It's possible and I hope he does. To be honest though, that run by Lemaitre was incedible at that age as he only had a .02 wind to aid him. He did it by himself under pressure. Oh as
good as Christophe Lemaitre was, to think how great he could have been if he trained properly like Boling does! Boling trains till exaustion according to his coach. He has the right work ethic.

Matt Boling can become one of the most famous sprinters on the planet if he continues to progress and he stays hungry to be the best in the world! He has the potential and I hope he fullfills it! :)
Lemaitre trained to exhaustion too .... but the 2nd 200 nearly killed him LOL

Boling's father said in an interview that he"cringes" when he hears the name white lighting. Also in the same article Boling's track coach at Georgia said his best chance at the 2020 Olympics would be in the long jump, not the 100 meters.

Yeah, I saw it. I just read the article in the dentist office waiting room yesterday. I probably should have swiped it :)

Is he running the U18 championships? I'm going to go on Track and Field News and see if they have an entries list.

No, he should be in the U20 championships that started yesterday.

Matthew Boling, the Texan who ran the fastest all-conditions 100m in high school history, plans to compete in next month’s USATF U20 Outdoor Championships and, should he make the national team, the Pan American U20 Championships in July, his coach said Tuesday.

Boling does not plan to compete in the senior USATF Outdoor Championships, which are one week after the Pan American U20 Championships.

“That’s a place where he can go and be successful, not be thrown to the wolves,” Houston Strake Jesuit coach Chad Collier said of U20 competition versus senior nationals. “He has an opportunity to get on the [medal] stand in several events, then get a chance to go to the University of Georgia, be a freshman, be a college student.”

The USATF U20 Outdoor Championships air on USATF.tv+ for subscribers from June 21-23. Boling is on the qualifiers list in the 100m, 200m and long jump.

Boling, who turns 19 on June 20, is eligible to compete at senior nationals. He qualified in the 100m on May 11 by clocking a wind-legal 10.13 seconds at his state championships (one of the fastest, but not the fastest time by a U.S. high schooler in history).

Boling first garnered internet buzz by running 9.98 on April 27, though that was with a 4.2 meter/second tailwind, more than twice the legal limit (breaking Trayvon Bromell‘s record for the fastest 100m by a high schooler regardless of wind reading). The time converted to around a 10.16 in still conditions.

Boling ranks tied for 14th in the U.S. in the 100m this year, according to the IAAF. The top six at senior nationals are likely to make the world championships 4x100m team.

Boling may be a better long jumper. He ranks fifth in the U.S. in that event this season, having leaped 8.01 meters.

Boling also split a 44.75 on a 4x400m relay on May 11, which would rank sixth in the U.S. this year for the individual 400m, though relay splits are faster than times off flat starts.

I really hope Matthew Boling can kill it this weekend! He is under so much pressure yet remains the nicest most humble teenager ever! Even his dad said he hopes his son
doesn't lose his innocence and how humble he is. The kid already has over 100,00 followers on his instagram and twitter is probably even more than that. He is a superstar
in everyway except when you hear him talk. Intelligent, kind, compasionate, and just a great human being. It's a throwback to when this country had better morals & values.

Good luck to to the new "Flash Gordon" Matthew Boling! Go show the world what you can do!

I think his nickname should be the white god and he should appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated dressed like Apollo, but his dad probably wouldn't appreciate that.

I haven't seen the video of that race yet but he had already ran a prelim 100 meters and took 6 long jump attempts before the 100 final and still won. Talk
about a full days work and he still has the 200 meters to go tommorow. He lost the long jump by about an inch to 2 jumpers who had the same exact leaps.

Here is a video from around a month ago. Look at the separation he gets in this win running a 10.10 which was adjusted up to 10.11

What I see in Matthew is a winners mentality, heart of a lion, his start in the final was not a good one but his will to win, his natural blazing speed allowed him to overcome the start. I think his 30-100m in his final was faster than his semifinal. Once this kid gets stronger and he continues to grow into his body he will go sub 10. I truly hope his college track coach does the right thing with him. His parents will need to be involved to make sure he does not get screwed over.

I believe his \HS coach has done quite a wonderful job in training him, the negative side is Boling has said his favorite event is the long jump. As a former HS sprinter and current Masters sprinter I can say jumps are hard on the back, knees and hamstrings. As a coach I would steer him away from jumps.

On a humorous side, all the Negro kids in the semis and final can all tell their friends etc I was in the race where Boling "kicked our ass and spring boarded him to great things at the beginning of his career" :aaaaa:

Here's an interesting article from Sports Illustrated about Matthew Boling.
He runs in the US Junior Championships this weekend.
https://www.si.com/edge/2019/06/19/...igh-school-senior-sprinter-viral-social-media

I am familiar with the writer Tim Layden and he has covered Track and Field for a while now. Not overly caste but has a touch of it like so many other sports writers.

Three things stand out in the article for me. One pertains directly to this site.

One, he briefly gives a history of fast white sprinter champs or medalists since the 1970's. Although he conveniently leaves out women which muddies up the blacks are faster water a little bit more.

Second I got the impression he was slagging Boling just a bit and more than hinted that long jumping is his best chance to make noise.

But the third issue bears investigating. I will quote the article:

"The Internet gave Matthew a nickname" White Lightening. He doesn't like it. The Internet did other things, too. Websites devoted to white nationalist and neo-Nazi voices adopted Boling. It was obscene."

Remember when SI did a full length feature on CM a while back the writer also alluded to what he described as "dark websites."

Perhaps someone here can clarify what web sites Layden is citing? Breitbart is considered I believe a nationalist site but does anyone know if they have "adopted" Boling. I don't read Breitbart anymore. I used to check in on their sports segments for about a year but stopped. I doubt they have adopted Boling.

After a quick search I couldn't find any Neo Nazi sites "adopting" Boling?

And if there was ever a time to bring up this site why did Layden not mention Caste Football by name?

A curious case. Given that this site is the premiere site focused on white athletes on planet earth was he afraid of giving this site free publicity. Would it have killed him to at least mention the site in passing by saying there is a website exclusively devoted to white athletes where members cheer on white athlete's exploits?

Is he lying about the white and national neo Nazi stuff? This site doesn't fit into white nationalism per say and it is surely not a neo- Nazi site. Layden has some answering to do and I wonder if he just made up this stuff to juice the story up and make white fans look racist. Whenever a white athlete threatens the grand narrative all of a sudden Nazis are involved according to the writer. It is discouraging.

The Undefeated web site that ESPN owns and promotes is about black athletes. Castefootball is about white athletes. The Undefeated is part of the mainstream. Caste Football can't even garner a blurb in an article that practically begs the writer to at least mention it.

This scenario reinforces the great hypocrisy. The media thinks it is charming and cute and right on for black fans to root for black players due to their race.

On the flipside if white fans root for white athletes because of their race it is considered evil by the media.

What is good for the goose apparently isn't good for the gander. Unfair.

LOL Shadowlight! You know that the Ministry of Truth has decreed that anyone who celebrates anything white, or takes pride in white accomplishments is a NAZI! Only if you are "diverse" can you take pride in your people! So this site, by the official definition put out by the lords of language and all things correct, is a White Nationalist, Neo-Nazi, White Supremacist site of ill repute! Just so you know.
