Good morning Gentlemen, Today is the opening day of the kangaroo "trial" of Officer Derek Chauvin. I hope he has the good sense to flee this lousy trial he's going to be subjected to and not wait for the obvious pre-arranged verdict- guilty of murder.

Flee where? He probably had to give up his passport and I can think of no country that would grant him asylum.

I worked up there way back when. That would be up to the north woods (above Duluth - very much forest area). Wait until winter and make it across to Canada and work his way up to Yukon or N. Alberta and live off grid. It won't be easy but things'll be worse when they put him in the penitentiary. What the hey, give it a shot.

I'm old and I don't make myself too clear. I don't mean to go to the International Falls, Ft Francis border crossing. I mean to go over the border mid-winter in the middle of nowhere and get up there in the Yukon, Eastern Alaska, etc. Better than sitting in the slammer with all the black guys looking to give you a beating every day. If he stays for the "trial," he's dog meat. He's already been found guilty. Take a look at that motley crew they've assembled they're calling a "jury of his peers." Like I say, it's worth a shot.

G, Gordon Liddy died yesterday at the age of 90. I did not see a cause of death. I read his autobiography years ago and recommend it to everyone. He had unique ways of overcoming his fears. Like him or loathe him, he had a quality I admire more than anything else. Loyalty.

Yes, I remember him, a stand up guy. He never let Nixon down and turned on him like all the rest of those creeps. That really stuck in the craw of all those liberal bastards that he was a loyal, true man. RIP G. Gordon Liddy.

Well the MSM is run by Marxists and saddled with Marxist journalists. So any time a Republican is President then they are harsh, mocking and unprofessional. Whenever a Demoncrat holds office, they are treated with kiddie gloves - bonus points if black. Simply put, MSM does not do their jobs. They are no longer journalists; they are activists. They have been for quite a while but now are even more brazen than ever.

Exactly. The situation is just out of hand now. It has been suggested that most institutions of today's "journalism" should be sued for malpractice.

Don you forgot another late night talk show host that only existed to bash Trump, Samantha Bee. Show called “full frontal” fortunately not of her. I don’t know if it’s still on. I would catch a few snippets during commercials. Unfunniest bitch ever.

concerning old Uncle Joe, I think them laying off is different then say the way they did for Obama, for Obama it was because they worshipped him. With Joe I think it’s pity. It would be like making fun of the retarded kid. Plus he’s liable to kick off at any time and they would be stuck with jokes about the dearly departed.

Nailed it Flint. As much as I dislike him, I still feel some pity for the old bastard. But will never have any for today's sycophant press.

Derek Chauvin trial: Key witness to invoke the 5th ...
https://www.foxnews.com/us/key-witness-who-was-in...
8 hours ago · A key witness who was with George Floyd on the day he died, has informed the court that he will invoke the Fifth Amendment if asked to testify in Derek Chauvin's murder trial.
This is interesting. I hope the defense attorney for Chauvin calls this character and asks him all sorts of questions.

Uhh...thats why he invoked the 5th, so they can't ask him any questions.

"Therefore, counsel for Mr. Hall respectfully moves this court to quash the subpoena" - Sir, that is the quote from the article. Of course they want the subpoena quashed. They don't want the guy sitting there and tacitly admitting he and Floyd were up to no good. Also, I wonder if "Shawanda" Hill will be called (another character in the car)? The defense attorney is a pretty clever guy. I think he could tailor his questions pretty good to show these two and Floyd in a very bad light. Lastly, bringing these two into court might somehow help in the appeal (I expect Chauvin to be convicted by this jury) of the guilty verdict and a new trial and also maybe get a change of venue to a place probably more friendly to Chauvin such as Duluth or Hibbing, Mn.

Once you invoke the 5th they can't ask you ANY questions. You don't have to invoke the 5th for each question like you see on t.v.

I'm pretty sure they can ask him questions but it would be his right to remain silent. If they keep asking him questions and he answers any of them that will waive his right to take the 5th and he'll have to answer further questioning.

BTW what are your thoughts on the matter? Rooting for a conviction, think Fentanyl Floyd was murdered instead of ODing on his drug stash?

For those who are interested, there is a documentary on the murder of James Jordan's father. It is on the IMDB app. They found Jordan's body about 1/4 of a mile from my house. I remember it very well.

They can grant him immunity from prosecution and he'll have to testify. I think this is unlikely to happen because they want Chauvin convicted.

