Former Texas great Earl Campbell said on a Fox interview that the only way that the University of Texas could be a winning team again was with Black qbs. He said he had no ill feelings toward the starting Texas qb but the game has changed and when a play broke down they needed someone who could move and make something happen with their feet. This could only happen with a Black qb.

I saw that too. What’s ironic is that Ehlinger is a mobile qb who makes plenty of plays with his feet. Another bit of irony is when Campbell listed tagulova as a black qb - tagulova actually throws from the pocket much more than runs the ball.

Former Texas Tech NB Justus Parker who was booted from the team over the summer for taking a substance that he didn’t know was banned has found a new home after sitting this year out. He will play for NAIA Langston Univeristy which is a HBCU. Glad to see he will get to continue to play, I thought he was going to have a big season this year but at least it isn’t the end.

No use in chastising Tate Martell anymore since it has been done ten times over by me and others for his decision to transfer to Miami. And as predicted it has been a disaster. At the end of the day this historically caste team really didn't try too hard to incorporate Tate into the offense. The move to WR was an unmitigated disaster and a reminder that position changes for QBs is not advisable except for the most extreme cases.

I think the obvious call is for Tate to high tail his way out of Miami and transfer to a school where he has a good chance of succeeding. He is taking another leave of absence from Miami (see below and read between the lines of a coaching staff that pretends to support him) but he is young enough to redeem himself and become the star dual threat QB he was destined to be.

By the way odious Miami got upset by FIU last week and they can't blame that loss on Tate. I feel bad for the young man.

I second that Shadowlight. It seems a lot of our guys are just plain naive to the caste system they're up against. It's good to have confidence in yourself but these recruits have got to look at the bigger picture, which sometimes means spurning some of the traditional powerhouses for smaller ones with more guaranteed playing time and room for growth. I'd argue Martell's career was finished as soon as he chose to be a Buckeye. A school that worships Black QBs, he never had a chance. I'd like to see Martell end up in The MAC(NIU?!) even FCS.

Yeah, a player like Tom Brady couldn't possibly play for Texas because he isn't black.

I am in total agreement with you! Martell also seems to have a bit of an entitlement mentality to him. I have to wonder what made him decide in Miami in the first place - they have not been a solid / relevant program since the early 2000s. Every year it be about dat return of Da U - same f’n song and dance every year. If Martell was smart he would transfer again.

Diaz did not make the right decision so far in starting two black quarterbacks this year either so that is worth noting as well.

All Martell is doing is looking at flashy, big time schools and picking them. Martell needs to be looking at schools where 1)he has a good chance of playing right away 2) the team has a pass first offensive system which will allow him to showcase his ability. So basically, pick a place which will be a showcase for his skills. That type of team will NOT be a big time program.(think Josh Allen at Wyoming) .

There are about 130 fbs teams and 124 fcs teams. He can't find a school to showcase him out of 254 programs. Nonsense.

Martell could transfer to a low ranking fbs school. He would have to sit out another year. But he is already a third year sophomore.

I think he should transfer to a top 20 fcs school that has a winning tradition. An fcs school that is focused on a passing offense- which would increase the chance of having good receivers.

He can get to the NFL via the FCS. Devlin Hodges, of fcs Samford, is playing for the Steelers. Hopefully, he will do something like this. But Martell would have to change his thinking process about himself and college football, which is unlikely.

Looks like caste infected Penn State HC James Franklin isn't going anywhere after all. He just got a huge extension that runs through 2025.

His recruiting is seeped in caste. While his 2021 commit form athletic WR Liam Clifford deviates form his norm I suspect it is a one off.

Sounds like Caste Clown Lane Kiffin is going to be the next Ole Miss coach. I don't know how that bodes for the gifted QB Plumlee.

Interesting, Kiffin supposedly likes athletic QBs.. Can they be White though?

@Shadowlight that's a bummer. Was hoping he'd end up at FSU.

