Brady threw for 505 yards...442 of which were to white pass-catchers.

Amendola, Gronk, and Hogan all had over 100 yards. When was the last time 2 white players had over 100? Let alone THREE?

Ertz scored the winning TD and Foles is the MVP. It wasn’t the preferred result, but it wasn’t all bad.

The last and only time 2 white players had over 100 yards receiving in a Super Bowl was in SB 16. Cincinnati's Ken Anderson threw for 300 yards. Chris Collinsworth, 5 receptions for 107 yards and TE Dan Ross 11 receptions for 104 yards and 2 TD's. Ross' 11 receptions was a record that stood for 32 years! New England's Wes Welker shared the record and it was finally broken by Demaryius Thomas.
Sadly, Dan Ross died at the young age of 49.

Pink sang the national anthem. In a real classy and attractive move she took her gum out of her mouth two seconds before she started singing. One of the Patriots DBs had his face burried in his hand during the anthem as though he was ashamed he wasn't kneeling.
For the record, Pink says that she has been very sick with the flu and that was a throat lozenge she took out just before singing.

Great information!

A staggering 89% of Brady's 505 passing yards in Superbowl 52 were completed to white pass-catchers. Seriously, who here at CF ever thought they'd see an NFL football game in which three different white pass-catchers on the same team had over 100 yards in the same game...let alone a Superbowl game with millions watching around the world? Some pics and videos of our players abusing the two all-black defenses...

Gonna go with a rush of observations. Good job above Thrashen by the way.

Like the Kelce hit Cooks was skulled yet the net result was NO FLAG. The refs just standing there like statues. I could have sworn hits like those back in the day were called spearing and it resulted in a 15 yard penalty. To make matters worse like the Kelce hit few in the media have discussed the non flag. Are they serious about reducing head injuries? This is an OBVIOUS area that has to be addressed. Good grief.

Hogan came up big and for the first time this year looked like he did last year. I am not enamored with Cooks. To be fair he did make some big plays this season but he is built like a slot yet they used him as their only deep threat. He couldn't win the tussles down field and just is not physical enough to win those 50-50 long balls. He needs to be clean open to cause damage. That said Cook's presence hurt Hogan. Unlike last year when Hogan was their major deep threat this year he was reduced to slants and shorter passes. But with Cooks knocked out of the game NE was forced to draw up deeper patterns for him and we saw the great result. And they were extremely explosive without Cooks for most of the game. I said before the season Cooks is an overrated player and despite his good stats I stick with that original thought.

I also thought The Pats would not win a SB back when Edelman, my favorite Patriot, went down. Well hard to argue that with the 500 yards they put up in the air as Amendola and Gronkowski came up big time and again. So technically his loss didn't factor in. But it makes one wonder. Brady is the "leader" of the team but I always figured Edelman was the "emotional leader." Hard to gauge but not having him around I suspect kept the team from being as focused as they needed to be.

The overriding theme of the year has been the lack of defense in college and the NFL as they get blacker and blacker. And the terrible DB play has been well documented here. This game was emblematic of this trend. Good luck Detroit as that " bend but don't break" DC Patricia looked helpless out there. The NE defense looked horrid early in the year and I thought they sort of figured it out . But you can't hide lack of talent. The Eagles went through them like butter. And the cluelessness was off the charts. The media wants us to think that 4th down call that Foles caught for a TD was some magical call for all time. So NE sees the QB lined up as a slot yet the LB didn't alert a teammate with a simple watch him? PLEASE. That was BAD DEFENSE plain and simple. You have to account for every skill player on the field DUH.

Has the curtain finally fallen on the Pats? I thought Pederson out coached Belichick. The Eagles don't seem like a super great team to me which is why I thought the Pats would win. Historically when coaches get older they lose a step just like players. The inability for Bill to make proper defensive adjustments makes me think big Bill is not in his prime anymore and I will leave it at that. And as pointed out above he lost precious seconds at the end of the first half and that idiot hand off on the final KO looks like some dumbass move out of the Tomlin playbook.

They do get Edelman back next season but a full recovery from an ACL tear at his age isn't a slam dunk. Amendola might bolt as a FA and Gronk might retire. But the offense with Brady should remain potent. But the defense is on life support. They have too many holes to fill on D so unless they find major upgrades ( DE Sam Hubbard for starters) we have probably seen the last Brady led Pats team in the SB.

