Darko Milicic has signed a three year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies.Imagine this starting lineup with three white studs in there.Pau Gasol,Mike Miller and Darko Milicic. The Grizzlies could just be a perfect fit for Darko. With Gasol and Darko grabbing boards, blocking shots and scoring. He should get alot of easy looks as teams will double Gasol. They should make the playoffs this year.I can't wait to see them when they get used to playing with each other and develop a chemistry.

Must be in Ukraine, or maybe Argentina. Surely three white starters is against the law for a U.S.-based team.

I think the Magic screwed themselves on this deal. They paid Lewis too much. He's good, but not that good.

Memphis is also rumored to be pursuing the rights to Juan Carlos Navarro of Spain. Imagine if he started in the place of Rudy Gay.

I hated to see Darko leave the Magic. However, I am glad he went to Memphis. He should prosper there unless they decide they have too many white players doing good. The Magic kept Darko buried behind Battie, a slug of a "player". He should have been starting and getting at the very least 25-28 minutes per game. He still averaged 12 points and could have done more.

I really have developed a hatred for the Magic. Too bad Reddick could not have been traded to a team that will play him. Oh well, there is still time I guess.

Do we know yet if he starts for the Grizzlies? He should but what did the organization say when they signed him? I want to see him get thirty minutes a game on a regular basis.

They talked about how well he should play alongside Pau Gasol. He has to start. They don't have another center. Their only option other than starting him would be to move Gasol to center. The starters should be: Conley, Miller, Gay, Gasol, and Milicic. That's a good starting 5 but they don't have a lot of depth. I'm still waiting for someone to snag Travis Diener. Plenty of teams need a point guard.

KG,

i'm glad you mentioned Deiner. he is a very good point guard who has out-played the people in front of him every time he's gotten the opportunity. albeit, his opportunities have been VERY limited in his short tenure in the NBA.

most people forget that it was Deiner, not Dwyane Wade, who was the best player on Marquette's team when they made their run a couple of year's ago.

Diener was signed by Indiana Pacers.

Here is Darko after the recent European Championships along with the translation. (Hopefully the translation is inaccurate.)

I am sure that Darko will overcome this incident and have a great upcoming year with the Grizzlies.

Reporter: Darko, first impressions?

Darko: All right, but let's do it over there.

Reporter: Darko, calm down a little bit. Your impressions of the game?

Darko: He's a [expletive]head, he should [expletive] my [expletive for man parts], go on ... write that, man ...
all three of them, the first one and the second one and the third one ... I don't give a [expletive] about this, that's what I want to say.

Reporter: [inaudible]

Darko: [Expletive for lady parts] ... they don't call anything...he [expletive] in his pants ...
I will [expletive] his mother in the mouth, man ... if he has a daughter, I will also [expletive] his daughter.

Reporter: [inaudible]

Maybe I'll watch some NBA this year after all, if the Grizz have a majority white starting lineup.
