I can't beleive what I just saw on the rebroadcast of the Rams/Vickings game on the NFL network. The Rams had two white wide outs, a white tight-end, and two white running backs in the game at the same time(near the end of the seconds quarter). I don't think this combination has existed in the NFL since the 60s. Drew Bennett and Dane Looker were in at recevier, Brian Leonard and Madison Hedgecock were in at RB, and Joe Klopfenstein was in a TE. I'm sure the league will put an immediate end to this sort of outragous behavior. The funny thing is, the Rams were moving the ball right down the field with this lineup, and the Vickings put their starters back in the game to try and stop the white drive. Edited by: RedBeard

Yes it was quite an amazing sight. If I remember correctly there were only 2 or 3 blacks on the field for the Rams during that drive. Its probably the way the NFL should look if things were close to being fair. I used to think that maybe it was just Mike Martz that brought some white talent to the Rams, but maybe the owner Georgia Frontiere has a soft spot in her heart for white skill players. Maybe its just coincidence.

Coincidence or not, I hope the Rams use the available and capable white talent they have throughout the season. We'll be watching.

Having grown up my whole life a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan it's kinda hard to change my ways of thinking but I will definitely be a Rams fan 1st & foremost this season.

Marc Bulger only threw 8 ints in 588 attempts. That's only 1 interception per 73.5 attempts. Simply unheard of. While also throwing for 4,301yds. He's the most underated passer in the NFL. & this year he gets the addition of Drew Bennett. Their offense could be something special to watch!

Now if only these ass clown coaches would start Bennett over old slow ass Issac Bruce. Then I would like the Rams that much more. I just can't root for a team that benches the better players over political reasons over an aging ex-star.

I saw that combination two years ago in the pre-season. It was also the Rams. Receivers were Kevin Curtis and Dane Looker. A white tight end and fullback (I don't remember their names) and Dusty McGorty as the RB.

Good stuff, but the only time it will mean something to me is if we see it a lot during the regular season.

Yeah, coming from the Rams this shouldn't be too shocking. Now if Jacksonville or the Raiders put this lineup of the field, then hell would already frozen over. Hopefully the Rams and Lions will allow these guys to play. If Isaac Bruce remains a full time started it finally might become apparent to some of the sheeple that whites are being kept out of the spotlight.

You have no idea what you are talking about. The Rams are running a LOT of 3WR sets and he will also be the go to guy on deep balls and in the red zone. You really think the Rams paid Drew that much to sit on the bench? And yes Bruce may be old, but he is still a great WR. It is not as if he is a bum.

Rams released Nate Morton WR, Brad Lau FB, both white. No one else is listed as FB so it looks like Leonard will back up FB and TB and see a lot of action. RB KJ Harris was cut, leaving Leonardto compete with Travis Minor and R Alexis for backup TB. Also, the Rams released Jeff Dukes a black S so it looks like Todd Johnson will make the team as a white S backing up Otogwe.

Linehan said taht Minor is in a battle with Alexis for the 3rd spot..so that sure now that Leonard is the number 2!

While Drew Bennett is apparently being forced to spend what should be one of the prime years of his career behind the "ageless" and "venerated" Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt is having difficulty recovering from an offseason surgical procedure in his right knee. Holt plans to play but says he is only "70 to 80 percent" and that he may not ever completely heal.

Holt's possible losscould be Drew Bennett's gain. I would much rather see Bennett and Holt as the starters as should be the case, but if it takes an injury to get him out there, that's the way it works sometimes. Even if Holt plays but is less than 100 percent, it could significantly increase Bennett's playing time as a red zone threat and big play receiver.

I guess it was a good decision for me to drop Holt from my fantasy dynasty team then.

if Holt is not 100% it obviously benefits Drew and Dane. and even ageless I. Bruce might have trouble staying healthy all season.

here's to Drew Bennett, may injuries spare him this season!

The fact that Scott Linehan hired Jim "Lord of the Caste System" Haslet to be his defensive coordinator was a good tipoff that this is not going to be an overly white friendly regime post-Martz. Hope I'm wrong of course and that Drew Bennett, Brian Leonard and Co. get a chance to shine, but we shouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen that way.