From a caste perspective a lot of the white players were stars which helped the medicine go down. Ertz was solid as expected and made the game winning TD on a great shake move and athletic dive. Even Burkhead had a splash play and the hyper athletic OL duo of Kelce and Johnson turned the Pats D into sludge. But at the end of the day a Pats win would have moved the needle in a much more meaningful way.

I had no problems with Collinsworth. He has changed for the better the past few years so the broadcast didn't feel caste flavored at all to me. Maybe he took cues from Gruden but I don't mind him at all anymore.

Nice observation. With so many white players involved for both offenses, the opportunity for "Caste Speak" was quite high. However, Rabbi Al Michaels and Christina Collinsworth didn't utter a single anti-white remark from what I can recall. Both commentators seemed to like Foles' story and must've said "Foles thought about retiring because nobody wanted him" ten different times. In the second half, they complimented Gronk's physical prowess on a litany of occasions. At one point after another great reception by Amendola, Rabbi Al called him Danny "Playoffs" Amendola and called him "clutch" a few times. I didn't hear any kind remarks regarding Hogan aside from Christina saying something like: "every week with the Patriots, you never know who Brady will single out to have a big game. Tonight, it's Hogan." Rabbi Al was mildly excited during Burkhead's 50-year catch, but never questioned why he virtually disappeared the rest of the game. Despite his great game, I don't remember them saying anything special about Zach Ertz. His scripted story line seemed to invole constant camera shots of his wife's (a pro soccer player) reacting to his big plays.

One humorous piece of commentary on the part of Collinsworth was when he was talking about the Patriots DB's and said something like: "the strength of this group of Patriot defensive backs is that they are great open-field tacklers." Mind you, he said this in the 4th quarter of a game where the Patriot defense was thoroughly shredded and didn't force a single punt.

I know it's way too early to be talking about next season, but there could be some big changes in NE. Solder is a free agent and will hopefully be re-signed, otherwise the OL could grow even blacker. Edelman will be back, but Amendola and Burkhead are free agents and Gronk is mulling retirement despite being 27 years old. If Rex is re-signed and Lewis and White leave via free agency, he could be the starter. Honestly, if Amendola would leave NE, I could see him following Josh McDaniels to the Colts.

Steven Young asked Foles, "hey your a SB MVP, are you really going back to the bench?" Foles would not answer him.
I thought Hostetler immediately left to become a Raider but he had to wait a few years until his contract ran out. Foles might have to play out the string for a year, but his stock his so high at the moment that I can't see him languishing on the bench for a season.

Of course if Wentz's rehab takes longer than expected he may start the beginning of the season as the Eagles starter too...

I see Foles staying with the Eagles until Wentz is tip top to play. Which could be game 5 of next season.

Their Caste-script for this game turned out to be that of omission, uttering hardly any criticism of the two historically awful performances put on by the all-black defenses. No goats, very rarely a player even singled out for criticism following one big play after another on offense. If the Eagles and Patriots had fielded two mostly White defenses, the game would have been called completely differently, and of course the national media would have followed suit by turning both teams' defenses into a huge punchline.

Also, while the White players were complimented -- it was hard not to since they were virtually the only stars of the game -- little attention was paid to the impressive stats of Gronk, Hogan and Amendola, and how effective Burkhead was with his limited touches; rather they fixated on Brady's passing yards. And, an honest assessment of what was taking place would have entailed a plea for White receivers and running backs to be recruited fairly and given the same opportunities as blacks to succeed, just as so many games feature announcers paying homage to the alleged gifts of black quarterbacks when they excel, but it will be a cold day in hell before that happens on an NFL broadcast.

There are many ways to get the "proper" Caste System messages out without Crissie's trademark anti-White blatherings, as Crissie himself showed in this game.

BB benching Butler is getting a lot of attention. I wonder what Butler did to be placed in BB's doghouse on SB day. The truth will be leaked. I don't Butler will be there next year. He and Gilmore are the best DBs they have.

This is why Buffalo didn't match the crazy salary demands of Gilmore at the end of 2016. They evaluated him as good not great and he wanted great money.

