Why would you even say some sh*t like that? Rodgers doesn't suck. He even played better very well against Dallas in the playoffs last year, but than Mr. Packer himself.

well, i imagine Connor must be a top ranked player on most teams boards by now, whoever is picking BAP needs to get this gem of a player.

Connor might fall to the Pats after all....I'm positive Jarod Mayo will be a bust, and Connor will soon lead the league in tackles.

...and be trapped on a team with a defense that everyone thinks is the best in the league. Because it's as dark as night. I'd like to see him elsewhere.

Very little to cheer about other than Jordy and Dizon going where they did. Connor still unpicked, only three white o-linemen going, Brohm and Henne drafted later than everyone expected (and put through the annual ritual of their disappointment being monitored on national TV, something reserved only for white players). Another Caste Systemaffirmation by the NFL.

let's predict 3rd round. Connor's a lock, possibly both Hillis and Schmitt, Zbikowski, white TEs like Cottam, Stevens and Tamme. who else is there?

Connor, Cottam and probably Tommy Z. Maybe Booty. I don't see any "fullbacks" going other than possibly Hester.

Well I don't think Jones is overated, he was really considered a reach and done good last year. But I think (and hope) the packers see jones as a slot guy. He is a guy with good hands, good short area quickness, not great speed, toughness and good YAC ability ( in short, he's a poor man Jordy) while being smaller than Jordy.

Lol when I saw that Jordy was the packers pick I shouted as loud as 2 night ago when the Habs scored in overtime! He'll be great in green and gold!

I have mixed feelings on the Brohm pick. I really like him as a qb but I think Rodgers is very legitimate and will be a good qb. The vikings should of picked up brohm but they got that overrated safety from ar state. Connor dropping so far is a crime, he is the best LB in the draft.

Rodgers is a smart player and he has talent, but he's also had injury issues. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brohm at some point next year.

As for Jordy, oh hell yeah!

Pretty disappointing draft to this point, but not too far off from what was expected. I thought Connor would be long gone and either Steltz or Zib would have gone in the 2nd. The big caste angle tomorrow will be whether or not Blythe or Woodhead get picked.

If you want to see a draft you won't be disappointed in then I recommend watching the NHL Draft.

I pray to GOD that they pick Jacob Hester, then it's light's out!! Could you imagine the Pack, which was at the NFC championship last year, with Jordy & Hester tearin' it up? Man, talk about weapons! So far so good! I just hope the upper echelons keep drafting the way they have (3rd pick excluded). To me, it looks like they're re-tooling the Pack for Mike McCarthy. Which means the corporation believes in him. Which, in this day & age, is a rarity, especially a head coach his age!

When you look at McCarthy, you just know he's not your typical 'knee-jerk' cookie cutter coach. Christ, he's from a steel town, so you know it's killin' him that he's already deep at DE, but?......another White linebacker would do a lot to heal the wounds of the Packer faithful!

Hint........ make a push for Connor anyway...just to piss AJ Hawk off more than he already is!

I`ve been saying for a long time that I think Owen Schmitt`s game would fit well with the Steelers. I expect them to pick him tomorrow, probably the 4th round. If they don`t select Schmitt, look for them to go for Hillis. I know some believe that under Tomlin the Steelers won`t need a FB so much anymore. I don`t think this will be the case next year.

I`d also like the Steelers to select Zbikowski or Steltz. With the injury problems Ryan Clark has and the idiot Anthony Smith unable to keep his mouth shut and back up his bragging, and with Polamalu, a great player but always banged up, the Steelers could use an upgrade at safety.

I agree that there hasn't been much to cheer about so far in this draft. The only really positive thing is the fact that the first 3 players drafted were white- when was the last time that happened?

As usual, most teams did a horrendous, irrational job of drafting, even without considering the built-in restrictions of the Caste System. Minnesota, Detroit and Carolina were especially bad. I guess Brad Childress just is not going to bring in any real competition for Tavarious Jackson, not matter how ridiculous he looks on the field. How could they have passed up Brohm and Henne in the second round? They even traded up, and had everyone thinking they were going to take a QB. But Matt Millen was not be outdone, as usual; apparently the Lions are planning on going into the season with tiny, perpetually injured Tatum Bell and his clone Brian Calhoun at running back. Poor Jon Kitna; he won't get any more protection from the fat sumo they reached for in the first round. Then Carolina drafts a running back in the first round, when they just spent a first rounder on DeAngelo Williams a few years ago. Williams has looked great in his inexplicably limited playing time. Meanwhile, teams that desperately need an upgrade at RB, like the Lions, Bears and Cardinals, ignore the fact that the second highest rated RB on most boards (Mendenhall) slid much farther down the first round than anyone expected. As always, NFL teams did little to make things easier for fantasy football owners...

What was most obvious was the Caste loyalty teams like the Vikings, Titans, Raiders and Redskins have towards their young black QBs. The Redskins, for instance, could easily have drafted a Brohm or Henne with one of their THREE 2nd round picks, during their strange slide. If any of the teams in question-especially the Vikings and Redskins- had young white starting QBs, you can bet they would have fought over Brohm or Henne like cats and dogs, and the talking heads would have nodded wisely and said "great value pick" or "you have to take a player that's rated that highly on your board at this point" or some other such words of wisdom. Instead, Brohm goes to the Packers, where young Aaron Rodgers finally has a chance to play. As Steve Young pointed out in some unusually insightful commentary, Rodgers already has enough pressure on him replacing Brett Favre; why add to that by bringing in such legitimate competition for him? Henne went to Miami, where young John Beck is already hanging by a thread as the likely starter (because as a white QB, he's already had the handful of games necessary for the coaches, drunk white fans and media jock-sniffers to determine if he's a "bust" or not). Beck can't be happy about having Henne as competition for his job. I also heard all the talking heads state that the Bears need to upgrade at QB (Steve Young went back to his normal self, lambasting Rex Grossman), while no one said the Vikings did. Also, it was agreed that Matt Leinert is not a guaranteed starter for Arizona. Can you imagine a black QB drafted that high, who wouldn't be guaranteed the starting job? But then again, if he was black, his backup would be Brooks Bollinger, Gus Frerotte or some equally inept veteran who represented absolutely no threat to start. No one noted that it would be great to bring some competition in for Jason Campbell, as it apparently is for Aaron Rodgers. Everyone seems to have forgotten that it was journeyman Todd Collins who led the Redskins on their season ending win streak.

I'm happy that Jordy Nelson went that high, but a black WR of his talent would probably have been gobbled up by a team like Buffalo or Tennessee, where he would have been an instant starter. At Green Bay, even if he isn't immediately designated for the "slot," he will probably never have a chance to be a real number #1 WR (Jennings is young and very productive).

Finally, it will be hilarious to watch all the "gurus" give out their draft grades to each team. Invariably, they will claim most teams drafted wonderfully, issuing only a few "Ds" and no "Fs." In reality, of course, many teams deserve an "F" and only a handful of teams do a really good job of drafting. The fact that they take almost all their alloted time to make EVERY pick, despite months of research into which players they want at which point, just reveals how pathetic they are at their jobs.

let's see. Packers already have two white fullbacks. Hester would likely cost one of them a roster spot. Steelers drafted a powerful RB with their first pick, they don't need Owen Schmitt. amd if they pick him, he would be nothing more than a blocker.

oh, and i think that Danny Woodhead will get drafted.

Caste-forces love 'Skins Draft, but don't the 'Skins need O-line help?? Injuries and age have decimated their line.
