T.J. McConnell first in 76ers history with triple-double off bench

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...hiladelphia-76ers-history-triple-double-bench

Saw it in person.
Saw that the other night. Wasn't able to post it in the stats.
Also, Marco Belinelli signed with Philadelphia and scored 17 last night. Saric, Redick, McConnell , and now Belinelli making up for a pretty good Sixer team.

Herzonja, ORL: 21/10
gallinari, LAC: 20/9
Bogdanovic, SAC: 20
Saric, PHI: 19/8
Belinelli, PHI: 17. Nice Debut!
Redick, PHI: 14/7
Dragic, MIA: 18
Jurkic, POR: 17/13
Mirotic, NOP: 16/7
Valanciunas, TOR: 14/9
Len, PHX: 14/7

Nikola Jokic just set the NBA record for fastest triple double.

Racked it up in only 14 minutes 33 seconds of playing time:cool:

His line for the whole game was 30 points, 15 rebounds, 17 assists! Here are the highlights:

Check out the behind-the-back pass at 4:10 along the baseline for the assist to the other white player.

The Fox News anchor who told Lebron to "Shut up and dribble" has set off a firestorm on social media and lame stream talk television. Obviously she was button pushing but, you would never know from this retort from the full out Jewish Wigger Michael Rappaport.....

Rapaport is a grade A douche. He just got fired by Barstool Sports this weekend for being a loud mouthed *******.

I've always hated Rappaport. He comes across as a spoiled, entitled stupid Heeb who grew up very rich and has never been told no. I grew up around quite a few obnoxious JAPs like him.

He's very apologetic towards women here because he doesn't want to be accused of misogyny but his rant was also very racist toward White people. Although he doesn't try to say "sorry not all white people, not trying to sound racist, etc"

There wasn't much on last night so I thought I would tune into the NBA game to get a look at the Wizards PG Satoransky who has been playing well filling in for the injured Wall. Truth be told the Wizards have been playing better without Wall but Wall is one of those media heroes (athletic and fast) and the "experts" think it is ridiculous to suggest that Wall is anything but a great player that leads his team to victories.

But all of that is beside the point. Long brewing but I have more trouble watching the NBA now than I ever had. The biggest and most obvious reason is the lack of "great" white players. There are some white players on teams and some mentioned above that are making a name for themselves but it seems as if guys like Lebron James and Stephen Curry along with some other black players are the ones moving things around like on a big checkers board and the white players in general have been relegated to the shadows.

Even beyond the "white" situation I can't get into the style of play and the texture of the games. I can't put my finger exactly on the problem but all I know is I don't like watching it anymore and the games quickly bore me. I still watch college basketball but not randomly. I only watch the teams I am interested in.

So I will continue to follow the NBA on the periphery. I still hope that white players of significance emerge more and more so and that white players make some noise come playoff time. And I still keep tabs on how the white players are doing etc. But it is pretty much official. This long time NBA fan has officially had a divorce with the league and I suspect I won't be looking to get back engaged anytime soon.

Keeping an eye on the Philadelphia 76ers. They added Ersan Ilyasova and Marco Belinelli at the trade deadline. Saric and Redick start and McConnell, Ilyasova, and Belinelli are getting significant bench minutes. Hopefully this continues into the playoffs with 5 of their top 8 rotation guys are White.

A team none of us have talked about this season is the Portland Trailblazers who have won 11 straight games! They have
6 white guys on the team and are the 3rd highest seed in the nba western conf. standings. This team is very good and capable
of possible beating both the Rockets and the Warriors. Just wanted to see if anyone is watching these guys? Here is a link to
their nba roster.

A team from the east we should root for is the Philadelphia 76ers. They are on track for a 50 win season and might overtake the Cavs for the 3rd seed in the eastern conf playoffs. They beat Lebrons Cavs tonight.

They have 2 of our guys starting and 2 guys come off the bench.

The starters are D.Saric and JJ Reddick. Both of these guys lead the team in scoring many nights and are legitimate stars.

The two bench guys are Illysova (has been a starter before) and TJ McConnell.

This is one of the hottest teams in the nba over the last month or two. Check them out guys.

Marco Belinelli had 23 points tonight. The Sixers get significant contributions from five whites. Tonight whites scored a majority of the 76ers' 132 points with 71. Redick 28, Saric 3, Ilysova 17, Belinelli 23, and although McConnell had 0 points in 5 minutes, he did log an assist.

Oops I totally forgot about Marco Belinelli. Thanks for adding this. Even better as they are now even better to watch. All 5 of these guys can really play but Saric is my favorite depite having a bad game tonight. Just glad they won.

The 76ers are currently in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. The NBA Finals winner is typical no lower than a 3 seed, so this Sixers team really does have a real chance in the playoffs. I'm looking forward to watching them in the playoffs.

The White players on the team are also fairly young, so they could be together for a while.
