Bubba Watson has caved! Watson owns The General Lee a 1968/69 Charger used in the Dukes of Hazzard, says he will change the paint scheme with The Confederate Flag to the US Flag.

I was going to post a comment about Watson before this about I should like him and I do, he's been an outspoken Christian, but his attitude on the golf course is sometimes reminiscent of Tiger Woods without the club throwing. Anyway, so disappointing to here this.

BTW, NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon have spoken out about the confederate flag. Needless to say, I will no longer support either of these two.

Is anyone surprised by this? Bubba is a huge crybaby and complainer on the course as well as a regular contributor to our "Weeping Wusses" thread. This guy is a mangina.

Well, he does use a pink driver. Pretty strange symbolically that the biggest or second biggest hitter in the game (up there with Dustin Johnson) goes pink with his whopping stick. Maybe he thinks the NFL's annual pandering to the feminists in October should be a year-round thing.

I like Bubba, he's a self-made country kid who's his own man in a sport with little individuality on the course, but like with other White athletes (notably the White QBs that get bashed by some around here for not being philosopher kings), don't look to him for inspiration off the playing field.

Here are a few Bubba Watson quotes from a few years back concerning the car…

"The Confederate flag was not used (in the show) for what people see it as today, so that’s sad. But NASCAR was built on moonshining, so the show was built on moonshining. I thought it was fun. I didn’t buy the car to get publicity. I bought it because I love it"

"There’s no better feeling in the world that cruising into the Country Club in the General Lee, laying on the horn. You can almost hear the nickers bunching up"

Here are a few pics of the “Racist Hate Mobile” that Bubba specifically sought out for himself at a car auction in 2012. It clearly made him happy back then and he obviously didn’t have a problem with the Rebel Flag (quite the contrary!) until the current “political climate” made him consider the fact that he might lose corporate sponsors or the respect of the corporate media and DWF’s if it was seen in his possession. This guy is unequivocally spineless, both on and off the course...

There’s probably a very good reason that Watson was recently voted “The PGA Tour’s Most Hated Player.” At this point, I’d root for Tiger over Bubba…and you guys know how I feel about Woods.

I said in a another post that this gutless mug oughta re-paint it pink, adorn it with the "*** flag" & rename it the "General Liberace".

Watson has clearly lost the privilege of being a "Bubba" after this socially-engineered capitulation to the whims of the wimps.

i encourage you to all call him by his proper given name Gerry Lester Watson from this point forward. what a pussy.

Gerry Lester Watson (formerly known as Bubba) was profiled on 60 minutes recently.
It was interesting and he definitely is a different critter.
The theme of the episode could have been titled ------"Bubba Watson is a scaredy cat, boo!"
It addresses his on-course unfriendliness, tantrums, the famous dress down of his caddie, and his being the least liked among fellow players in that PGA poll, as well as the golf game questions.
To the point of this thread-----"Bubba Watson has caved!" (Read the above posts) I say.....so many White heroes are spineless sell-outs that don't make the cut as role-models. That goes for businesses and organizations as well. NASCAR sold out and doesn't get a red cent any longer from me. Bubba and the vast majority of White public figures are living their own lives and don't want anything to do with issues larger than their bank account and corporate image. Idolatrous sports and entertainment fans feed them and those same White folk are just as wrapped up in their own pursuit of the materialistic consumerist life-style of bling-bling and escapism. We're only human is the retort, and they're right, and that's why I sometimes have doubts about racial solidarity when there are so many half-assed Whites who don't give a damn.
