Hoping for the best for you Extra Point. This is just a suggestion EP, but if you are not having any problems such as bleeding or stomach pains and it just a regular schedule colonoscopy. I recommend the cologuard test, its 92% effective and you do it in the privacy on your home. Yes I have done it twice, didn't have any problems at all. It is also covered under Medicare.

Got the test. Fortunately it doesn't look as if I have cancer as my doctor wanted to rule out. Thanks for the well wishes and suggestions. I'll check into the cologuard thing, thanks Booth.

EP, sorry I just saw this post. Just haven't had time to get on the site much lately. I'm happy for you. The news sounds good. I have survived two different kinds of Cancer myself now. I was diagnosed with throat Cancer three years ago on my birthday and just had some skin Cancers removed from my face. I have been thinking about a coloscopy, but I guess I've been through so much with my throat Cancer, I just don't feel like doing it. Can you give any advice? Again, I'm glad you're alright. Thanks for letting us know. Everyone needs prayers.

My thinking is the test process is unpleasant but having cancer would be much more unpleasant. If your doctor recommends it I would get the colonoscopy.

The big problem is the preparation. You have to drink some vile liquid solutions to clean out your system the night before and the morning of the test. It might make you a bit sick.

The test itself isn't that bad though you have to get an IV.

Some suggestions. Schedule the test in the afternoon. You have to drink a solution in the morning and you will be running to the bathroom all morning.

There are different solutions. The one they gave me was 16 ounces in the evening and 16 ounces the next day along with lots of water. The stuff was vile. What I did is hold my breath and drink down as much as I could. I drank the first dose in 3 draughts and the second dose in two draughts. Be prepared to run to the bathroom - a lot.

You can't eat the day before. According to the list they gave me you can drink clear liquids, water, black coffee are ok. I'd suggest getting some beef and chicken bouillon cubes.

I'm not a doctor but if there's any chance of cancer I'd get the test. Catch it early if you can.

Hope this helps. Any more questions don't hesitate to ask. You will be in my prayers.

Well here's something new. I keep getting a harrassing phone call from some scammer claiming to be from Apple, which of course they're not. The phone company, AT@T says to try *60 but that doesn't work. I called the FCC and they said there's nothing they can do about it.

They called me 10 times today already. Am I going to have to listen to this the rest of my life?

For those who like Jeopardy -- one of the very very few non-sports and non-politics shows I watch -- there's a great champion on these days named James Holzhauer, who is a 34 year old professional gambler from Las Vegas. Before he was on the all-time single show record for winnings was $77,000; Holzhauer averages nearly that much each game!

He's up close to 20 wins in a row now, which will soon get him into second place in that category. The all-time Jeopardy champ is Ken Jennings, who won an astounding 74 games in a row in 2004.

BTW, Jeopardy host Alex Trebek, 78, was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the prognosis isn't good. He's been a fixture on the show since 1984.

Interesting about Jeopardy. Caught about 20 seconds of midget Pablo Torre on ESPN boasting how Holzhauer has "Asian Ancestry". Once again minorities claiming someone as their own, completely ignoring any white ancestry the person may have. That's America these days. All the ESPN hosts seem to think he's destined to work for a MLB team.

Holzhauer mentioned his Japanese grandmother on one show. Looking at him my guess would be that he's three-fourths White and one-quarter Japanese. I was watching ABC News recently when they did a story on him, with his mention of his Japanese grandmother featured prominently; can't let the audience get away with thinking he's a pure White man.

Has anyone got a good look at the royal baby yet? Is it White or off/White?

Looks mixed to me, but he's too young to tell. Technically, this baby's 6/8 white and 2/8 black. Regardless, that's none of my concern. What concerns me is that in the UK even the royal families now mix the white kind. The US and the UK are doomed in my view. Of course, I could be very wrong, but that's how I see it. At the end of the day, it may be good for the white kind if the US and UK stop being majorly white countries. They won't be in a position to influence negatively the rest of the white world, as in these two countries the media have huge power. Too many white anti-whites there who have an agenda against the white race. They are as awaken as we are, but they just look at the exactly different direction we do. They are not bad people or anything, they are just not good for our standards and the traditional patriots who want a clean race and country. But then again, that's another long conversation. Bottom line, this baby will be so "charismatic" and so "talented" and so "cool" and so "different in a superior way" and so Awww and so Ohhhh blah blah. Barack Obama x100. Get ready!

Start looking at about 3:50 and you don't have to listen to all the jibberish. All imploded buildings fall the same way if done right.
Defunct Bethlehem Steel's 21-story HQ, Martin Tower, imploded ...

Pretty sad to see a symbol of a huge American Company - a titan of industry and of America 1.0 going out like that. I suppose it's appropriate that a token black and an asian woman from a very white area of PA are covering the story. Neither have any appreciate for Bethlehem steel, it's history or the region and workers throughout the company's history/existence. Just two non-white talking heads ready to see something blow up.

It always breaks my heart when I visit PA - so many towns that time forgot and globalization destroyed - Coal mines, steel mills, manufacturing all supported many of these now backwards towns filled with broken people. Minorities being shipped in from NY/NJ to take advantage of welfare programs and sink these small/medium sized towns into further depression. Strip Malls, family dollars and fast food restaurants litter so many of these great towns with so much great history.

James Holzhauer is now up to 32 straight Jeopardy wins and has over $2.5 million in winnings. I haven't watched a lot of his wins but have only seen one game where an opponent had a chance to beat him. His knowledge of trivia is superb, will be interesting to see how long his winning streak goes. He's already run roughshod over all previous Jeopardy champions except for Ken Jennings' great run in 2004 when he won 74 straight games.

Alex Trebek is doing very well so far with his cancer treatments. He's been hosting the show with a lot of class since 1984 and is now 78 years old.

Seems the disgruntled worker down in Va. who killed 12 people yesterday was a black guy. "Disgruntled worker" is a euphemism for black guy. All blacks are disgruntled when they're told to do work.