Free Shoes hires their new head coach. Nothing to see here - my guess is he will completely sell out to the caste system and trot out black quarterbacks (Brady White/Riley Ferguson were his QBs at memphis). I expect him to go full Justin Fuente at FSU.

Florida State have officially hired former Memphis HC Mike Norvell to serve in the same capacity.
Norvell to Florida State has been swirling around for days, but with Memphis' season over (minus the bowl game), both sides have locked it in. In four seasons at Memphis, Norvell held a 38-15 record and finished 2019 with an AAC conference title. Florida State were 28-22 over that same span with zero ACC titles or appearances. Norvell is an offensive mind who specializes in pistol-spread offense.

Not the ideal landing spot for a white QB - hopefully it works out for the best.

Senior QB Jake Bentley announced on Monday that he will be transferring to Utah.

Bentley was South Carolina's starting quarterback for three and a half seasons before missing much of 2019 with a foot injury. Playing in fewer than four games made him eligible to consider 2019 a redshirt year and retain the year of eligibility. With Ryan Hilinski playing well in his place, Bentley chose to announce his transfer intentions a week ago. Now, Bentley has landed on his new destination in Utah, where he will be taking over for senior QB Tyler Huntley after he leaves following the 2019 season. 2020 will be Bentley's final season of eligibility.

If it works out for Bentley, it should make Utah that more watchable. Hoping it does for him.

Today he announced he will actually not transfer to Langston and will graduate from Texas Tech and hang up the cleats. Good luck to you Justus in your future endeavors. His game ending INT in Austin against Texas in 2017 will live on forever, along with that great 2nd Team All-Big 12 season he had that year.

Just fired BC HC Steve Addazio has been hired as the head coach for Colorado State. He is replacing caste hole Steve Bobo who ruined the team. Addazio had a mixed record at Boston College but he has to be considered an upgrade over Bobo.

I don't think Addazio is a down the line caste coach and I don't reflexively dislike him.

On a personal note years ago ( it was an Italian thing ha) I knew one of his family members. Steve played football at Central Connecticut ( early 80's) and had a brother who played with him but I can' remember if he was his twin. I had never met Steve or his brother.

But the Addazio I knew was an incredibly nice person. One of the best and most memorable people I have ever known. I am not kidding.

Not sure if anyone noted that Ed McCaffrey has been hired as the coach of Northern Colorado......I checked on Matt Gadek, the kid from Texas that rushed for nearly 600 yards in on game a couple years ago.....No D1 offers, of course....He’ll be a redshirt sophomore next year.....Hopefully Ed will give this kid some carries......

That sounds like a match made in Heaven. Hope to ss Gadek out there doing his thing soon. The kid can really play. I see no reason that he won't continue to shine once given the chance!

Adazio to CSU isn't the worst.. But he is a black quarterback lover.

Very interesting to see McCaffrey take over as University of Northen Colorado Head Coach! He's replacing Earnest Collins JR who compiled a pathetic 28-72 career record in 9 years as HC. I'd say The Bears were due for an upgrade. Northern Colorado has produced some notables talent in the past; WR Brad's Pyatt, DE Aaron Smith, SS Reid Doughty, WR Vince Jackson, and recently QB Kyle Sloter and RB Austin Ekeler.

Should be GREAT News For Matt Gadek.

I am in the "glass half full" category in regards to McCaffrey jumping into the FCS college ranks. I feel that if anyone knows the score it is Ed McCaffrey and his family since he and all of his sons have endured the caste system and come out on top. We can only hope the FCS stint is successful and leads him to an FBS job where he brings a much fairer and open minded approach in who he recruits. My guess is he would end up in the MWC/Pac 12 IF he is successful at Northern Colorado.

I should dislike N. CO just because a hunting guide on a busted trip was once their stud MLB, his friggin horse nearly killed me then he damned near left me on the mountain, but good for Ed. If I ever get the chance I will ask him if he is going to be the usual caste clown scamster that 95% of college coaches are.
