Piccorilo loses by UD to Ricardo Mayorga. Picc outboxed Mayorga the entire fight, except for getting knocked down 3 times

Don't be discouraged my White Brother-we were 1-2 tonight and last week Ty Fields ko'd Saul Montana. On the Rahman/Barrett card a young Ukrainian named Volodia Lazebnik 6'2 232 ko'd Mike Middleton in 2 rounds-Volodia is only 24 and 8-0 is his record. The Pole Saleta is 37 years old and has lost 7 times, was Ko'd in 1 round by Luan Krasniqi. Saleta is going nowhere in boxing. We are far from beaten.

Thanks for the moral support, Gary.

Have Krasniqi and Saleta fought more than once? I remember the Showtime announcers saying that Saleta had beaten Krasniqi, as a way of building him (Saleta) up in the pre-fight.

They have fought twice-Saleta "won" in 9 rounds when Luan didn't come out for the bell[injured I think] in the rematch Luan won in the 1st round-Saleta was down 3 times and after the fight announced his retirement[short lived].Saleta is just not very good and at 37 should find another job.

I'm glad you cleared that up. I was wondering how Krasniqi would fare against Brewster were he to have lost recently to Saleta. Whats your honest assessment of that fight?

Really hard to say-Brewster looked very good against Golota but not to good with Meehan. Brewster seems to be improving. Luan's KO over Whitaker was great-I hope Luan will KO Brewster but it looks like a very close fight that could go either way. If it's close and goes to the cards Luan could be in trouble, Golota found that out with Byrd and Ruiz, hopefully Luan can hit Brewster with the same kind of shot he took Goofi out with. He may need to.

I'm still dumbfounded about the Golota fight; I can't believe he could beat both Byrd and Ruiz (I know he lost to the judges, but he WON those fights!) and then get destroyed by Brewster. I don't know whether to think Brewster is that good or that Golota had a melt-down.

But I have never seen Krasniqi fight and haven't read much about him, so I can't even begin to form an opinion about who will win - I just know who I WANT to win!

I could never figure Golota out-he had the potential to be a great fighter but never got his head and heart on the same page-he had Bowe beat twice and lost on fouls-he had Grant beat and still found a way to lose-he perhaps could have beat Lewis but gave himself a shot in the leg before the fight-then he looked good against Bryd and Ruiz and terrible against Brewster.Golota is a very stange man to try to figure out.

Vinny Madddalone a good prospect won by TKO on Friday night, Vinny is 25-2 and hopefully he can make up for our loss of Joe Mesi. Brian Minto is another White American Heavyweight to watch.

That was an awesome fight wasn't it Gary? Those two white fighters really slugged it out. I had never heard of either of them ,but it was one of the more entertaining fights between heavyweights I have seen.
