunch of so called "swivel scat backs" like for instance; Knowshon Moreno's 4.63, Ahmad Bradshaw's 4.6 flat and even Brian Westbrook's 4.56. Toby's speed is plenty good for a power back his size.

I predict Toby's 10 yard burst will be about 1.5 flat- which will equal what his "athletic freak" man crush Darren McFadden ran. 10-15 yard burst is where most of the runs are made. Toby has this as well as an amazing ability to start and stop on a dime and make a very quick first cut while finding daylight. And his so called swivel/shake/scatback type agility (typical of smaller backs) is good for an NFL power back his size. The broad jump shows this kind of agility (to make guys miss in tight space) and I predict Toby will reach 10 feet or more! And just try to keep Toby train out of the end-zone in the redzone (didn't he have the 3rd most rushing TDs in FBS history in a season?). This will be a very difficult task in the NFL.

And I have no idea who would say DunLeavy is better than Lebron here, that is ridiculous. The only thing that they are pretty equal on is long range shooting and rebounding per 48 minutes is close. I'd give Lebron a significant edge in every other category- yes even passsing. And Lebron might be the best defensive small forward in the NBA as well.

Gotta love Notre Dame. Considered out of the tournement, and without Harangody for part of the season, the Irish are looking more and more like a team that will make it in. The Irish may have just punched their ticket today as they reeled off their fourth straight win today over all black Marquette, 63-60 in OT, in Luke's return. The Irish also have defeated three other all-black squads in the four game win-streak. Notre Dame thrashed Pittsburgh, beat Georgetown and the UConnvicts. Hats off to the Irish.

we have another contender for Caste Football's College Basketball Moment of the Year ...

today, Louisville was trailing heavily-favored, and #1-ranked, Syracuse. it was Louisville's final home game of the season, and the final game ever at storied Freedom Hall. any chance at victory was slipping away, and things seemed dark for the home team when cramping negro (as an aside, what kind of athlete is so out of shape that he's cramping at this time of year?!?!? can you say, "too much pot smoking?") Reggie Delk left the game.

that is, untilunheralded,under-utilized sophomore guard Kyle Kuric stepped onto thecourt for the first time with 16:11 left in the game ... Kuric, despite lacking the "playmaking pigment," has a vertical leap of well over 3 feet and is regarded within the program as one of the best dunkers on the team. he rarely gets any burn, but today's performance will go down as legendary.

Kuric went 9-11 from the floor, hitting 4 three-pointers and showcasing his aerial prowess with 4 dazzling dunks, and finished with a game-high 22 points as he led Louisville to the comeback, upset win. not bad for a kid who has averaged only 13.4 minutes-per-game this year.

Pat Forde wrote a complimentary article on the performance. surprisingly, it doesn't have much caste speak in it.

just imagine if Kuric had some athleticism.

Wright State, who often plays with 4 White men on the court (theyhave 5 White men who get a lot minutes) trounced all-black Detroit in the semifinals of the Horizon League. they will face Butler, and their trio of talented White hoopers, on Tuesday night on ESPN.

Wright State has an all-conference player (who is possibly an All-American level defender) in guard Vaugh Duggins. i'll post more on him later, when i get a few minutes to spare.

Cornell, St. Mary's and Northern Iowa are the white cinderella teams to watch so far as March Madness nears. Ivy league school Cornell put the fear of God in #1 Kansas earlier this year and led that game most of the way.
