Up this week on the Thursday week 11 opening salvo is the Packers vs. Pete's Plantation, AKA the Seahawks. It's not much of a contest as to who we will be rooting for, despite the Pack's best efforts to "blacken up".

Of course one of the big stories this week is the Mexico City turf thing. Many here in KC, including the league-renowned turf guru George Toma say it's pure bunk. To resod a stadium with 9 days to do it is not a problem, especially in a stadium where it's 75 degrees and sunny all of the time. Lincoln Field was 75% resodded only 5 days prior to last years NFC championship game in freaking Philly. Arrowhead here in KC was completely redone a week before the 2017 Steelers-Chiefs game, no problem in below-freezing temperatures.

Clark Hunt did a news conference and basically laid it all on the Rams. He stated that none of the Chiefs players objected to the venue or playing surface, only the Rams. And since the league is interested in mollifying players, and trying to avoid "bad publicity" in regards to them, they announced the move within 45 minutes of the players complaining! They figure the move is better than players boycotting the game or other things that may once again tank ratings and attendance like the whole kneeling thing.

...And the main reason for all of this was just an excuse to move the game back to L.A. It's a hugely important game for the Rams as they are 1 win up on the Saints and will lose a tiebreaker for home field. So why would they want to play in Mexico, where the Chiefs are very popular, when they can have it as a home game? Fat Bastard would be wise to use this as motivation, "They were afraid to play us in Mexico City, let's take it to them in L.A.!"

Panthers are playing in Detroit, looks like a decent game for McCaffrey to go wild. He's on pace for just over 1000 yards on the ground and nearly 800 through the air. Funny that Panthers released CJ Anderson when he voiced his frustration with the lack of snaps/carries (he did have 1k rushing with Broncos last season).

Pack Starting 3 of 4 Pale Faced LBs: Matthews, Martinez, and Fackrell. Along with Dean Lowry on defense. Lancaster should also factor in along that DL.

Matthews already with a a Forced Fumble!

Crosby just shanked another. GB could be on the lookout for a new Kicker.

4th String TE Robert Tonyan (6'-5" 237) just caught a 53 yard TD catch from Aaron Rogers looked like a WR on that play!

Is he the first white Packer TE since Mark Chmura? I’ve been following this organization for quite a while, and two things they don’t have are white TEs and safeties, for whatever reason.

I wonder how this fellow Tonyan slipped thru the cracks.

They did have a 3rd string TE Matthew Perillo for a couple of years a few seasons back.

Kyler Fackrell with the TFL on RB & SAck of Wilson in consecutive plays!

While at Utah State (only Offer from D1 School) it was Easy to see this explosive athlete's Skill set would translate to the NFL. Raw with Upside!
Will never forget the 99 yard INT TD vs. Hawaii

GB's back-up TE Robert Tonyan is the only white pass-catcher on their roster while being burried at TE, but he just made the most of a rare look hauling in an explosive 54 yard TD which was his first career rec and TD!

Tonyan showed some great speed on his big TD burning a couple black DB's on the way, and he likely earned a bigger role going forward.

Pete’s despicable plantation is able to defeat packers. That packers secondary is god awful.

Fat Bastard II Mike Mcarthy is a total dummy. Don’t really care about either team, but I hate Pete’s plantation.

First, he should’ve challenged that long pass play on third down, which was clearly incomplete. Next play the Blackhawks got a TD.

Second, why are you punting with 4:32 left and one timeout? They had to go for it, they were never going to get the ball back.

I hope he’s fired after this season. He has certainly had a hand in the de-whitening process at GB over the years, has jerked around a number of promising white WRs, and cost them a lot of crucial wins with lousy, conservative play calling, as witnessed tonight.

I didn't see Tonyan after his big play. The over-rated and oft injured Graham did leave with yet another injury. Tonyan could of been a target in the middle of the field.

I watched most of this game, and kept wondering why is Tonyan not playing, after his big TD catch and especially with Graham going out. Reminded me of Jeff Janis, who had that huge game against AZ in the divisional round, and pretty much never played again and run out of the league.

