Alot of these teams being helmed by black GMs are having coal black drafts - Bills, Raiders, Giants, Dolphins

He would completely dominate on whatever defense he was selected for, especially if the defense was an otherwise coal-black one. They can't let that be shown to the masses as it would cause massive cognitive dissonance...then they would start questioning things...

Ahh, you're right. I was fooled by a single image I saw. I guess he'll be the equivalent of TE Jimmy Graham that played for them, potentially mistaken for being a White player while in uniform, until he takes that helmet off...

Of course the Crawfords get Matakevich to jerk around at the bottom of their roster while their overrated 1st round bust LBs get chance after chance

Matakevich can room with Anthony Chickillo, it'll be like a museum exhibit. Tomlin and Colbert will point to them and laugh, while the coal black squad yells "old school" and cracks up.

Wright had some injury issues. That could be a factor. He also ran a 4.9 40 and the 40 is grossly overrated by NFL teams.

On the other hand the Colts drafted a black linebacker with 5.1 speed so Wright's race is almost certainly a factor.

Colts draft two White players to play Center. It's starting to sound like only C and QB, and perhaps other OL positions are the only acceptable roles for White players on the team now. What a difference in the past 5 - 10 years on the racial makeup of that team.
