I don't trust his promoter Rodney Berman.

Some members of the "chosen" race don't like the Boers.

[h=1]Oosthuizen wins the vacant WBC International light heavyweight title[/h] By Ron Jackson
In a grueling toe-to-toe encounter South Africa’s Tommy Oosthuizen won the vacant WBC International light heavyweight title on an eleventh round technical knockout at the Emperors Palace near Kempton Park when Denis Grachev of Russia retired in his corner at the end of the eleventh round. Grachev (79.05kg) made a fast start to score with stinging rights to the head of the southpaw Oosthuizen (78.30kg) who was having his first fight at international level in the light heavyweight division. The 32-year-old Grachev whose record dropped to 13-5-1, 8 KOs began to tire through rounds ten and eleven but it came as a surprise when his corner indicated that he was not coming out for the final round. Oosthuizen, 26, improved his record to 24-0-2, 14 KOs. The referee was Bruce McTavish from the Philippines and the judges were Lilian Olero (Kenya), Thabo Spampool (SA) and Joseph Chaane (SA).

Thomas has not lived up to his ability. Hopefully things going forward it will change based on this win. I still think he should stay at 168 lbs.

Oosthuizen squares off against Daniel Bruwer today in South Africa in a light heavyweight contest. Haven't seen Bruwer fight but on paper, Oosthuizen should win this one. Hopefully he can get past his issues with drugs and alcohol. Reminds me of Kelly Pavlik.

I just hope Oosthuizen breaks away from his "Chosen" promoter Berman.
