Brian Leonard has 2 carries for 11 yards in the first quarter.

interestingly, Steven Jackson in the first quarter already has nearly as many touches as Brian had the whole last game when HE was the starter. Brian had 12 touches for the game against Seattle last week. Jackson already has 10 touches.

i wonder why Brian wasn't featured the same way.

edited to put it on backrow's thread

Brian just got three carries in a row... all right up the middle. the first for 4 yards, on a 2nd and 5.

then he was stuffed on 3rd and 4th up the gut.

Brian's numbers look like crap! he lost a bunch of yards on one run off left tackle.
smiley5.gif

on the other hand, Drew Bennett is looking good today. 4 catches for 44 yards in the first half.

yeah, he lost like 5 yards or so... he has now 2.0 ypc in the game. lets hope that Linehan won't stop running the ball in the second half.

How in the world do the Titans ever win any games with Radio at quarterback? That game is at the half and he is 2/6 for 16 yards so far!?

The live blogger for Sports Illustrated is not a Leonard fan:

Battle of the backup tailbacks
02:14 PM
| Jason Wright looks a lot better than Brian Leonard, plus he's a threat to catch the ball out of the backfield.

Travis Minor toting the ball
03:07 PM
| With Steven Jackson out (thanks to the loyal viewers for the specific update) and Brian Leonard ineffective, it's former Dolphin Travis Minor getting some carries for the Rams.

I can't believe Brian has more carries than Jackson. Did Jackson get re-injured? I can't see the game out here, as usual.

Minor has one carry as of right now, not some as this anti-white Caste garden tool says.

Also, Joe Jurevicius is having a good game, with 5 for 76.

Ah, ok. Well that explains it. Maybe Brian will break a long one soon. Drew Bennett is having a decent game, but they need to score some points. Minor still has just one carry, not some.

Brian got stuffed on 3rd and 4th and 1. but what needs mentioning is what Linehan tried to do: running Leonard from a single back formation versus 9 in the box... i mean WTF!

Leonard is stuffed on two carries in a row. The Rams gave him the ball on 3rd and 1, and again on 4th and 1, no gain.

Looks like Cleveland will win the game.

EDIT: Beat me to it backrow. I can't watch the game, I'm just following it on Yahoo Game Center. I was wondering why they weren't passing more as well. Edited by: White Shogun

Just more proof that even when they are in the game, whites are still being discriminated against. The deck is literally stacked against them. I don't understand the mentality that would put this kind of treatment ahead of winning. Surely they have formations for Brian to get some blocking in short yardage situations?

Another stellar performance by the QB o' the future. Young was 6 of 14 for 42 and 7 for 11 on the ground. Still they win, and I'm sure he'll get all the credit.

Of course. They won due to Vince Young's "leadership" Of course, it doesn't hurt that they had like 150 yards rushing, but it was mainly due to the leadership of one Vince Young

Another incredible performance by Vince Young. There is nothing he can't do, and no game he can't win.
