Wilder is the unofficial illegitimate son of VADA and the WBC. His latest title fight looks to be likely off against Luis Ortiz as Ortiz failed a PED test again. Ortiz who has failed PED tests twice claims to have hyper tension, yet can train like a world class athlete? Something smells rotten in Denmark.....http://fightnews.com/ortiz-fails-drug-test-wilder-fight-jeopardy/5855

Wilder will retire undefeated as every time he faces any type of challenge, he will be bailed out when the other fighter "tests positive" for PEDs. He said he wanted Joshua, that fight will never happen.

Wilder is fighting Johann Duhaupas on Saturday. Duhaupas is ranked 34 in the world. No disrespect to Duhaupas, but how does this Wilder idiot keep avoiding real fights?? There are a multitude of fighters out there with a much better resume then Duhaupas. It appears Wilder is the heavyweight version of Adonos Stevensen. Obviously he is openly avoiding big names. Hopefully Duhaupas can pull one out.

Seems like only black heavy weights matter to the Jew driven announcers and media.
Wilder is so highly overrated and needs to get his job at the grocery store back when his glass jaw gets hit solidly.

Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (27-0, 24 KOs) is now officially out for November 4 against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Former WBC champion Bermane Stiverne (25-2, 21 KOs) will slide up from the co-feature spot on the November 4 card to face Wilder in the main event.

Stiverne was already scheduled to fight on the card against Dominic Breazeale. That fight is now off. Breazeale put in the hard work to get ready for the Stiverne fight, and now he has nothing to show for it.

If Breazeale can get a fight against Dillian Whyte on October 28, then it would be good news for him. That’s a tough fight to take on only 4 weeks’ notice. I can’t imagine Whyte’s promoter Eddie Hearn giving Breazeale a big offer to take the fight with Whyte. Hearn has got Breazeale in a position of weakness right now.

The World Boxing Council met and decided Ortiz’s case, and announced the news at the 55th WBC convention on Wednesday.

Wilder vs. Stiverne is not going to get the boxing fans too excited in the U.S. Stiverne has fought only once in the last 2 years since losing to Wilder in January 2015 by a one-sided 12 round unanimous decision. Stiverne vs. Wilder brought in good ratings back then, but that was back when Stiverne was still an active fighter. Siverne stopped being active following his loss to Wilder 2 years ago.

READ Luis Ortiz fails pre-fight drugs test, fight with Deontay Wilder falls apart
Stiverne’s last fight was against Derric Rossy in 2015, and he was knocked down in the fight.
Wilder has now seen two important fights slip through his fingers with Luis Ortiz and Alexander Povetkin both testing positive for banned drugs.

Ortiz positive drug test results for the Wilder on November 4, tied the WBC’s hands, leaving them no option but to rule the Cuban out as an opponent for Wilder.

The WBC hasn’t yet said what they’ll do with Ortiz. He’s almost certainly to be suspended for a period of time. This is the second time the Cuban has tested positive for banned drugs. The first time came in 2014. Wilder still wanted to fight Ortiz even though he’d been popped in the past. Wilder isn’t happy with the latest positive test from Ortiz, but he only has himself to blame for choosing to take the fight with him in the first place Wilder put his truest in Ortiz that he would stay clean for the fight.

VADA was the testing agency. Wilder has now found out the hard way that he needs to be more selective when picking out his opponents for his voluntary defenses. It’s one thing if Ortiz had been Wilder’s mandatory challenger and quite another thing when it was him that selected him in a voluntary defense.

Here’s what the WBC said in their press release announcing the Wilder vs. Stiverne news:

“From WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman in Baku:

The WBC has concluded the process, according to its Clean Boxing Program protocol, in the adverse finding of Luis Ortiz. An official ruling has been sent to the corresponding parties.

The WBC has withdrawn its sanction of the Deontay Wilder vs. Ortiz fight, and Wilder will fight next his mandatory fight against Bermane Stiverne.”

Wilder would have beaten Ortiz imo.He would have kept it long range like he did with Stiverne.Ortiz is 38 but in reality could be in his forties Monsour a black fighter thinks he's as old as 48 and he is alot shorter than his listed 6'4 height.I would root for Wilder over Joshua as Joshua is a tool of the globalist elite. They like to use certain athletes to promote multiculturalism and immigration.Wilder in the meantime doesn't recieve much respect even amongst black Americans like Mike Tyson,Evander Holyfield etc.Wilder to his credit also come out and said Hughie Fury was robbed against Joseph Parker.Having watched that fight again it seemed he was.Ideal situation would be for Wilder to beat Joshua then one of the leading White condenders like Povetkin to beat Wilder.

I saw stiverne outweighed wilder by 34 pounds. He should attack aggressively and try to hurt wilder early. Being that heavy, i doubt stiverne will have enough gas in the tank for later rounds.

Well that was pathetic. Stiverne came in with man boobs and duck taped dreads and did absolutely nothing for the entire fight. All two minutes and some change of it. He just stood there and let Wilder knock him down twice, then out. I hope they held some of his purse.

Can't fault Wilder, but he is on the Primo Carnera career track. Just a matter of time before he runs into his Max Baer.

I will give Wilder credit for his power it's for real but the opponents that he wants to fight if he isn't getting the unification fight against Joshua are glorified ESPN level fighters who all have connections to alleged closeted pillow biter Al Haymon.

