<STRONG _extended="true">MINNEAPOLIS  Three <B _extended="true">University of Minnesota[/B] football players were in police custody Friday, undergoing questioning after allegations of criminal sexual conduct, the university said in a statement.[/b]
Coach Tim Brewster immediately suspended the players until the investigation is complete. The allegations come on the eve of the team's spring intrasquad game.
The players were identified by the university as Alex Daniels, listed as a 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive end who came to the <B _extended="true">Gophers[/B] as a highly touted linebacker from Columbus, Ohio; Keith Massey, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound cornerback from Columbus; and E.J. Jones, a 5-foot-9, 185-pound running back from Edwardsville, Ill.
Daniels and Massey are 20 years old. Jones is 19. A university spokesman said all three are sophomores, but Daniels is listed on the roster as a junior. It appeared they had not been charged with any crime as of Friday night, but they remained in police custody.
According to a police report, an 18-year-old woman was raped sometime between late Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The victim, whose name is not being released, was examined at a local hospital.

I can't wait until the school faculty and media start demanding these guys get prison sentences immediately. During the Duke case all we heard was "if these players had been black can you imagine the persecution they would be getting"-well here you have a case and I will bet you that.
1. The teams season is not cancelled

3. School faculty don't align themselves against the

4. Nobody from the media will even care.

athletes be removed from the school and jailed.

Said university athletic director Joel Maturi: "We will let the process take its course and then do the appropriate thing. But I'm not ready to abandon these kids. It's our responsibility to stand by them and their families."
-I thought that if blacks ever got accused of this, they would be treated much, much worse then the Duke guys. (according to all the media and civil rights groups during the Duke case.)

It is going to be hard to convict any athletes of rape because of the Duke Hoax. On the one hand, a legitimate victim may have trouble being believed. On the other, people will say, "Those rich white boys got off. So should these black football players." I can hear that already.
Looks like blacks are preying on Minnesotans. First the Hibbing CC football team and now yet another rape by Gophers. Here's a link with pictures of the thugs:
