Nate Swift is their best receiver, in my opinion. he set most every wide receiver record for freshmen in Nebraska history in '05 (albeit, the Cornhuskers haven't passed much until recently).

last year, undernew head coach andCaste disciple Bill Callahan, his numbers and game action dropped off considerably. he earned only 3 startsdespite leading his team in catches, yards, and tying for the lead with 7 TD grabs the year before.

i mean give me a break!

edited to add: a couple of catches, the first against Texas last year on a halfback pass and the second in the spring game this year.

Bo Rudd I think may be even better than his older bro Barrett and that's saying something. Barrett was a 2nd Rd pick but I think Bo will play his way into the 1st. Nate Swift is also a good player but he never gets as many touches as he should to show off what he can do.

11 white starters (half) is my baseline for supporting a college team. Anything else is evidence of rampant racism. Go Huskers.

From the AP today, this might affect the game against Kansas Saturday.

Nebraska QB Keller out for regular season: Nebraska quarterback Sam Keller will miss the rest of the regular season after suffering an injury late in the Cornhuskers' loss to Texas on Saturday.
Nebraska coach Bill Callahan declined to reveal the nature of the injury. But Keller's father, Mike, told the Lincoln Journal-Star that his son sustained a broken collarbone.

Joe Ganz will start for the Cornhuskers against Kansas on Saturday.

speaking of Nebraska Colonel what is your take on Roy Helu back up freshman running back who is I beleive from American Samoa. He has been getting some carries. I took the time to google his name and found out that he is from a prominent family in American Samoa. Is he another player for us to pull for I'll leave it up yo you to decide. I like the kid and his running style he is a punishing hard nosed runner.Edited by: White Power

I never have tried to decide who anyone should root for, White Power. It is not my place and I have no desire to do so. That would be against my reasons for being on CF. What I have done is tried to elucidate my own views on who I support, and identified players who are white, or in a few cases non-black.

As for Roy Helu, all I will say is that he does look about as Samoan as I've ever seen. I don't think he is black. I think he may have received benefits from not being white, based on his high Rivals rankings. He was recruited by just 3 other big schools though. I'm glad he's not just another black back at Nebraska. Still, I'd rather see a home grown (i.e. Danny Woodhead) white back getting carries at Nebraska. Maybe if Callahan is shown the door white runners will again get a shot in Lincoln.

No, I'm not White Power. I think its great that we know about him, but I'm not going to add any more people to my list of players to get stats on unless they are white, hispanic, or asian. There are more polynesian backs starting in the US than whites. I don't list the polynesian back's stats here at BYU because I believe they receive benefits from the coaches due to their race.

Having said that, feel free to add his stats if you want to follow him. Just because I don't list him doesn't mean you have to forget about him. Not everyone here has the same likes or dislikes and I have no intention of forcing my preferences on others. Also, I am not going to put more of a load on myself by having to look up stats on guys that are likely recipients of favoritism due to the Caste System.

How many hours each football Saturday would you spend looking up stats on some of our white athletes, White Power?

In the past Nebraska had good white tailbacks. I recall Jeff Mckinney and a few others playing in huge games in the 70's. Beau Bridges getting the pink slip isn't bad news for me as he ran a mercenary for hire out fit in Oakland. One thing can say is that I don't think they have had the problems that Florida schools have had with off the field problems with their "students". Maybe it's too cold and isolated for the hardcore banger types...

Bill Callahan was fired today.

He's a classic Caste System coach, whose main interest was in recruiting "speed"and "athleticism." Nebraska was whiter -- and a lot better -- pre-Callahan.

Callahan was and is a joke of a coach. He stunk it up in the NFL and did the exact same in college. Good Riddance!

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska offensive lineman Andy Christensen was arrested early Saturday and accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a bar. Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said the junior has been suspended from the team.

A 23-year-old woman told police that Christensen approached her from behind and reached underneath her clothing.

Christensen was arrested outside the Brass Rail bar. He is accused of first-degree sexual assault, resisting arrest and failure to comply, Police Capt. Joseph Wright said. Wright said it was also unclear if Christensen had been drinking. Prosecutors are still to decide on formal charges and Christensen would be arraigned Monday, Wright added.

It was unclear whether Christensen had a lawyer. A phone call by The Associated Press to the jail where he was being held was not answered.

Pelini said he will review Christensen's status when more information is available.

"The charges against Andy are serious in nature and these types of actions will not be tolerated," he said.

Christensen started the first three games at left guard last fall before a season-ending knee injury.
