Super Bowl Predictions

Many of the writers are predicting a close game, some are favoring the Gnats who are on a roll, and came very close to beating the Patriots last month. Eli is playing well, andNY out muscled the Packers in Green Bay, no small feat.

Moss has been invisible the last couple of weeks, supposedly he's always double teamed. I doubt it. Physical players often take him out of his game, I don't know if NY can bang him around. If the defense focuses on Moss or even if they don't, Wes Welker should come through AGAIN and make some huge plays. MVP to Brady, Welker, or Vrabel would be nice. Oh, and the deal with Brady's leg? Is it healed or will he have problems? Dr. Z is picking the Giants, so I gotta go with the Patriotsin a big way, 35-10 just for spite.

I have noticed the past 5 games that Moss has been double teamed most of the game to be fair. But again credit to Brady who will always find the open man, not force the throw and not beat himself. Also with this double team/playing off of Moss will entail big games for Welker, Stallworth and Moroney. The D will come big again. Vrabel will bring havoc and Samuel will shut down Plaxico with a couple of INTs. MVP to Brady. I say 38-17 Pats.

This game should be a blowout. The Giants will have to have huge plays on defense to be in the game. Otherwise the Pats offense will roll down the field and put up 35+. I don't think the Giants offense can match them drive for drive.

With Sen. Spector bringing up this Spygate stuff again, I predict the angry Patriots rolling over over the Giants,41-23.

The weather will be good. That will open up the pass for Brady.

The Giant defense doesn't figure to stop Brady for the whole game. It may be like the regular season game between the two teams. Usually in Super Bowls with this kind of matchup, the favorite wins a blowout. FWIW, I"ll pick the Patriots by 10 with Eli Manning having a good game to keep the Giants competitive.

I didn't catch that, but I've heard and read so many derogatory comments and jokes about Bill Belichick that I hope the Patriots blow out the Giants. Bryant Gumbel was talking about the Super Bowl on his HBO show, noting the hype and cliches that are repeated over and over, and one of his cliches was, "Bill Belichick is a much better coach than he is a human being."

Belichick is almost the devil incarnate to a lot of people. He seems like a highly intelligent and perfectly nice man to me, someone to learn from about football and how to succeed in life. The media herd hates that he has contemptfor them, which isanother reason to admire Belichick as far as I'm concerned.

The hype about Brady is almost as bad. A lot of it is based on jealousy and resentment, especially resentment that he has to be given the same kind of attention that only black stars are supposed to receive in football.

nevada, weatherbug.com is predicting "mostly cloudy, high 63, low 41" for Glendale (zip 85301). Will that be optimum for opening the dome?

Colonel Reb, For some reason, I just can't pick this game, winner, spread, O/U or otherwise.

Hey Don did you also see that piece on 'drunke white fans' on Bryant Gumble's Real Sports program on HBO. It was kind of informative, it blamed the drunks on beer contracts with Coors. The blame should be on the individual.

Bryant gumble is a confused black. He ditches his negro wife and marries a blond babe then sticks a sharpened butter knife into white males backs anytime he can. I suspect he wishes he was white. He is able to speak proper english but everytime he looks in the mirror he contemplates getting advice from Michael Jackson on how to become more anglo.

The "blacks" who are mostly white often seem to have the biggest anti-white chip on their shoulders. Though Gumbel's brother Greg seems pretty easy going not to mention he's a far better play by play announcer than Bryant.

I love how this country will prop up any person in the "entertainment industry" who appears even remotely black. If the Gumble brothers were fully white, I assure you that a more "hip" black male would be taking all their cushy announcer jobs. In our super-vein society, if they werent partly black, they'd be considered "fat," "ugly," and as "uncool" as the drunken white fans.

I also think it's funny that "black people" like the Gumble brothers, Barak Obama, and countless black athletes have LIGHTER SKIN THAT I DO! I'm 100% German, and these losers are on easy street because of their skin color.

Back to the superbowl, I really hope Welker, Brady, Manning, Evans, Boss, Bruschi, Vrabel, and both OL's have amamzing games tonight! I wouldnt worry about the Pats, the SB favorite wins most of the time.

As far as the game MVP goes, it will be Welker. Unwanted players (especially undrafted white WRs) JUST WANT IT MORE! I'd say he gets 10 catches for 122 yards and one TD, with the Pats throwing him a bunch of screen passes.

All year he's defined "caste-buster," now he's going to show young white kids all over the world exactly what they CAN do.

I just heard a radio host say that Welker had 87 catches in the slot, which is the highest total in the league, next being 50. Moss can be held in check at times, but Welker is almost uncoverable. It would be great to see him win the MVP.

I like dynasties and blow-outs. I think they're fun to watch. The Pats were vulnerable the last half of the season. Some say this was weather related so they'll have good conditions for this one.

The Giants are tough, and they're on a hot streak, and maybe even a team of destiny. The Pats survived their little cooling off and made it through the playoffs, but I predict the slow-down will continue. I see a tight game in which the Giants pull the upset with a 17-10 victory. I'm not making any specific prediction, but since nearly every sports "miracle" that I know of has benefited a New York team, don't be surprised if the New York Football Giants end the undefeated season of the Patriots.

A bad time for me to find out you can't delete a post once it's on the board.

There is always the edit function. You just have to hope that no one quoted the post you want to edit.
