Since 2005, Indiana has started 11, 12, 8, 9, 9, 11, 10, 10, 14, 9, 10, 11 and 9 whites. In 2018 they can start up to 13 white players if some position battles go our way.

They are projected to start the same offensive line they had in 2017 which could keep them as a sleeper team to keep an eye on. QB Peyton Ramsey started 4 games as a RS freshman in 2017 and if the coach does not favor one of his black quarterbacks and allows Ramsey to continue to develop after a solid freshman campaign this could be a team to watch. They potentially have 2 white WRs and a white RB starting for them as well in what could be a very enjoyable offense in the Big 10. Defense looks to have 3 white starters with some decent depth including a very good true freshman DB Jordan Jusevitch who may or may not play this year but is someone to keep an eye out for in the future.

Offense -
QB - Peyton Ramsey ***in a position battle with 2 black quarterbacks.
WR - Luke Timian
WR - Chris Gajcak ***in a position battle
RB - Cole Gest ***in a position battle/possible running back by comittee
TE - Ryan Watercutter
LT - Coy Cronk
LG - Wes Martin
C - Hunter Littlejohn
RG - Simon Stepaniak
RT - Brandon Knight

Defense -
DE - Gavin Everett
DT - Jacob Robinson
LB - Michal McGinnis **in a position battle

Back ups include TE Austin Dorris, C Nick Linder, DE Michael Ziemba, LB Thomas Allen, DB Jordan Jusevitch, DB Owen Strieter

Wow, Indiana’s offense has the potential to be Whiter than New England. Must watch if those position battles are won.

Thanks Leo.

Looks like the Hoosiers could be a team to root for if things fall into place which for this program is never a sure thing. Over the years they never seem to field as many white players as one would anticipate. But on paper things look more promising than usual.

That said this is a team I will rarely get to watch now that my cable service has dropped the Big Ten conference. That doubly sucks because the Big Ten is my favorite conference. I still get the Pac 12, in HD too, but it doesn't format well on my TV.

I don't want to pay extra for the SEC conference, my least favorite conference. I still get some local stations that pick up some ACC games although I think the ACC (is it next season) will end up going the pay extra route like the SEC. The Big 12 station was cut off a couple of years ago.

But between ESPN/ABC plus CBS and the Fox networks there will still be plenty to watch. NBC is mainly Notre Dame I believe.
