It's a fluke off year. Whites are still the best at wrestling (as with many other sports).

-Congrats to Dieringer(Wisconsin native) 4x NCAA champ!

-Penn St. has been dominant under Cael Sanderson .

-I appreciate wrestling, have a few buddies who wrestled in HS attended a few tournaments. Sports like wrestling, baseball, and soccer imo white kids have better shots at getting noticed and earning a scholarship compared to football and basketball. Basketball in recent years has gotten better though.

Off night for our guys. I woud sum up the cast matches as follows:
Clark loss at 133 no shame in the loss. The guy he wrestled Was just better.
Nolf 157 wrestled his heart out Against another Good wrestler just came up short at the end.
Nickal - 174 bad loss lost to a guy he had already beaten a number of times And didn't get it done when it mattered the most.
Dean - 184 - great job in winning a close bout and repeating as champion.
197 - mcintosh - horrible job his last Chance to get a title. Did nothing the whole Match. Not agressive at all. I don't think he took one shot the entire match. Hate to say it but he deserved to lose. Poor effort.
