I want to start a thread for the young australian sprinter Rohan Browning. He is only 21 years of age and already is one of the fastest australian sprinters ever! The kid already has a personal best time of 10.08! Despite the setback at the World Championships in Doha, his future is bright! Keep a close eye on this kid!

Spike Magazine did a interview & story on Rohan Browning. It explains alot of the reason for his poor perfomance at the 2019 World Championships. This kid will be back in 2020 both stronger
and faster. He is very gifted both mentally & physically. I fully expect him to go sub 10 next year and qualify for the Olympics.

WL thanks for the heads up on the article. He lets us know he is human just like the rest of us..

The draw of sprinting is huge, my track buddy is 48 and gets regular Physio and some type of shot into his heel to allow him to train and compete in the Masters category. NO glory, no endorsements just the need for speed.

that 10.08 had the best allowable wind 0f 2mps and now he's run 10.06 with that slightly illegal +2.2 mps.
I'd like to see he and Jack push each other to these times without any wind at all which means they'll more likely run fast in any conditions. That means improving by a metre/metre and a half in real time and that should come with maturity as long as he is careful to try to remain injury free.
