I was reading the comments section on NFL.com about McClain; the DWF's perception of this guy is unbelievable. They talk about him like he's one of the best LBs in the game. Fortunately, the knuckleheads were the minority; for the most part, the general consensus is that this idiot's finally had it...

I somewhat disagree with that assessment of McClain and AJ Hawk. I'd consider them both average starters, with a relatively similar skillset. I agree that in the current points of their careers, neither are very good, but based on the NFL's talent pool at LB, they are indeed, average starters. I think in the right situation, Hawk could thrive as a run stuffer, and in the handful of occasions he been allowed to blitz, he's always been an underrated pass rusher.
With that being said, Dallas is not that situation. If he signs with Dallas, media and DWFs will be on his ass all year, because I can promise you, that defense is going to be bad, and he will be the whipping boy. Of course that's probably the likely scenario wherever he goes. Hawk is a guy you can plug into the starting lineup and get you 50-75 tackles and a sack or two, which by Rolando McClain standards is a solid season, but for white-guy-starting-on-defense standards, that won't cut it...
The best situations for Hawk would be Buffalo, Detroit, Giants, or Baltimore.

Dallas could of drafted one the talented white linebackers but instead took the injured lb smith in the second round. Their trust in McClain who has been an idiot since he came into the league has been repaid.

Which is an indictment of the massive decline in standards of defence across the board imo.

Agree on Dallas, they will have a horrible D and of course, the white guy will get blamed, which is standard. the funniest is when some black player ***** up his assignment and the camera, without fail, lingers on a white defender, Dallas will see a lot of that.

That is great news about Adam Humphries. Even the biased sports writers know that whites are excellent slot receivers
because of their superior hand to eye coordination. We should also have many more of our guys lining up at the
outside receiver positions.

If given the chance whites would dominate the slot receiver position. Whites have excellent quickness, change of direction ability and hand eye coordination, all ideal for the position.

Some semi-good news and bad news from Weenie World's blurbs today.

First one is about Jake Kumerow, who continues to get some favorable press, but note how he's called a "true possession receiver." Hmm, 6' 4 1/2" and runs a 4.54 40 and has great hands. Is there a single black receiver on an NFL roster with those kind of attributes who would be considered anything but a "true outside receiver"?

According to ESPN Bengals reporter Coley Harvey, second-year UDFA Jake Kumerow dropped only one pass during spring practices that were open to the media. Harvey says OTAs and minicamp "help(ed) solidify (Kumerow's) stature as a true possession receiver." If Brandon LaFell performs anywhere near as poorly as he did last season in New England, Kumerow could become someone to watch. Kumerow stands 6-foot-4 1/2, 209 and ran a respectable 4.54 forty-yard dash at his 2015 Pro Day. Kumerow played college football at Wisconsin-Whitewater.

And then the latest on Jeff Janis. Decades of observing this stuff is starting to lead me to believe he won't be allowed to succeed in the NFL. I've seen the pattern too many times before, and he's already in his third season now. Being from a small college will make it easy to purge him and DWFs will believe that was the only reason why. Jordy Nelson is an outlier, the first superstar White outside receiver since Steve Largent. (Eric Decker is a star but not the big play machine Jordy is.) Can't have another potential one in the league at the same time, much less on the same team.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Bob McGinn hints third-year WR Jeff Janis might not be a lock for the Packers' final 53. Specifically about Janis and rookie Trevor Davis, McGinn wrote "it remains to be seen if speedsters Jeff Janis and Davis can make the team or win a role from scrimmage." We would consider Janis a lock to make the 53 on special teams production alone, but whether he earns an offensive role remains an open question despite last January's 7-145-2 breakout against Arizona. McGinn noted that the Packers' scouting staff has "downgraded (Janis) on the basis of straight-line athleticism, tendency to body catch and average ability to adjust."

The Janis bashing is absurd. Davante Adams is a drop machine - he should be cut not Janis.

What the heck is "straight line athleticism?" It sounds like yet another phrase created to degrade a white athlete.

Probably it's a reference to speed. So why not say speed?

Since Janis is well known to be fast, the writer would be called out for lying if he said Janis did not have speed. So the writer used the peculiar phrase "straight line athleticism" to imply Janis is slow without actually saying it. This way it fits in with the racist leftist stereotype that all white men are slow.

"Straight line athleticism" is actually the essence of black athleticism, the ability to run fast for a short period of time in a straight line. It's the only athletic attribute they are better at than Whites on average, yet it forms the basis of the Caste System, along with blatant lies about how Whites can't jump, move their hips, etc.

Jeff Janis could be a pro bowler in the future if he is on the right team and they believe in him. Throw this kid the ball and watch him score. His speed is amazing. Greenbay is beyond pathetic if they cut him or bury him on the depth charts.

They'd be nuts to not have Janis in the 53. IF that happens, I'll be officially ticked at GB (again). I was just feeling good about them this off-season and now the might do this? Crazy. It really makes you wonder who is pulling the strings and do they really want to win.

Wootton (pectoral) announced his retirement Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.

A 2010 fourth-round selection, Wootton spent his first four years with the Bears before moving on to the Vikings in 2014. He then signed with the Lions in 2015, but missed the entire season after suffering a torn pectoral during the preseason. He'll retire at the age of 29, with 12 sacks and 86 tackles in 60 career games.
