Looks like we are being proven correct on Tagiolova - Mac Jones has come in performed just as well.

Everytime I watch Trevor Lawrence play he makes the game look so easy. He reminds me of a modern day Steve Young. He will beat you with his arm or legs. He is like Josh Allen but in the long run will probably be even better. You are witnessing greatness. At the half he has over 200 yards passing and almost 50 rushing. It's like video game stats. Love this kid! Go Clemson!

When doing the Arizona St write up I came across alot of buzz about QB/Athlete Ethan Long. Herm Edwards was talking him up big time as someone who will get alot of chances to touch the ball (like Taysom Hill). So far he has 6 carries for 32 yards. Edwards is nothing but a "rah rah" chest thumping snake oil salesman. Hopefully Long and Yellen both transfer out of Az St.

Logan Rudolph with a fumble recovery for a TD. Fumble was forced by Clemson LB Chad Smith!

Lawrence reminds me alot of Andrew Luck. Just a natural at the position - Big, strong and athletic too.

Dalton Rigdon just had a 48 yard TD catch. He burned everyone.
Rigdon is on Texas Tech. I mention this for those who would have to look that up, like I did. ;)

btw, great job to all of our college football contributors. I appreciate you guys watching the games and reporting so I don’t have to.

Michigan suprises me tonight. I had no idea that they were capable of playing a complete game against a top 10 team. It's about time they did something.

3 top ten teams lost today. Crazy day.

Joe Burrows has to still be the favorite for the heisman trophy. He was 32 of 42 passes for 321 yards against a top 10 team. Coming into today he had a 80% completion percentage
for the whole season and they are still undefeated!

That game was played in bad conditions in the first half. Michigan did show up big though. I think the best thing about today is that Tagilova is a system QB - Hurts was just as good as him, Mac Jones steps in and Alabama does not miss a beat. It will be funny to see who reaches for a brown skinned game manager in the 1st round.

Arconado dropped a perfectly thrown pass by Gordon and it resulted in an int in the end zone. Gordon looks good - has really put himself on the map as a draft prospect.

Mike Leach (who seems to have a look of disgust permanently implanted on his face) is a moron for this type of play calling and underutilizing a weapon like Borghi. And in this particular case, it has nothing to do with anti-white racism, it’s the pass heavy system that largely ignores the running game. But a smarter coach would tweak his playbook to take advantage of a guy like Borghi and his skill set.

Walk-on senior WR Ethan Fernea led UCLA in receiving with 3-45 in their win over Arizona State tonight.

ECU WR Tyler Snead had 69 receiving yards and also a 100 yard kick return TD today. I believe he is the first white guy to return a kickoff for a TD this year. He had 222 total yards today.

Also Bailey Gaither with the catch of the year!

Teammate Brandon Arconado had 9 receptions for 130 yds and 2 TDs.

Overall not a terrible week - loved Oklahoma losing to KSU. Burrow played well once again against a good defense (every week I hear people say he needs to show up and play against a big defense - he has torched every SEC defense he has faced) and should be a 1st round lock. Herbert was solid in the win vs Washington St. leading them down the field late in the game to win it. Considering Oregon has a decimated WR/TE corp they are relying on the run more but Herbert is still making plays when needed. A quick scan shows alot of white QBs with pretty solid rushing numbers. Also as the season has gone on I have noticed the number of starting black quarterbacks has dwindled.

The down year for WRs does not really bother me - at this point it's all cyclical - we have had big years by guys like Samardzija and Hass and then a lull for a few years. Perhaps it is a little worrisome but I am sure next season we will get some more production from white WRs. Overlooked have been solid years by several white TEs - guys like Harrison Bryant FAU, Charlie Kolar ISU and Giovanni Ricci WMU are having great years.

I totally agree with this. I do not think Leach is a caste guy but his offense and overall game plan is one dimensional. Borghi is getting alot of carries and will come close to 1k yards rushing (he is almost at 1k combine passing yards and will easily by pass that).

