    Jimmer Fredette

Very true. I have heard the coaches on the radio specifically say what you just did. Since Jimmer expends some much energy on offense, the strategy is to hide/rest Jimmer on defense. He plays no defense by design.

    2010-2011 College Basketball Season

BYU just got a little whiter: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700114618/BYU-basketball-Brandon-Davies-violates-Honor-Code-will-miss-rest-of-season.html. This is only baddue tothe fact that Chris Collinsworth is also out for the year. BYU might take a bit of a hit on the boards.

    National Signing Day 2011

Not to be a spoilsport, but Kuresa and Hadley aren't white. Kuresa is a poly and Hadley looks like a black/poly mix.

    Jimmer Fredette

Fredette is getting lots of attention. Lead story on sportscenter. Kevin Durant tweeted that Jimmer is the best scorer in the world. Jimmer's a real star. Edited by: BYU76

Lol, all those superior athletes are sucking wind trying to keep up with Jimmer.

Pitch perfect performance by Jimmer with the nation watching. Everybody will be watching BYU when the tourney rolls around.

    2011 NBA SEASON

Gordon Hayward has averaged almost 14 pts a game over the last three. The last eight or nine games, Sloan typically plays Gordon the entire fourth quarter. It seems to me it is starting to click for him. He is fairly error free in his play. On defense his positioning is terrific. Shots...

    2010-2011 College Basketball Season

Most typical idiot fans would probably laugh at what I am about to say, but Arizona was abolutely insane to try to run with BYU. Their guards and small forwards could notstay in front of Jimmer, Jackson and the freshman Kyle Collinsworth. Game was never close.

    2010 BYU Cougars

Yeah. Got alot of playing time after Bronco fired the defensive coordinator and took over. I am guessing he will start next year. Its been an interesting year. For the first half BYU had an all Poly defensive line and were about dead last against the run. Then they put Matt Putnam...

    2011 NBA SEASON

Gordon needs to put on a little weight, and CJ Miles was actually hitting jumpers for once last night. I think that's why he didn't play much in the second half. It may take a little while, but Gordon will be the shooting guard the Jazz have been lacking since Hornaceck retired. Redick and...

    2011 NBA SEASON

Ifany of you guys haveNBA TV,you may want to check out the Jazz game tonight. Raja Bell is injured so Gordon Hayward is starting. Best of luck, Gordon!

Steve Thomas is done with football. Too many concussions did him in. I haven't heard an update recently, but Jordan Pendelton may be back for the bowl game. IMO, Bronco wrecked the first half of the year, but was stellar in the second. Can't wait for next year, though. One, because Heaps is...

    WR Austin Collie

I read that article this morning and was a little disappointed. Tyler Anderson, Rod Wilkerson and Mckay Jacobson are all faster than Austin Collie. And Collie has no trouble beating guys deep. There has been plenty of speed at BYU.

    2010 Utah Utes

You can add one for sure, and possibly two, more white starters. John Cullen, jc transfer, will start at left tackle, and true freshman Joe Kruger may start at right defensive end. They say he is the most talented of all the Kruger's. Edited by: BYU76

    2010 NBA Free Agency.

"...The reason why losing out on Reddick is a blessing in disguise is that it allowed the Bulls to move on to their second, and most likely best, choice. Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer (black), the latest Utah expatriate to land with the Chicago Jazz, is far more athletic than Reddick..."...

    2010 BYU Cougars

I got curious and googled Soelberg. He is working at the utah speed academy: http://www.utahspeedacademy.com/nate_soelberg It says he was clocked by nfl scouts running between a 4.21 and 4.26 forty. Yet, no nfl team gave him a shot? It's messed up.

    2010 BYU Cougars

Good point, Reb. What's funny is the biggest reason BYU holds back on unleashing the lineman is the black corners can't cover one on one. I haven't seen a shut down corner at BYU since Brandon Heaney. And playing the other corner was Nate Soelberg. He was new to the position and did very well.

    2010 BYU Cougars

I'd like to see less islanders and more whites, but if you have pro potential on the D-line avoid BYU. Look at Jan Jorgenson. Freshman year BYU's defense features an aggressive D-line and Jan put up big numbers. After that, they changed their scheme to where the D-lineman were told to do nothing...

    2010 BYU Cougars

The buzz here in utah is that Heaps will start. Nothing official, but all the coaches agree that Heaps is the real deal, and more advanced than any incoming freshman they have had. I'm kind of torn between him and Riley Nelson, a local kid. Nelson is very talented and athletic, an Eric Crouch...

    College prospects

There is a running back out of Alabama, Drew Phillips, who signed with BYU this year. He took 6th in the 100 yd dash as a junior. He looks like the real deal, and has been told that he will definitely play as a freshman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9FCGxyf9lo
