for the second consecutive season, a white player was named MVP of the boys game (Duke's Josh McRoberts won the award last year).

6'8" forward Chase Budinger was named co-game MVP (11 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals).

in the lady's game, 6'4" forward/center Jayne Appel took home the honor.

she had 12 points, seven rebounds and blocked two shots.

Budinger will probably be the best player on Arizona next year and perhaps the next Hansbrough by which I mean not playing style wise but unamimous Freshman of the Year.
