Sadly taking a step back from last year. WSU will have 6 white starters in 2020, all on offense

QB: RS So Cannon Cooper
RB: JR max borghi
LT: RS Senior Liam Ryan
LG: RS So Jarrett Kingston
C: RS Jr Brian’s Greene
RG: RS Senior Josh Watson

defense: none

note that WSU does not run a TE or FB position

RS Senior RB Clay Markoff listed as 3rd RB, gets playing time but only has a few carries, typically a pass protector. Lots of young promising receivers all sophomore and below but they’re nowhere on the depth chart. This team is ran by undersized untalented shitty blacks who are starting because of seniority, most being RS seniors, which goes to defense also.

2 white linebackers Hank Pladson and Dillon Sherman listed as 2nd string and could see lots of playing time because this entirely black WSU defense is terrible and they rotate their guys a lot. Notably dominated by Chase Cota and Kyle Phillips of UCLA.

seniority seems to be what gets you playing time at WSU, very white WR and DB class coming up could have a bright future.

Expect WSU to have their signature atrocious all black defense dominated all game and Max Borghi and their talented QBs keeping them in it.

Thanks jacque. Keep them coming. Ha. My take on Borghi? Since RB is a short shelf proposition for many and he is regarded as a top 10 RB for the 2021 draft I think he should make the jump unless for some unforeseen reason his stock drops. Why risk getting injured at Wash State a senior year when the NFL wants you now?

The only FBS back to gain 800 plus on the ground and 500 plus through the air . Throw in 16 touchdowns and we are talking about an elite back. He averaged 6.2 per carry. Just big time production. He is a very quick back with a tremendous burst. And importantly he catches passes with the ease of a wide receiver. Sound familiar?

Expect the powers to be to downgrade him at least two rounds come draft time. Call it the white downshift shuffle. We see it every year. I give him a second round draft grade with the possibility of sneaking into the first round depending on how his season turns out.

Thanks for taking the initiative @jacque !

If you could try to throw in the historical number of white starters that would be great. Keeping that in the write up every year allows us to track it easier.

Max Borghi will be tagged as CMC 2.0, at least can get drafted.
No PAC12 football this fall, Wazzou is so crap, staying for 1 more year might not help his stock.

Will do, good catch totally forgot to add past rosters, I’ll make sure the next pac 12 teams have that info and I’ll update UW/WSU/OSU

WSU released their depth chart and all 4 receivers listed #2 on the depth chart are white.
Lucas Bacon (SO) is listed as a co-starter at X receiver. Freshmen Joey Hobert and Billy Pospisil III are the #2 slot receivers. True freshman Jay Wilkerson is the #2 Z receiver. Wow all underclassmen too, I will be watching this team very closely.

Cooper lost the starting qb job to a freshman Hawaiian dude.....

Not sure if Borghi will be back this weekend.