I watched the first half of the Michigan - Notre Dame game and the conditions were sloppy. Both Patterson and Book had issues due to the weather - I wouldn't hold this game against either of them (although much of the draftnik weenie media will).

See exhibit A:

Notre Dame redshirt junior QB Ian Book completed just 8-of-25 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in a 45-14 throttling by Michigan on Saturday.
Book also added 13 yards on the ground. Speaking of running the football, Notre Dame wasn't able to do it at all on Saturday, which put a lot of pressure on the 6-foot, 212-pound signal-caller. He wasn't up to the task. To be fair to Book, the weather outside was frightful, but a 32 percent completion percentage is still a 32 percent completion percentage. Against better competition, Book just hasn't stepped up. He and the Irish will look to get back on track against the Hokies of Virginia Tech next Saturday.

And this was from a live blog - I found it totally comical as Michigan's WRs are not very good. Michigan does not have any playmakers - they have a downhill running game and some big name recruits who never lived up to their arbitrary recruit ranking - let's not forget last week when Patterson threw the ball right into the WRs chest as the potential tying TD and he dropped it:

Can say the same thing about Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson. Despite his hype as a 5-star recruit, he has never delivered on that promise with his play. Limits the talented playmakers Michigan has, especially at wide receiver. AJ

Utah State black quarterback had another bad game - I was watching the Oregon - Wazzu game and Air Force - Utah St game side by side - their is no comparing Herbert and Love. Herbert was superior in every aspect of his game. The 1st round hype for Love is baffling - he does not even possess the elite traits that made Josh Allen a viable 1st round pick - not as big, athletic and a lesser arm than Allen.

Amazing how three hard working lunch pail-ers are leading division 1 in solo and total tackles per game with so much black talent permeating through college football

Thanks TwentyTwo for the wrap. And other posters.

I watched most of that PENN-Yale game and white skill players were blowing up all over the field see above. PENN WR Cragun as I mentioned before is only a sophomore. JP Shofti of Yale in a fair world would be a late round draft pick. Speedy and versatile.

Since most here aren't privy to "inside" information on Yale the scoop is Zane Dudek has not been fully healthy, even at the start of the season.

But Zane said after the game he is starting to feel like his old self. Look out.

Very pleased odious Oklahoma lost. New defensive star emerges for Kansas State. Edge sophomore Wyatt Hubert was all over QB Hurts the entire game. Disrupted everything. By the way those "athletes" on the Oklahoma defense were exposed.

But overall the day felt boring. Too many rain soaked affairs like Notre Dame and Michigan, especially the first half.

While I like Nebraska head coach Scott Frost I for one didn't think he was the best pick for the job because in my mind Nebraska should be built around a medieval defense. That said QB Noah Vedral who was in and out due to an injury (CM's brother Luke made an appearance), looks like he could be a good one if he gets a chance.

In a hurry maybe more later.

A few more odds and ends. Great to see Oklahoma blow a tire against the likes of CB Jon Durham as well as the nifty combo of WR Schoen/QB Thompson.

Yale has multiple stud skill players and there is a new one. Got to watch freshman WR/KR #86 Joey Felton return kicks. He is leading the Ivy with a 26.2 average on nine kick returns. How fast did he look to me? A human blur. You can see why he was a Maryland indoor sprint champ. WOW.

WR Ryan Cragun leads the Ivy in receiving despite missing a game. Through five game his stats are 36-604-2.

In the Ohio State game I admit DE Chase Young was a menace and is now getting Heisman hype. Although Wisconsin had a TE blocking him on some plays. Stupid move. But while I saw LB Pete Werner collect one of Young's forced fumbles I didn't realize Werner was Johnny on the spot on another Young Forced fumble. I still think a QB will win the Heisman as LSU QB Burrow looks like the clear leader thus far. Problem is Bama looks to me to have the better over all team so when they play in two weeks it will probably factor into the Heisman voting.
