Chandler Parsons is flying under the radar for the Houston Rockets, but he is still flying high.

one of my long-time favorite players due to his versatility, length, and athleticism, Parsons has emerged as a scorer in the Association. he currently has 26 points tonight, and it's just halftime! he is RED HOT, having hit 11 of 13 shots thus far tonight.

his totals from his last few games:

vs. Chicago - 18 points (on 7 of 13 shooting)
at Utah - 11 points (he had a poor shooting night, 3 for 11)
at LA Lakers - 24 points (on 8 of 10 shooting!)
at Portland - 19 points (on 8 for 15 shooting)

in 12 games this season, he's averaging over 14 points-per-game, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. barring injury, he's a future All-Star, in my opinion.

below, i've posted a compilation of his 25 points against Miami from last week (11-21-12).

He ended up with 31 points last night! Any idea who was guarding him? I assume Carmelo Anthony. Parsons is now averaging 15.5 ppg this year. Great numbers for a guy in his second year. One of the very rare white players permitted to play the three position.

After his 31 point effort against the Knicks, the local rag said "Parsons who?" in the article. They acted like some un-drafted, D2 player, whom no one should have ever heard of did this. I guess Florida Gator alumni are only known if they are affletes or named Tebow.

I remember Parsons going into an NBA combine as something of an unknown, and leaving an impression on the attendees. Good to see him establishing his game in the NBA. Need more like him.

Game 4 performance that kept the Huston Rockets alive in the playoffs, had an impact; albeit a lesser one in game 5 going for 10 points 5 rebounds 4 assists.

Yes, however Asik came up big, as did Harden to his credit. It's the only series I'm following, since the Rockets have 3 whites (Parsons and Asik as starters, plus Delfino as the 6th man) who are regular contributors. It would be great if they could beat OKC in this series and they have a shot with Westbrook out.

What a shame.

I notice even TMZ, which claims to have a copy of the police report, hasn't given the name of the perp yet, so it's likely a blind drunk illegal hispanic or some other non-White.

Talk about a guy who could not catch any breaks with injuries and now this. I hope the perp is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
