I thought Lukaku was worse than poor. He was clumsy and dreadful. No flexibility. He is nothing without his teammates setting him up. An overrated player. A straight line speed player with little agility.

Well, the last match was unfortunate. I would've rather seen Japan advance then the multi-kulti mess that "Belgium" are. Too bad the Japanese weren't able to defend. Now we get to delight in the media getting to fawn even more over all of Belgium's amazing blacks and Arabs. As Matra mentioned, if those two start, it'll be 6 whites for Belgium, right on England/France level. It would've been nice to see Japan win in the sense the media hated them for knocking "poor" Senegal out of the tournament on the "fair play" as well.

Mexico/Brazil was a wash for me. The bright side is the U.S. media here can stop fawning over Mexico. Speaking of them, the Mexicans extended their infamous streak of losing in the Round of 16 to 7 straight World Cups now. Brazil did look good, but Sweden also beat Mexico 3-0 as well.

Its really wonder that a team with a mug like Maya Yoshida in Central Defense is going to be in the quarter finals.

Haha, part of me knew it was too good to last.

Both Lukaku and Vincent Kompany were poor.

Lukaku missed when it was easier to score.
BTW what about Neymar's hilarious overeaction to the minor stomping he received from one of the Mexicans.

Do you and Engsieg browse on mobile?

Neymar scored a goal and assisted the other, but I am in no mood to praise him thanks to his sickening sickening theatrics.Robben and Suarez would have been proud of that.

The Belgium goals btw:

Vertonghen 69

Fellaini 74

Chadli 95

I'm with Shadowlight:

Like the Philosopher I think Brazil is in the drivers seat. At least Belgium could pull the upset. Japan would have been a walk in the park for Brazil.

This is the bright side of a Belgium win.The second blackest team after France(ignoring Colombia) will face a tough fight from Belgium.

Yes, but two Moroccan substitutes scored.

And Brazil would look like world beaters against Japan and then the media would fawn over them and they would have a lot of momentum going into the semis.Let's face it,Japan were never winning the thing,so its good they went out or Brazil would have a semi place booked already.

Most crucially with apologies to Harry Kane the best white player left in the tournament (unless I am missing someone) is Eden Hazard.

Agree. He was deservedly man of the match today.

De Bruyne is being played way out of position and I expect him to set the stage on fire if Martinez regains his sanity and fixes it.

As long as England, Belgium or France don't win I'll be happy.

Come on dude,Brazil is worse than all of those but France.England's spine, core players are completely white and Belgium's biggest stars are Hazard,De Bruyne.

Whereas, even the "white" players on Brazil's team like Coutinho and Felipe Luis look like they have some native indian genes.

I am missing the first match but should be able to take in the England match.

Philosopher and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to who to root for and I agree with his "European" pecking order with France being the worst of the lot which I believe is a consensus here. And good point about De Bruyne.

As for Eden Hazard I think the soccer world is coming to the realization that he is reaching superstar status. I will try and get a video of his magnificent assist on Belgium's second goal where he turned his defender into a pretzel and delivered an exquisite ball that was headed in.

Ronaldo is great and everything but lets face it he is a 'pretty boy." Hazard is more to my liking. A rough and tumble player not afraid of getting into the thicket the more you watch him the more you come away impressed. Below is an article stressing the importance of Hazard to Belgium. There is no doubt in my mind without Hazard Belgium would be lost.

Having had some time to think about the Japan/Belgium match, I suppose it is better that Belgium advance so they can try and knock out Brazil. You guys are right; Japan most definitely would've been a walk-over for Brazil, and I'd rather see Belgium get through than permanent media favorites Brazil. Even taking away the caste perspective, I still would not find Brazil of rooting interest due to the fact every time one of them gets tapped, they writhe like a fish out of water.

A great moment of class from Forsberg gave Sweden the 1-0 lead! Sweden are through to the QF!! "Switzerland" are out!! I hope Sweden have one more great game in them to knock out England/Colombia. Switzerland also has some of the most strict immigration laws in Europe, and this is their team? Yikes.

Unfortunately, with Lustig suspended for the QF, it'll probably be the black Martin Olsson starting in his place...

YESSSSSS!!!! Good riddance to Shitzerland!!! F**k Shaqiri, the squat little short-arse Albanian c**t!!! F**k Xhaka and his stupid surname!!! Good riddance to all the fake 'Secondo' trash in the Swiss team!!!

A shame the 'new' Swedes came on at the end, it looks like Durmaz the dunce has been benched for the rest of the tournament

I wish Forsberg could find his footballing skills again...

Here's his goal. And the fact that Forsberg was taken off at the 82nd method tells us how much the coach values him.

Just calling him a ******.That's what he,Neymar,Robben,Suarez,Diego Costa are.

I still prefer De Bruyne, and he's suffering as he's being placed out of position.
And Mertens was their best player last time around.

Durmaz the dunce has been benched for the rest of the tournament

half the footballing world called him a shits*in:roto2gay:

Glad we could concur, but I'm genuinely confused as to whom to back in the Colombia-England game.I think England deserve to get booted out for fielding a half-black team despite being 2% black as a nation.

Whatever one thinks of Colombian dindus, one can't say they don't represent their nation.

About 10 seconds after I posted that comment, Forsberg scored!

Actually, blacks are over-represented in Colombia's team as well. Africans only account for ~10% of Colombia's population, yet there are 5-6 of them starting for Colombia, with 10 total on the team. It's tough, but I suppose with the spine of England's team being made up of white players (the best on the team as well), I'll "root" for them, but I won't be too mad if England's majority black team gets knocked out. Whomever wins, Sweden is the team to root for in the QFs.

FIFA should address diving. All the countries with contact sports as the most popular are not big on soccer and it's no big surprise.

I don't even get how people defend it, Stamkos broke his leg and tried to get off the ice not ******** rocking on his back grabbing his leg.

There's lots of diving in hockey. It's been part of the game since the 1990s.

Okay,I didn't know that.I'll have a lukewarm feeling about the outcome of this match regardless.

Well from this perspective,Colombia is whom we must root for as they will be the easier opponent for Sweden,on paper.

And here's the goal

This Colombian team is the biggest bunch of play-acting idiots in WC history...

This is like watching an Athletico game, ugh.