The conviction is certain in my opinion. I want the guy questioned to possibly help in the appeal. Also, the woman, Shawanda Hill should be questioned as well. She was in the car too. There's also the point I think Chauvin should give some deep thought to plight. What the hey, it's worth a shot.

Chauvin will be convicted because he is guilty. There are a couple of things in life that I know about all too well, drugs and being arrested. I have been handcuffed behind my back and the policeman was leading me to the police car and he pushed my arms upward toward the back of my head. He pushed them so far that I had to walk on my tiptoes to be able to get my breath. I have been placed on the highway and the deputy places his foot in the middle of my shoulders making it very hard to get my breath. So, watching Chauvin leave his knee on Floyd's neck for 9 minutes I know this contributed to his death.
If Floyd had as much fentanyl in him as they say he did he would have died in two or three minutes. It takes a piece of fentanyl the size of the end of a pin to kill you. I have gone to many family and friends' funerals over the last few years due to drug overdoses involving fentanyl including one where Matt didn't even have time to take the needle out of his arm. I am an admitted racist, I have said so since my first post, but Chauvin just because he's white doesn't deserve a pass on this.

Guilty of what though? Manslaughter? Abuse of power? The media is painting this to be a hate crime where the white cop Chauvin murdered Floyd intentionally because he was black. I do not think it was Chauvin's intention to murder him and he probably heard the "I can't breathe" excuse 100s of times. Was the cop abusing his powers? Perhaps but then again if Floyd never tried to slip the business owner fake money the business owner would not have called the cops. I am sure Floyd's physical condition played a role in his death. The white cop was not out looking to target and hunt down blacks as the media portrays the cops to be doing. He was sent on a call - I believe he was the only white officer of the four involved. Chauvin certainty is not guilty of the false narrative they are trying to accuse him of.

You can watch the full video online which leaked months ago. He started saying he couldn't breathe long before he went to the ground. He indeed was on fentanyl, and a cocktail of other drugs, in that video you can see he looks to have swallowed something as the cops come up to his car.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make. Fentanyl is super deadly, so that means Floyd would have died in an instant so it must have been the pressure on the neck that caused his heart to stop and for him to foam white at the mouth, not the fentanyl, the cocktail of drugs, his severe heart disease, his sickle cell, his hypertension? Even though he was already saying he couldn't breathe and freaking out while standing up? Floyd swallowed his stash, he didn't inject it straight to the blood.

I watch the video and I am saying he couldn't have as much fentanyl in the system as they said or he would not have lived as long as he did. I can see Chauvin being convicted of second-degree murder, not first degree because it was not premeditated. I've never heard of third-degree murder. Once Floyd was handcuff and no longer a threat and with 3 other officers on the scene that should have been the end of it. Chauvin contributed to but was not the only cause of Floyd'sdeath. Do you think that instead of holding him down with a knee to his neck for 9 minutes if they had given him first aid this death might have been prevented?

What would be their motive for lying about his fentanyl levels? They used this story as an around the clock battering ram to push a narrative about "white supremacy," "systematic racism," etc. If they were going to lie they would have claimed he didn't have any drugs in his system or a low amount.

Anatomy of an overdose
The researchers asked the respondents to describe what happened during a suspected fentanyl overdose. The most common characteristic, described in 20 percent of the cases, was that the person's lips immediately turned blue, followed by gurgling sounds with breathing (16 percent of the cases), stiffening of the body or seizure-like activity (13 percent), foaming at the mouth (6 percent) and confusion or strange behavior before the person became unresponsive (6 percent), according to the report.

The last breath you take
Here is how fentanyl kills you: When it binds to the endorphin-releasing receptors, it can mess them up.

Because of that, your body cannot respond to low levels of oxygen or high levels of carbon dioxide.

Those are the two things that tell your brain — which controls your lungs — that you need to breathe. If the opioid is bound to those receptors, it cannot tell if the oxygen is low, or the carbon dioxide is too high and you eventually stop breathing and die.

"If you are taking a drug orally, you swallow it, It can take a while before it gets absorbed into the body, versus if you are injecting it or snorting it. It can happen a lot quicker," said Bishop.

"If someone is injecting fentanyl, it can happen within minutes, especially if that person is not used to taking that medication or that drug, and it's a very high dose."
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newf...-opioid-drugs-high-extreme-naloxone-1.4243787

"Matt" injected straight into his blood stream, Fentanyl Floyd swallowed a bag.

If Chauvin stood up, put 0 lbs of pressure on Floyd and just watched him, Floyd was still going to die shouting for "Mama" his drug dealing, coal burning girlfriend.

So what does the autopsy say about the cause of death?
