New strategy to stop Nash.

Bruce Bowen will play for the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, the NBA office decided today.

After reviewing Bowen's third-quarter knee to the groin of the Suns' Steve Nash in Game 3 on Saturday, NBA vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson upgraded the foul call on Bowen to a "Flagrant Foul 1" for the play. It carries no suspension

Lie with dogs...

Maybe Nash will wake up one day and realize that "they" are all on the "same team"-forget this Suns v Spurs charade. Don't expect your teammates to help-Bowen's on "their team". Just watch the end of the game, when the "opposing teams" do that hugging and jive handshake display.

Judging by his spousal choice,I'm positive Nash will never wake up.Edited by: Blue Eyed Devil

From Kobe's elbows to the mauling of Dirk and Nash, it's obvious there's some racial factors at work. But the onlyonethe media is interested in is the ludicrous "study" that inverts reality and magically finds white NBA refs to be racists.

Not the first time Bown has acted like this and apparently the league is finally noticing.

Not sure what is meant by Nash realizing "they" are all on the same team. Are you implying that the Sun's black players are rooting for Nash to get hurt and ruin their chances for a championship?

As for the media created racial bias study of the NBA refs.....all of the players questioned, both black and white agreed it was ridiculous.

You're hopelessly naive if you think they care about Nash-not one of them has stood up for him-gee,wonder why?. They'd rather have one of their own at the point, but since Nash is so good, they'll tolerate him for now. The HATRED of whites in the NBA is obvious. If the brothers had their druthers there wouldn't be ONE white in the NBA. Edited by: Blue Eyed Devil

Sensational Steve, rallies his team for a come from behind victory and gets nailed again with another flagrant foul.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=270514024

The Suns, who trailed by as many as 11 points, had taken the lead for the first time in the second half on consecutive behind-the-back feeds from Steve Nash to Amare Stoudemire that mad it 100-97 with 32 seconds to play.

As Nash started to bring the ball up the court after Manu Ginobili missed the Spurs' fourth straight shot, San Antonio's Robert Horry hit him with a forearm that knocked him into the scorers' table and had players from both teams rushing to the scene.

Phoenix's Raja Bell tried to get at Horry as did Nash after he jumped to his feet.

Horry was given a flagrant foul and was ejected.

A cheap shot from Robert Horry! Shocking. And the recipient of said cheap shot was white Steve Nash. Another shocker.Edited by: Blue Eyed Devil

Horry is a bum. When he was a Sun years ago,he threw a towell in Coach Danny Ainge's Face.He literally wanted to fight the coach and refused to listen to him.It was similar to L.Sprewell going after his coach. The Suns quickly traded Horry to another team.I like the fact that Nash got up and came back after Horry even though he was stopped. He is tough.Nash used to play soccer, hockey and off course basketball. This is one tough Canuck!

And the scum in the media LOVE HIM. F-the NBA,TNT,ESPN,ABC..F em all

Not naive at all. Played basketball my whole life up through college and am just saying that whatever personal feelings players might have, the ultimate goal is to win a championship. Nash, is by far, the best player on that team and gives them the best chance to win. This is why several players, (Diaw, Bell and Stoudemire) went after Horry after he tried to take out their best player, so your comment about no one sticking up for Nash turned out to be untrue.

Nash played a great game.

Raja Bell stuck up for Nash after the Horry incident and received a forearm to the face from Horry for his troubles. Barbosa has a very close relationship with Nash and Steve by all acounts is well loved and respected on his team. You can only stick up for a teammate so much in the playoffs without getting tossed from the game and suspended yourself. Stoudemire and Diaw may get suspended for briefly leaving the bench last night when Nash got floored. I hope not. I'm sure the Spurs will gladly take a Horry/ Stoudemire-Diaw tradeoff for game five.

All I can do is laugh. Do you not read what people write? Let me clarify: You are wrong about no one sticking up for Nash.

Chill out Blue Eyed Devil! Everybody that has posted on this thread has been in total support of the White athlete. Nobody here has any illusions of what the NBA is all about these days. Remember the old promos the NBA used to run about "How I love NBA action, I love this game" Nobody here is doing that.
But you were wrong to state that no black player would come to Nash's aid. That opinion has proven to be untrue, but you avoid admitting that. Why don't you just admit that you were wrong and give yourself some much needed credibility on this thread.

Horry's a prick! But at least we all know that he'll never be half the player Nash is. Blue eyed devil, are you telling me you don't enjoy watching Nash ripping teams apart with his natural blend of intellegence, athleteicism, leadership skills and awareness, are you saying to you don't enjoy watching the Jazz prove everyone wrong! At the moment the NBA is getting whiter every year so lets be happy with the progress. Whats BET bt the way?

Any black players ever get pounded this badly by Whites, even back in the '50s & '60s? I...don't...THINK...SO.

Every White player in the NBA needs to come together, hold some sort of meeting, form some sort of White Players coalition, and make demands to the NBA. And if nothing happens, they ought to walk out. Of course,We know everyone in every area of the sports media(Especially,ESPN) will just mock, laugh, and sneer at them,as they are all brainwashed into Racial Stockholm Syndrome.

The sub-animals are going to be free to pound on Nash,Nowitzki, and any other Whites who are good enough, until their in comas - and the refs, their sub-animal "team mates",racist jew David Stern, the NBA itself, and the media will NEVER DO A DAMN THING TO STOP IT!!!!

It's people like you that encourage new visitors to the site to quickly dismiss the legit arguments that are put forward here.

Caste Football's cause is not furthered with your senseless ramblings. And that IS why we are here, is it not? I want to see equality in the sporting world. You are making the entire site look like a joke.

If I was in Don's position and was looking to further foster legitimacy for the site I would ban you.Edited by: Sark6354201

Actually that post was not a senseless ramble. He makes good points. Of course, it would be wiser for Weltner to tone down his rhetoric and use less offensive words than sub-animals and so forth, but on the whole, he is right on the money. Stockholm Syndrome? Some truth to that too.