F*** Mike Mcarthy.

Very happy for Fackrell who DWFs and Anti White Media were ready to toss to the side going in to his 3rd year! He's showing up Big Time once he's been allowed to play as a starter, what a coincidence .

I didn't catch the 2nd half but on my way home from work I made a comment to my brother guaranteeing Pack wouldn't target Tonyan again after his athletic, field stretching play. Sure enough..

Tramon Williams has got to be the shittiest FS I've ever seen. Over the hill, frail, not physical, slow.

Green Bay has been drafting affletic CBs and Safeties for years now with zero success .

So Green Bay's white defensive players play stand out football throughout the game only to be let down by a coterie of abysmal black defensive backs. You could write a novel the size of War and Peace on the subject. The same old story. Horrible black DB play is now a staple of NFL football.

That said WR Davante Adams is a big play threat but he has to be the slowest big play threat in the NFL. Decent size but he was a mid 4.5 guy out of college but safe bet he is a 4.6 plus guy now. His 4.3 short shuttle was rather pedestrian. That said the two hot shot "ultra athletic" WRs the Packers drafted this season were beyond bad. They were on a different script from Aaron Rodgers the entire night. Even the simple short passes weren't connecting. Perhaps these WRs improve over time but Rodgers isn't getting any younger and these unpolished projects will likely never pan out. Bad investment from a new front office hell bent on turning the Packers into a caste deluxe team.

Of course the bright spot last night was the play of the Packers white defenders. Clay Matthews was especially active. But the game ball goes to edge Kyler Fackrell.

I had never thought of Utah State until Mel Kiper raved about Fackrell after his terrific standout sophomore season. Heading towards the first round until tearing his ACL at the beginning of his junior season. What a blow. Fackrell recovered to play his senior year and performed quite well but the old explosion was missing.

He still managed to run a 4.72 come draft time but he still wasn't his old self. After two plus years of being a back up it sure is nice to see him make big noise this season. He is on a current tear as far as sacks and it appears that after years in the wilderness he has finally gotten his sea legs back. And to think the beat writers were thinking he would get cut before the season. ********.

Fackrell is playing so well of late he brings back memories of the great Bryce Paup right Bucky? In fact they are the same size. The Packers foolishly got rid of Paup in his prime. Paup then went on to Buffalo and had one of the greatest seasons ever by an edge player. See below Fackrell's great plays from last night. Missing from the video is a great tipped pass.

And perhaps I am reading too much into it but QB Aaron Rodgers does not look happy. He does not like this new front office and I don't blame him.

Looks like the "blank canvass" will be starting for the Ravens, with the immortal RGIII backing him up. I expect long-time head coaches John Harbaugh and Mike McCarthy to both be gone after this season, and Marvin X also.

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (hip) remains out of practice Friday, Nov. 16. Flacco is doubtful and it's looking like Lamar Jackson may see work. Robert Griffin III could see some snaps and maybe even take over if Jackson struggles, so the rookie is a boom/bust streamer/superflex/QB2 this week.

Another black quarterback - just what the league needs. All of that one read and take off and run upside. I’m glad Flacco seems to have taken a hands off approach with eraserhead. The Ravens have been lacking any real quality wrs for a few years now - 1st round busts and free agent busts proved that. Flacco played well this year and is only 33 - he has a certain aloofness like Cutler did which rubs all the dwfs and experts the wrong way. The Ravens drafted two very talented white TEs this year to give eraserhead two security blankets. As we have seen - the trend is to get a black quarterback a good to elite white tight end to bail him out. Scam has Olsen, Mahomes has Kelce, Prescott had Witten.

As I said above I am glad Flacco seems to have done nothing to help the intellectually deficient eraserhead. I prefer that to the coaching and knowledge transfer Smith gave to Mahomes in Kansas City. If anything white qbs should be mentoring other white qbs which is why I hope the redskins draft one of the top white qbs this year so Smith can mentor him.

Carolina up 7-0 on Detroit. CM? Oh yeah, basically ignored on the first possession. Olsen TD reception.
