On one hand, African-Americans bear the brunt of violent crime in the U.S.: In 2005, the most recent year for which statistics are available, blacks were more than twice as likely as whites to fall victim to serious violent crime, most often at the hands of other blacks.

Blacks are also the overwhelming majority of victims of attacks recorded by the FBI as hate crimes. In 2005, blacks were the victims in 68 percent of nearly 5,000 hate-crime incidents nationwide, while whites were the victims in 20 percent of the cases. Whites accounted for60 percent of known hate-crime offenders, while blacks accounted for 20 percent.

But on the other hand, when overall cross-racial violent crimes are tabulatedâ€â€￾including incidents not formally classified as racially motivated hate crimesâ€â€￾Justice Department statistics show that blacks attack whites far more often than whites attack blacks.

In 2005, there were more than 645,000 victims of cross-racial violent crimes between blacks and whites in the U.S. In 90 percent of those crimes, black offenders attacked white victims.

You guys should see some of the posts there like "why do white people kill themselves so much", "are whites boring, culterless losers", and the clincher "is the white man the devil".

The article also presents to us a statistical anomaly. Of the 5,000 so-called hate crimes committed in 2,005, approximately two thirds were perpetrated by whites? That is a strange one isn't it? How could that be?It is quite simple. Any action taken by a white person toward a black is often considereda hate crime by our perverted judicial system. We need only to glance atblacks withfrowns on our faces or dare to utter any variant of the - N - word to seal our fates. On the other hand, blacksroutinely beat, rape, kill, mutilate, and even dismember white people without being charged with committing hate crimes. Somehow, white folks are always random victims of violence or just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

that means that almost every single black person has commited a hate crime towards a white person. to be honest, i truly believe black people to be the most racist people i have ever heard of.

In the 70s I met a Russian who had fled his country. He explained how the Soviet media lies to its people. he asked if the US media lies. I told him the media does not lie, but doesn't always give you all the facts.
This article is a classic example of this. It tells you the facts but never comes to a conclusion.

I had been aware of the 90% to 10% ratio of these crimes for several years, having read about it in the Washington Post. I remember having almost fallen off my chair -- not becaues of the 90% figure (which I expected) -- but because I was reading about it in the Washington Post!
