Poz DOES NOT have Urlacher speed man, no way, no how. he is going to be an elite LB, sure but he is definitely not faster than number 54.
Ok. Maybe I was wrong about speed. But Poz could come close to being an Urlacher caliber MLB.

Free safety Jim Leonhard limped off with a calf injury on the first play of the Jets final drive. Coach Dick Jauron didn't provide any definitive updates, only saying Leonhard will require more tests. Leonhard had a noticeable limp following the game and expressed concern, saying he heard something pop.

that means Wendling will get his chance. let's see if the mounting injuries on defense will force Bills into promoting Dustin Fox totheir active roster.

Jim Leonhard is practicing fully and is no longer on the team's injury report, but has lost his starting job to George Wilson, who started in his place when he was out. Pretty disappointing considering how well Leonhard played.

I was just checking out Yahoo sports and noticed that as well.

Here's a report from Rotowire that is very telling about how this doesn't make sense:
------------------------------------------------------------ --- -----------------------
Nov 9- Even though Jim Leonhard is back from a calf injury, Wilson will make his fifth straight start at free safety against the Dolphins on Sunday, The Buffalo News reports.
Recommendation: This isn't to say Wilson -- a converted wide receiver -- is better than Leonhard, but the Bills are on a bit of a roll, the defense is playing well, and Wilson's learning curve is trending upward pretty quickly. He's coming off his best game in Sunday's win over Cincinnati, and now has two interceptions and 19 total tackles as a starter.
------------------------------------------------------------ --- -----------------------

It seems pretty ridiculous to me: Leonhard through 4 games started; had 21 solo tackles, 9 assisted tackles, 2 INTs for 60 return yards and 2 passes defensed. Wilson through 4 games started had 14 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 2 INTs for one TD and 25 total return yards and 3 passes defensed.

Now I didn't see more than one Buffalo game this year, but statistically speaking it looks like Leonhard has a slight edge. Plus it's sort of an unwritten rule that a player who played well is never supposed to lose their job b/c of injury, unless the other player is "substantially" better, which clearly the Rotowire people don't think that is the case. My guess is that Dick Jauron was the usual caste wimp and didn't have the guts to deal with the black player who had the attitude that "he should clearly be starting."Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

I noticed the benching of Leonhard also. I had him on my CF team and know how well he was doing. He may have been the highest scoring safety in the league when he went down with the injury. As usual a white player, who has not reached iconic status, can lose his job on any given day. He was the starter; Wilson is a receiver for god's sake; and he outperformed Wilson.

Bills signed DB Dustin Fox from their practice squad.

Fox, a third-round draft choice from Ohio State in 2005, can play corner and safety. His addition likely means Jerametrius Butler will be out Sunday.

yay!

Bills down to 6 white staters today (same as the Redskins). No more caste breakers in Buffalo.

Just noticed this on the Bills' website. Good news. He's actually listed just as a CB if you can believe it. I'm really rooting for him, he got swept away as fast as possible with the regime change in Minnesota.

Fox is an elite talent, he was a shut down corner for Ohio State and lead the team in tackles in 2002. Dustin had an interception in the championship game for Ohio State in their victory over Miami. Fox has a 43.5 inch vert and runs a 4.45 40 yard dash and was a top CB in the Big Ten, what more do you want!Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Does anyone know what happened to Jim Leonard? He is no longer listed on the roster at www.buffalobills.com.

They also recently cut Coy Wire. On the plus side they do have Dustin Fox listed as backup Cornerback. So there is a white CB in the NFL at the moment.

Bills signed two black DTs, so Kyle Williams might be relegated to a backup role now.

The Bills let LB/White Special Teams DemonJosh Stamer go, and he signed with the Tennessee Titans (AKA Tennessee T-phags) yesterday. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

I suppose the way Buffalo figures it they had an unsuccessful 2007. And what did they have? An inordinate amount of white guys. So they assume:

(Bills) - (White athletes) + (Black nobodies) = a more successful 2008?

They should check their math.

I can't beleive Leohnard is still unsigned, what must this guy do to get recognition? All-American, more than did a good job when given chance to play in the NFL, a pretty good return man, I know he's undersized but cmon...

The Bills are highly unlikely to keep so many whites on defense unless other teams start to follow suit and there's little indication of that happening. The most likely scenario is that within two seasons the BuffaloD will again be overwhelmingly black.
