Hingis retires after positive coke test
Fri Nov 2, 7:58 AM ET
Martina Hingis revealed she tested positive for cocaine at Wimbledon, proclaimed her innocence and retired from tennis for a second time â€â€￾ all in one fell swoop. It was a swift and stunning end to a career highlighted by five Grand Slam singles titles and a rise to the top of the rankings at 16, the youngest No. 1 ever.

Why did she retire? Cocaine addiction got Lawrence Taylor elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he got rich on the book he wrote about it and he's treated as one of the all time greats, despite his lifelong heavy cocaine addiction.

I think she is insinuating that the testing system in sports is flawed.

She says she didnt take cocaine and I believe her.

Always liked Hingis. I don't think she used the stuff either. As for her retiring; I think that her comeback last year was not as successful as she would have liked so she's calling it a career. Just a guess.