PS, Wilder is slowly going power mad, I noticed he dumped his normal wife and now is dating a twitter "celebrity" who looks "high yallah" and dresses like a pole dancer at your average gentleman's club. He also has a Rolls Royce and has the loudest fur coat since the super fly era of the early 1970's. Next up he will be giving out 100 dollar bills on the streets of Birmingham. A knockout loss could send his world spiraling down both financially and mentally...

The fight was shown for free on tv but that was too expensive for me. They would have had to have paid me to watch that stupid "sports entertainment" show - two phonies who both weaseled out of a real fight with Povetkin. Legally they have to call pro wrestling "sports entertainment" because it's choreographed and not a real sport. They might have to make boxing use the same descriptive term as well. As for the Haitian negro he trained well for what he was supposed to do. Lots of nice soft fat to cushion him when he fell down.

I was channel surfing and stumbled across this farce of a fight. I seldom watch TV. Wilder said he wanted a match with Joshua. One of the commentators implied that Joshua was ducking Wilder. Why would Joshua duck Wilder. Joshua is clearly the better of the two
and if he wins he gets a payday and another piece of the unified title he says he wants.?

Wilder's team are desperate for the pay day they will say anything to get the fight as the Joshua fight will be 15 times what Wilder makes for fighting men that should be wearing male braziers.

The general public hasn't been fooled by Wilder's claims of being a legitimate champion or his purses would reflect it.

Wilder appears to be a bit of a "Legend in his own mind". Granted other than Stivern who he fought for the belt and I assume would have been a top ten heavyweight at the time the bout occurred he has only fought 3 top forty fighters ( Washington Spitka and Molina ) and one top 20 fighter Malik Scott. If he is really serious about fighting Joshua he should pursue a match with Joseph Parker. Wilder and Parker both hold 1/4 of the unified title. Neither has a record of defeating elite fighters and the winner of this match would then like Joshua hold 1/2 of the unified title even though neither Wilder nor Parker can match the level of talent Joshua has fought. Like him or not he has met and defeated in ascending order (Boxrec ratings ) Eric Molina -27, Charles Martin-13, Dylan Whyte - 11 Dominic Breazeale-8 and Vladimir Klitschko-2. Parker's resume looks even worse than Wilder's in he has a controversial title win against Ruiz ( I thought Andy won the fight) and a controversial defense against Hughie Fury. So Parker might possibly be enticed to fight Wilder to prove his own legitimacy as a champion.

The issue with these heavyweights is they just aren't fighting each other. They are all guilty of it. It's absolutely horrible. Add in the inconsistent drug testing and you have a product that continually demands pay per view buys from fans, yet can't actually provide fights the fans want. I wish people would turn their back on the sport until these problems get fixed. Unlikely though.

Finding where a fighter was ranked at the time of a fight is difficult except for the WBO ranking. The WBO has a very rating research friendly web site. Wilder is not a great champion no argument. The heavyweight division is the weakest at this time that I have seen it in the 57 years that I have had an interest n boxing. With the demise of an aging Wladimir Klitschko there is no one who really stands out from the pack. Here i my critique. Tyson Fury had done nothing to deserve a match with Klitschko. At the time the fight was signed he had not fought or beaten a single top ten heavyweight according to box rec or the WBO ratings. His resume was almost as weak as Wilder's when the Wilder- Stivern 1 was signed. Fury is also currently unranked. With Joshua the man who had beaten the MAN was stripped of his title and a match set up between two fighters that were politically acceptable to the people running the IBF. i am still confused on how he acquired the WBA title . his record does not show him winning it in a fight. That said he is probably the best of the current substandard Lot. In Wilder's defense he did beat the guy who was the current WBC champion to get that belt . He has also fought Johann Duhaupas who is currently ranked 6 by the WBC and 14 by the WBA the IBF adn Boxrec. He also fought Szplika and Scott who at the time of the fight were both ranked 10 by the WBO. Joseph parker won the title by fighting but the did not face the previous champion and he won in a somewhat controversial decision. He has defended his tittle twice once against
Razvan Cojanu rated 111 and against Hughie Fury rake 1 by the WBO and 22 by Boxrec this fight ended as an MD. I believe either Wilder of Joshua could beat him. I would like to see the titles unified so that if there is a deserving white heavyweight out there he will only have to beat one guy. If you look at the top fifteen heavyweights for the 4 major organizations their ranking do not match well at all, Are there any nominations for the is deserving white heavyweight might be?

I agree. Deontay is a fraud. A manufactured black hope. He still has not fought a real opponent. Povetkin would have grinded him up. The establishment has stalled Povetkin off. They know boxers have a limited shelf life, so they won't let him get a shot until he is too old to capitalize on it.

Povetkin is the real number one contender. The western boxing mafias have tried to shove him aside. I believe he'd get inside both of their precious negro champions and beat them up. When was the last time he even lost a single round? The only fight he lost was to Wladimir The Great, and as big a fan as I am of Wlad, he was fighting like an octopus impersonator that night.

You have a point about Povetkin. His age at 38 strikes me a bit old to still be boxing but he is a highly skilled boxer. He would also be giving up size and reach as well as age and would probably have to fight any of the alleged Champion in a hostile venue. ( I believe he would probably only win if he knocked them out.). Are there any young and upcoming white haevies that might be ready in a year or two?

I found Hughie Fury with more seasoning could beat a Parker level champion, I actually thought he shaded his fight against Parker. But the best under 30 White heavyweight is still the manic nutcase Tyson Fury. Right now the best White prospects are still a few years away.

Wilder is scheduled to fight Ortiz on March 3rd. Ortiz is ranked #4 I believe right now. Maybe these 2 bums will simultaneously connect and knock each other out at the same time.
