Greetings to all Hockey Fans at CasteFootball.US !!

This forum has gone way too quiet lately, so allow me to get things going again.

The puck drops in just three weeks, and there are all sorts of stories out there to get the hockey juices flowing again. So let me start with three questions for the CF Hockey rank-and-file:

1) Which NHL teams this year are all-White?
2) Which NHL teams dumped Negro players and replaced them with Whites?
3) Who are your favorites to win the Stanley Cup?

I don't know about you but I can't wait for the season to start. Since I utterly loathe the Black Supremicist NFL, the NHL is my follow-on sport to Baseball. Let's tip our cap first to the Washington Capitals for finally releasing the slow, unskilled Donald Brashear. Very wisely the Caps are following the Detroit RedWings formula of filling your team with the best, most talented hockey players available. "Enforcers" are becoming less useful every year, and indeed are an expensive, luxury commodity. Many teams will be dropping theirs, at least their full-time pugilists, and instead will recruit very young "call-ups" from time to time to act as rent-an-enforcer. The Pittsburgh Penguins were very smart last year, dumping the odious, non-hockey-player Georges Laraques and replacing him with real hockey players. They hoisted the cup nine months later!

And let's follow the developing saga of the Lone Wolf versus the Entrenched Criminal Entente, which is the soap opera of the Phoenix Coyotes franchise. We have James Balsillie, co-CEO of the company that produces the "Blackberry" hand-held business machine, sqauring off against the corrupt, Zionist NHL front office. The ridiculous Coyotes have been losing millions, year after year, for the charade of playing hockey in the scorching Arizona desert. The bankrupt owner declared bankruptcy, despite the urging of Gary Bettman and the NHL brass for him to continue to pile up losses while they, ever so slowly, erect a phony NHL-run franchise to take over.

Then in comes Jim Balsillie, offering $212M for the team compared to $140M from the stingy NHL. The Bettman-ites countered with some garbage about the City of Glendale AZ requiring a "separation fee" of nearly $100M for the franchise to be moved. Balsillie's economist made a counter-study, concluding that $13M would be more than enough to pay the lingering stadium bills and related expenses to Glendale. Balsillie then stepped in and offered a cool $50M on top of his $212M to placate the Arizona town, the Bankruptcy judge in Phoenix, and the cash-strapped bankrupt owner.

Isn't it great to be a cartel? The NHL is a cartel, just like the Federal Reserve is ... and they are determined to strong-arm the bankrupt owner of the Coyotes, to give themselves a sweetheart ownership deal ... and then move the team up north anyway! Last week the Coyotes coach, none other than the great Wayne Gretzky himself, refused to report to training camp to not be paid to coach the team. Meanwhile the Toronto, Buffalo, Ottawa and Detroit franchises are scared pale to ponder that Balsillie might succeed in actually planting the Coyotes into Hamilton, Ontario. Balsillie even told the press that he would be willing to move the team back to Winnipeg and its shiny new hockey arena.

Well I hope I was able to whet your appetite a bit with the exciting NHL season coming up. And hooray for the New York Rangers, who finally have a token ******* on their team.

Bettman's southern/sunbelt strategy has been a flop. Everyone knows it but Bettman never concedes anything. He just keeps on saying everything is fine and dandy and has never been better. Bettman has zero credibility. (He and Balsillie really seem to hate one another!).

BTW the Tampa franchise is now in big trouble as well.

I didn't hear about that. It doesn't surprise me though. He was nothing more than a hired thug.

he's decent along the boards but he skates like he's wearing skis. of course he'll receive the "A" for his 'leadership abilities'. total nonsense affirmative action signing, considering the other wingers they could have signed for about the same price. Edited by: C Darwin

Balsillie's been trying to buy a team for a while now. He went after the Penguins a few years ago with the intention of moving them. Fortunately Mario Lemeiux and Co. hung in there through the bad times and now have a money making machine in Pittsburgh with a new arena in a year or two the icing on the cake.

BTW Realgeorge very nice post to start the season.

It's going to be an interesting year. The Red Wings lost a lot of guys from last year but are still a favorite IMHO.

I could see a repeat of Detroit vs. Pittsburgh in the finals but that's a loooong way off.

clearly he was hired for his insight and command of the english language. whatever.

his presence screams 'token negro'.

also, i don't think the people at hnic could have picked any two queerer people to host the 'i desk' than Scott Morrison and Jeff Marek. it's like watching nathan lane's and robin william's characters from the movie 'the bird cage'.

After first two games ...

Lots of extremely improved teams. NY Islanders played the Pens shot for shot, lost in OT. No negroes on Pitt, Okposo on NYI is somewhat *******

Detroit lost twice to St. Louis, and the smell of "parity" looms

NYR looked really good in second game, while Devils look downright lost in loss

Colorado suddenly is 2-0, the Sharks and Ducks slow starting ...

