Ohio State is getting outcoached. Troy Smith is killing them by holding the ball too long and OSU defense is totally unprepared to play against Meyer's offense.

yes, Smith is getting exposed by Gators D. he needs to get his sh*t together and get the ball to their receivers!

PS Gonzo has no catches so far and Ginn is out... what does it tell youEdited by: backrow

The Buckeyes need to get the ball to Hartline and Gonzalez instead of trying to run it.

How about some wide receiver screens or some 3 step drop slants? Every time Smith goes back to pass, it's scramble around and make a play. OSU is playing sandlot football and UF is playing a well executed misdirection offense.

The OSU O-line was terribly exposed by Florida D-line. They stomped all over these guys.

Smith and Gonzo didn't have a prayer.

As for this college season, to quote Elvis "It's Over"

Less than 8 months to go before it starts again!

Tells me the two All-Americans in Florida's defensive backfield were free to swarm Gonz.

I think the fact that Ohio State had almost a two month break from football is one reason why they got blown out. Florida had 2 more games in that period, but even their long wait time is silly too. It's like playing the Super Bowl over a month after the last playoff game. It doesn't make any sense for either team, and in this case Florida might have gotten an unfair advantage from having a shorter layoff.

I don't think their O-line was exposed... I think the ENTIRE team was simply unprepared for jump back into the speed of game coupled with the fact that Florida is the best team Ohio State has faced all year.

Smith showed no poise whatsoever. At least part of the blame has got to be on him.
