Ball State's duo at RB of Will Jones and Carson Steele is fun to watch. They are sitting at 4-4. As I mentioned in DB thread regarding Miami Ohio, I hope they can win out and make a Bowl Game. Both solid teams to follow in MAC.

Great list. I've never watched Garrett Schrader or Sam Howell on tv yet this year. I'm missing out. Both dual threat talents with some serious wheels. Thanks
for putting together an amazing list. Shipley would have way more yards if not for missing a few games. He is special. Borghi would also easily rush for 1000 yards
but is only getting around 40 to 45 percent o the carries. Both of these guys have a future on playing on Sundays for sure.

Epic pics with great stats! Thanks and I'm so excited about all the young stud freshman running backs. It's gives us all here great pleasure to know that we
will be able to watch alot of these young stud running backs for several more years and they will only get better as they go forward!

I still say Carson Steele reminds me of Toby Gerhart. I see some Peyton Hillis in him too and if we want to go back a ways I will add Mike Alstott!

Carson Steele has the early look of a guy that’s going to have 4000+ rushing yards in his career.

Shipley could play in the NFL next year if he was eligible!

Appreciate the great updates! Would be awesome to see some Big Ten Teams reach out to Mueller. Purdue,Northwestern, Illinois, Wisconsin,Iowa, Minnesota should all throw their hats in the ring!

Guggenheim is in SEC country so i guess that's a little less likely..

Agreed on Steele. He's a big, back coming into his own as the season rolls on. Impressive Freshman!

Roberts and Borghi are holding it down out West. Looking forward to seeing what Max does against Oregon today.

Dayton usually always has a White RB. Glad to see Chisholm carrying on the tradition.

Time to add RAt Dog to the list ...

He was mentioned here on CF this Pre-Season; Leonardfan was nice enough to start the Northern Illinois Huskies 2021 thread ; I chimed in seeing his name on the Pre-Season DraftScout ; Ratkovich was the 5th Ranked Fullback on the list....
http://castefootball.us/index.php?threads/2021-northern-illinois-huskies.38391/

Here is the 96 Yard TD Run....compliments to El Gringo!
"""Not bad for a FULLBACK""".....If he were not so pale he'd be listed as a Running Back

25 Yard Game Winning TD in OT last week....

......FCS Western Illinois transfer

Excellent work TwentyTwo. I'm really high on this kid too. We all know that he was criminally underused. Ratkovich is
capable of so much more. Our guys just need to find a team that will believe in them. Look at Carson Steele. Lucky for
him one team kept him at running back and he had over 800 yards as a freshman rb. Let's hope the NFL takes note and
Ratkovich goes to a team that will use him as a weapon. He is a little similar to a Taysom Hill even though he is not a qb.

Jared Bernhardt is technically a quarterback for the now-national champions at Ferris State, but he is absolutely ELECTRIC with his feet.

the best collegiate lacrosse player in the nation the past few (three?) seasons, Bernhardt led Ferris State to an undefeated season and national championship in his first season as a full time football player. his vision and ability to change direction then accelerate is eye popping. additionally, he has excellent size (listed at 6-foot-1, 195 lbs), so it’ll be interesting to see if an NFL team gives him an opportunity. perhaps it goes without saying that i think they should.

He didn't want to risk injury before the draft. I'm sure his agent advised him. Borghi also said he wanted to start training sooner for the nfl combine. I'm hoping he can
nail the drills with speed and agility to go along with strength. With his height they will downplay his ability which is stupid but they have to attack whites to make him
fall lower into the draft and be more undervalued. Decade after decade very little changes.

There’s a college all star game on at noon....CBS sports channel.
Horvath, Clint Rak are both listed as fullbacks, of course.
I saw Scott Nelson at safety....I just looked at running backs for the most part.

Oh ok...yea amazing that Nelson is not getting any higher level bowl game invite. Meanwhile black players from some really bad schools get the invite to the senior bowl.

Can anyone find how out Horvath did in the Hula Bowl and Shrine game? I can’t find any information or stats.

Gringo, I watched a bit of the Shrine Game (online) and the "fullback" from Northern Illinois got a fair bit of playing at tailback. According to the announcers, his RB coach was impressed with him in practice and let him do the "Mike Alsott thing" that night. His RB coach, by the way, was a black woman that currently coaches for the Washington Redskins. So Clint Ratkovich going to Washington might not be a bad thing, although if they don't utilize a fullback, things might get bad? Better if he winds up with a team that uses a fullback, then slowly he could be used more at tailback?

I spotted Horvath on the sideline, but did not see him in the game. Again, I just watched a bit of the game -- perhaps 18-19 minutes of the 60 minute contest? Not sure he played in the Hula Bowl. When I checked he wasn't on the game roster, I think. He might've left the Hula Bowl (3rd tier game) when the E-W Shrine (2nd tier game) invite came in?

East-West Box Score: https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401386135

Can't find Hula Bowl box score. It was up on ESPN last month, but it didn't have any stats for whites, other than QB and TE. And those stats were modest.

Thanks Truthteller! I’m glad Ratkovich is getting some buzz hopefully he gets drafted. I wonder if Horvath hurt himself in practice. It’s weird that he didn’t get any touches if he wasn’t injured.