Caps beat Bruins to start the season, but Bruins roared back and crushed Carolina

Not a bad start for the NHL. Even the bankrupt Pho Coyotes played a winning game last night. NHL thrives, yes sir! Dead League my arse!
Thriving despite best efforts of Money-grubbing White-hating Zionazi commissioner

I was bummed about the Wings dropping two in Sweden, they were leading by two goals in both games!!! So much for the "home" advantage for the Wings large Swedish contingient. Lots of season left though.

i think my bruins will be good once again, almost everyone except for Kessell is back and I think we got a good deal for Kessell. He didn't fit into the system. Too much of a finness player for Boston. We got 2 first round picks and a second round pick.

Hahaha the Bird Cage comment had me choking on my beer! Well the CBC has Cassie Cambell doing colour commentary which screams of tokenism. One thing in Weeks' defense he isn't a street guy with street vernacular. Many blacks that play hockey are treated by lower class blacks as Uncle Toms if they play hockey. As for his playing ability he is the equivalent of a third string tailback doing colour commentary...

It will be interesting to see what the NHL's ratings are this year. There is all this talk of Hockey being a dying sport. I think i remember someone on this site saying that the NHL's ratings were increasing.

Calgary led Chicago 5-0 in the first period tonight but the Black Hawks ended up winning 6-5 in overtime. Tied for the biggest comeback in league history.

I vaguely recall the LA Kings coming back and beating the Edmonton Oilers (including Gretzky) by the same score. The Kings coach was so disgusted after two periods when the score was 5-0 Edmonton he left and didn't come back. It was a playoff around 1983.

Colorado Avalanche has surprised everybody and come out swinging! They lead the Western Conference with a 6-1-1 record. Bravo! It's the karma of Joe Sakic rubbing off. The Av's NI is 1/24, as someone named Chris Stewart is the only Negro on the roster.

The New York Rangers are starting strong in the East behind amazing goaltending by Henrik Lundquist. Their NI is also 1/24, hiring the pro thug Donald Brashear in the offseason. Brashear's switch has left the Washington Capitals with a 0/24 NI.

Two more pleasant surprises in the East are the Defending Champ Penguins, 7-1-0 with a 0/24 NI, and the Caps right behind them with 8 points. The Flyers creeped me out by promoting the odious Ray Emery to the starting goalie job over Mathieu Biron.

Last night I noticed the Nashville Predators had something called Joel Ward, a very dark ******* on their Blueline. A "Wayne Simmonds" is also to be found on the LA Kings roster. And of course the Chicago Blackhawks carry Justin Bufflin (whose name is spelled "Byfuglien") who nevertheless have started strong and command second place.

In any event, the NHL Center Ice subscription is well worth-it this year, as nary an incompetent team can be found, and only the Toronto Maple Leafs have a head-scratching off season roster overhaul that has rendered an 0-6-1 start. I count about 23 Blacks in the NHL so far. 23 out of 720 isn't too bad. Major League Baseball makes up for thisEdited by: Realgeorge

Since many legends have retired in recent years, this is a new era in the NHL now.

Fantasy hockey is probably fun, but I have never played it. Here's some younger athletes that are putting up good stats so far, and their teams are doing pretty good:

Anze Kopitar - LA Kings

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=3183

Nicklas Backstrom - Washington Capitals

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=3666

Danys Heatley - San Jose Sharks

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=1171

Steven Stamkos - Tampa Lightning

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=5037

James van Riemsdyk - Philadelphia Flyers

http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/players/playerpage/1689413

Leading all rookies in points.

Rick Nash - Columbus Blue Jackets

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=1569

He's been excellent for some time now.

Paul Stastny - Colorado Avalanche

Until the past two years I hadn't watched a hockey game in a long time. I mean a long time. Since mid-70s and Gordie Howe was playing in the WHA. I had heard all about the financial problems the NHL was facing, and other issues that culminated in the lockout. However, on a whim I decided to watch the NHL finals in 2008. I was floored. I had been missing a great game. Of course these were the finals and one should expect good play (and fans told me that the Wings/Pens 2008 series was almost as good as it gets), but the game was thrilling and. . . No friggin' commercials every five minutes. Of course this is part of the problem that the NHL faces, but still, it was such relief to watch a contest without interruption. Count me a convert, and I'm going to tune in whenever I can this year. Good stuff.

Howdy Alworth!

Welcome to the NHL -- The Other White Meat!

The NHL is indeed an excellent sport, filled with White Gods practicing extreme hand-to eye coordination. I happily pay my $240 per year for NHL Center Ice to watch games from around the nation every night.

I'm glad you like the game. It is faster and more frantice than the 1970s. And there are no Chumps on anybody's roster. The NHL talent pool is so deep that there are fully a dozen minor league hockey players nipping at the heels of every fourth-line forward and every third-pairing defenceman in the league.

I hope you get to see Ovechkin play. And Kovalchuk. And Crosby. And Malkin. And Lucic. And Smith (Colorado) and Toews and Lecavalier and Briere and Pronger and ...

Senators' Mike Fisher is engaged to the gorgeous sweetheart - Carrie Underwood!

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=4763599

Asked by The Associated Press last month what Underwood's family thought of Fisher, the 26-year-old singer said they were supportive.

Yeah, what are you doing with an "evil" hockey player, and he's from Canada no less...