As everybody stated the New England defense was literally a colander in this game and this was the reason why they lost. At least the Eagles defensive line had the occasional big play. New England had terrible safety play and no line penetration and it cost them the WAC type shoot out.

Supposedly Butler was caught with pot and broke curfew which is why he ended up not playing. If this is the case than it was his stupidity and lack of discipline that hurt his team rather than BB's decision to bench him which now looks justified.

This game was a victory for those who want a more merit-based NFL. It featured endless accounts of white pass catchers showcasing their abilities - two tight ends, three wide receivers, a running back, and even a QB for a TD. For the podium interviews Foles, Ertz, and Pederson soaked up the spotlight. Kids aged 9-12 who watched that game walked away seeing constant white offensive dominance. This isn't like the early 90s when Don Beebe was an outlier; the next generation is growing up learning that it is normal for white men to put up massive receiving yardage. Mission accomplished.

And look who Forbes Magazine lists in their top 7 favorites to win the SB next year:
NE +350
GB +800
PHI +850
PIT +1000
MIN +1200
LAR +1750
SF +1800

There's a tremendous amount of white receiving yards on that list...and white QB.

While I do agree that there should have been more criticism aimed at the defenses I think these major broadcasts try to keep the negative stuff to a minimum. I also recognize the fact if the defenses were mainly white the first thing out of everyone's mouth would be they need to get "athletes" (meaning blacks) on defense. And the stats reports during the game were not announced as much as usual apart from Brady's impressive passing yards.

And please watch that Foles TD pass again and watch what not one but two LB's of the Pats did on that play. Both had an easy opputunity to hedge towards Foles and blow up the play but chose to engage with blockers on the outside who was far removed from the action.

And Don is right the announcers will not discuss "caste" stuff under any circumstances.

But modern broadcasting has changed over the years and I think Dick Vitale started the trend of bringing up "athleticism" throughout a broadcast. While I appreciate it when announcers "admit" that a certain white player has speed etc. this tactic of constantly bringing up a player's athleticism is unappealing to me. Ultimately it turns into a pissing match for every one white athlete singled out there are 100 black athletes cited for their athletic ability. The point is this type of broadcasting is way overdone and detracts from the game.

One of the caste announcing tricks is to start off with speed talk and inevitably most always it revolves around black players or black oriented teams. Then throughout the broadcast that point is pounded home with a sledgehammer over and over again, a trick Dick Vitale perfected. This has been documented here at caste football for years. In other words there is usually too much emphasis on discussion about a player's speed etc.

Pictures and action reveal more than words and I think most people noticed white receivers playing exceptionally at the Super Bowl. At the end of the day I think broadcasts need to get back to the old days where announcers weren't constantly chirping about a player's (usually black) speed ad infinitum.

This is the likely reason he was benched. And if true, then its on Butler. Where was his head days before the SB?? A classic example of the Tom Iron rule in spades. No doubt his playing days in NE are ova.

Not sure at all about that. 80% of the players in the league smoke weed. Butler and Gilmore at CB was a big improvement over the clowns Belichick and Patricia substituted for Butler. In a game that close, Butler's absence may well have been the difference. Let him go his own way after the game, but first of all win the damn game. Bill's a little too vindictive for his own good at times.

I think the combination of weed and missing curfew were two nails in Butler's coffin. How can any one forget Jonas Grey's ALL WORLD performance on Monday or Thursday Night football 3 or 4 years ago? He ran for around 250 yards and scored like 2 TDs. The next week he is late to practice. Never to be seen as a Patriot again. Later he went to the graveyard for RBs. Miami.

That was a random regular season game; Gray was effortlessly replaced. The same cannot be said of Butler, especially on the biggest stage of them all. Belichick outsmarted himself on this one.

Vindictive is the most fitting word to describe Belichick's actions. Reminds me a lot of how Wes Welker's great Patriots career came to an ugly end.

That's another example. Its BBs way or the highway. And never crack jokes about feet fetishes.

one thing I cannot understand even now is why Rex Burkhead was literally benched after his great plays and stats, limited to special teams after his great plays. When he was in the offence was hopping, he created a huge spark for them.....guess I will never understand this....

Did I miss something?

Rex Burkhead's Achilles heel is that he gets injured a lot. Edelman was the same earlier in his career. Hopefully, next year, Rex will be injury free and really make his mark, rather than in spots like he did in 2017.
