some major omissions in the article on the front page...

"10. Atlanta Falcons:
Keith Brooking (MLB)- Six straight 100 tackle seasons. He is what keeps a poor Atlanta defense even remotely competitive.
I didn't even have to look at the rest of this roster. I knew it ended with Brooking. The offense is the same way. I don't even want to look at the percentages, but I'd guess this is one of the blackest teams in the NFL."

how about Jordan Beck, guy with a great potential who is slated to be Brooking's backup and possibly moving to the outside to compete for a starting spot?

whatever happened to 2 talented backup DEs? Josh Mallard had 4 sacks last year in limited action while younger Paul Carrington started a couple of games and posted 37 tackles and 3 sacks... they are still on the roster and i am sure Carrington will play quite a lot.

Cleveland Browns: Simon Fraser, DE who started 5 last games of the season had 36 tackles and 4,5 sacks... they also drafted Chase Pittman who has good chances of contributing according to reports.

Arizona - Monty Beisel actually started for them in a couple of games last year, has a chance to see some playing time this season as well. they also have Chris Cooper who is a backup at both DE and DT and had a couple of sacks last season...

i sure appreciate your effort in writing the article but you gotta do your research Kevin...

Safeties article:

Jets have Eric Smith who played real well in limited action last season, posting 27 tackles and 2 interceptions...

Miami got Cameron Worrell from Bears, he might see some PT.

Bengals - FS Ethan Kilmer and SS John Busing...

Chargers actually have the only white corner in the league that got any PT last season (save for Dustin Fox' cameo) - Steve Gregory.

Atlanta is very black indeed, they did sign Nick Turnbull, outstanding college corner from Florida Int but he has a mountain to climb... and then some.

Colts drafted Brannon Condren high, so i hope he will get a shot at playing. Giordano might be the best safety in the league that doesn't get to start...

Eagles still have Dustin Fox to jerk him around. that's another depressing thought.

also, Jay Moore was 49ers 4th round pick, he can play both end and OLB.

all in all good article but just like the one about d-line, incomplete. i hope the author accepts this constructive criticism with no hard feelings.Edited by: backrow

it's worth noting that BOTH NFC and AFC Defensive Players of the Moth for October were white defensive ends: Chiefs Jared Allen and Packers Aaron Kampman!

(with Brady being AFC offensive player of the month it makes 5 out of 6 winners for October white

)
another interesting fact is that last month's NFL top defensive player was a white linebacker Barrett Ruud!
