Thanks for the video of his race. His start was a bit slow but once he came out of his drive phase he was flying. He looks very good this early in the season. Wishing him luck, speed and no niggles or injuries.

Thank you. Nationals in 2 weeks

Thanks for the video Mielie23. He looked very powerful and was one of only 2 sprinters that were the class of the field. I must say though I didn't like the
fact that some of the other guys didn't seem to want to shake Emilies hand afterwards. Sad to see.

to be fair W/L, they all only congratulated the victor, not each other. To the victor the spoils!
You asked me about Browning and 200s. He does them on occasion. The last 2 seasons he's done 1 or 2 to get around 20.70. I think he does them only for a little speed endurance perhaps

Emile might not make nationals. Has an infection in his hamstring. Went for scans today and they found some moisture on his hamstring. Started treatment and rehab today. Sad news!!

I'm very happy to see Devin Quinn running such an fast time coming off what we thought was a injury just a couple of weeks ago. He has been so good this year and
very consistant. Glad he ran this 10.19 time wind legal. Hope he can p.b. at the conf champs or national champs!

let's hope Hari is fit and inspired. A fairly average national record these days (10.26 / +1.6) but hopefully it'll give him the kick along he's been needing

I wonder where the heavy hitters from China are? I haven’t seen any 100m times from Su Bingtian this year.
They are probably gearing up for the worlds which are later this year.

The Asian champions are really a minor championship, it's only because Asian sprinting has improved that being a champion means anything now. In the recent past times that won medals were club level times.

Regarding Ramil Guliyev:

"Breaking the championship record and my lifetime best in Berlin was fantastic but I am sure I can go even faster."

Ramil Guliyev opens his season in the Doha Diamond League next Friday over 200m and he is looking to run even faster than his lifetime best of 19.76 in 2019."

thanks for the update. Better safe than sorry.
I guess top sprinters are forever walking the tightrope between reaching the best they can be and being cut down by injury.
We'll watch out for his recovery and subsequent season progression.

Hi guys, check this video of the SA nationals woman 400mh. Her name is Zeney van der Walt she is 20 years old and finished 2nd in the U20 world rankings in 2018. Big future. The girl that finished 2nd in the nationals is Wenda Nel a 2016 olympian. Zeney ran a 55.93!

What a great pic! This is the ultimate eye opener the the average dwf in sports. Whites can sprint! We also can jump
if anyone here or out there ever bothers to watch the high jump competitions world wide. I wish Jon Entine could
see this pic. Congrat to Illinois on winning this 4 x 100 Relay in one of the biggest U.S. Track meets outside of the
Penn Relays or Mt Sac.
